Everyone saw what Huawei made today. Yes I am talking about P8, the system looks amazing with the new EMUI making me wondering, Are we getting those new specifications ? The camera app and etc. ?
Even the theme looks good.

Maybe someone can extract the EMUI and theme for the room when it will be available....
Why would Huawei not update the Mate 7 to Lollipop and EMUI 3.1? It's a matter of time though, as they need to create the ROM for the Mate 7 (and its different versions) first, besides creating new ROMs for all other current phones. So just have a little patience.
Of course the emui will be updated along with lollipop you just need to hang on.

EMUI 3.1 is now available for all Mate 7 devices with the latest (5.1.1) update, available on their site.

Huawei has released the update Lollipop and EMUI 3.1
i found it on the website from Huawei it's self.
i have installed on my mate 7 and it works fine.
there is 2 versions of the update: MT7-L09 Firmware(Android 5.1.1,EMUI 3.1) and MT7-TL10 Firmware(Android 5.1.1,EMUI 3.1)
check the site and you will see it for youre self.

at the moment there are no other ROM's than EMUI based ROM's. But you could update first to EMUI 3.0 and then to 3.1 Beta which is Lollipop 5.1.1.
I have it running on my P7 now and it looks fresh. If you still want a custom ROM then search on XDA for the P7 and there you will find 'se7en' ROM and MIUI. Of course rooting your device is very important for further customization.

Beginners question: I just bought me a Huawei Ascend P7 Mini (Which is the German version of the Ascend G6 4G/LTE). I read it comes with Android 4.3 and has an update to Android 4.4 kitkat available.
But before I install it I would first like to know if I keep the original theme and icons after upgrading. I ordered the white/gold version and like to keep the same theme for aesthetics.
This theme I like to keep after upgrading.

Is EMUI a Universal standard on all Honor Devices?
for example, EMUI 5 on an Honor 8 will have themes that can work on an Honor 6x running EMUI5.
Doesn't that mean that EMUI would have certain features which will work on all devices that are running that version of EMUI? if so, Can't some users run Honor 8 themes? I'm not 100% sure on this topic.
It will run on other models too. There are 3 themes variants as of now, emui 3/4/5. If you have emui 5 running on 2 different devices, both will work fine and so on.

Hey guys i have the Honor view 10, and was looking for a official Dark Theme as Huawei did not include one, the user made ones all seem too homemade looking, i am running EMUI 8.0 and was wondering if anyone has the latest EMUI and can extract the original Huawei Mate 9 Pro Dark Mode theme, i would be very grateful. Thanks
i am currently using the EMUI Themes Factory for Huawei dark theme, but on my device there are some glitches, so was hoping a untouched stock one would work smoother.
I'm running rooted Mate 9 Pro. If you give me instructions on how to do it, I can upload the files you need.
