Bricked?! SGS6 920F can't mount "/data" or internal Storage after flashing Bootloader - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Bricked?! SGS6 920F can't mount "/data" or internal Storage after flashing Bootloader
I was running XtrestoLite DeoMod Edition 2.4 on 5.1.1 on my German Galaxy S6 64GB when i decided i want to upgrade to 6.0.1.
So i downloaded all needed files here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...xtrestolite-deodexed-mod-edition-1-3-t3119968
After i had flashed the 6.0.1 Bootloader, Modem and TWRP 3.0.0.0 (which i also found in the thread above), i was stuck in TWRP, as i couldnt perform a Wipe anymore. For some reason it won't mount my internal Storage and some other partitions anymore, for instance "/data". So basically i can't flash any 6.0.1 Rom but i also can't do a FULL WIPE.
I have already downloaded the 6.0.1 Stock ROM from SamMobile and i am ready to flash it via Odin, but i'm worried it will Wipe all my data! As already mentioned, TWRP wouldn't show me my internal Storage and mark it as "(0MB)", so it seems like it's already deleted, which is the worst thing that could have happened to me, as i lost crucial data.
My Question is: Why will TWRP NOT show me my Internal Storage and say it can't mount "/data" and all the other folders. Is it Softbricked? Why would Flashing a Bootloader and Modem literally destroy my internal SD Memory?
I want to Flash the Stock ROM, hoping it will fix the Problem but i want to see if you guys can help me Get my Data from Internal Memory first! Please help me!
Thanks alot

flashing a rom in odin should not erase your internal storage as long you dont select wipe in odin. in your case you must flash the latest stock rom in odin. if your storage seems deleted after flashing stock rom. it happened earlier while messing around with twrp. also you should try twrp 3.0.2. viel glück

[Q] Failed upgrade to JB 4.1.2 on Chinese P6800

Hi all,
after successfully upgrading my Hong Kong P6800 from ICS 4.0.4 to JB 4.1.2, things went rather south this morning.
screen shot of my current ICS version.

I tried to use the same md5 file (KIES_HOME_P6800DXMD3_P6800OLBMD3_1157844_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5) with Odin v1.85.
At the moment the Odin started to write NAND with the factotyfs.img, ODIN stopped and interupted the flashing process.
I managed to revive the tablet, by re-entering the download mode and flash the CWM 6.0.3 tar file.
Flash was ok and luckely the TAB rebooted :highfive:
Who can tell me what I did wrong, or is the simple fact that the chinese P6800 can't be flashed with this ROM?
I wouldnt give up hope yet...
Get goo manager from play store...then get TWRP...
(make sure you have root access first)
from here you can have a plan B to install it.
look for "erobot rom thread" and i think the origonal stock rom is available as a downloadable zip.if not skyhigh or someone had it on there rom page.or else just use the new erobot skyhigh etc...there based on the stock one but modded..
then you can flash it with TWRP...
before flashing...
make a back up of your rom to sd card..
then do the full wipe..
eg 4wipes....1 cache 2 davlik cache 3 factory reset 4 system..
then install erobot or stock rom zip from sd card..
then RE wipe everything again...without restarting tab
re flash the rom again and should be no probs..
now reboot and should load up...
If flashing roms doesnt work I just wipe everything properly and flash twice and always works.If wont load or boot loop then need to redownload rom again and check the file size agaisnt what you are downloading vs what you have when finnished downloading to make sure its all there this will cause it to bootloop if not full file.
if still fails to boot up then go back to your back up from sd card you saved and do recovery...now you can try mobile odin or something else,but i always use TWRP and never have a problem.
Thanks MRBR7! ur suggestion was spot on. I've e-Robot running now
Glad it worked..
I Bought mine in Hong Kong too....P6800
Erobot V2.2 is my fav Rom at this stage.

[Q] Disrupted storage partition in my Xiaomi Mi2s - HELP, please

Hello,
I flashed the latest MIUI fastboot dev rom (V6 Lollipop 5.0.2) (aries_images_5.4.24_5.0_cn_05157b373b) on my Xiaomi Mi2s on Friday. However, as I found out later, this ROM is somewhat special, because it merges internal storage and partition for the installed apps together. I didn't know it then and wanted to return back to the previous rom, so with the use of MiFlash, I tried to flash one of the earlier V6 L5 fastboot roms, but this error occured:
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Meantime, my Mi2s fell to the floor from approximately 40 cm, but nothing happened, no obvious hardware damage or functional issues so far.
The issues that started after flashing the fastboot rom are following:
- it is not possible to flash any of the previous MIUI fastboot roms via MiFlash and with the use of "flash all" script, except for the latest rom (aries_images_5.4.24_5.0_cn_05157b373b), othwerwise the same error 0x80004005 occurs
- I can flash any of the previous fastboot roms with the use of "flash except storage" or "flash except data storage", but if I do so, there is no free space in the internal storage as demonstrated below (the partition remains merged), thus I cannot update the system with multilanguage MIUI
- the only rom I am able to use and successfully flash is that latest fastboot one (aries_images_5.4.24_5.0_cn_05157b373b), that allows me to copy the multilanguage MIUI rom to my internal storage and flash it via updater up
- however, I cannot flash this particular rom from the MiRecovery as an update.zip file ("Failed" error)
- "Wipe SD Card" in MiRecovery is not functioning as well ("Failed" error)
- the info about the capacity of internal storage indexed in my MIUI system are off too (image below)
It is clear something went wrong. There is something with the storage partition and I don't know how to solve it. Is there any way or anything I could try to return the system to its previous functioning state, please?
Thank you in advance for your answer and guidance.

OnePlus One problem with restoring roms & lot of lag

Hello . Thank you just for clicking here trying to help me .
Last night i tried to flash the new COS 13.0 . I wiped the system , data, cache partition ( without internal storage ) and then i flashed the zip . i booted the rom, then i tried to get root & xposed but that didn't worked and i wanted to restore the backup with my old ROM ( CM 13 Nightly ) . Surprise !! I got a ton of errors : " Unable to locate \firmware , persist, modem_st1 " and another ones . ok, just re flash the cm nightly and manually install all apps . I do that, then i see a LOOOT of lag on all thing i do . Just a simple swipe ..lag , try to call someone ..lag . text a message ...lag .
I go to the TWRP , trying to make a backup . I got those errors , i will make screenshots .
I searched the problem on google, i run ADB and write the make_ext4fs /dev/block/mmcblk0p15 command but that doesn't change everything .
I didn't lose my IMEI , I CAN MAKE & RECIEVE CALLS
Thanks if you can help me .

Help please
What zip did you flash?
How did upgarade? with incremental?
Contain only changes. DOES NOT CONTAIN FULL ROM
You should not wipe system.
The most secure method is to fastboot latest cos img.
And upgrade from OTA
I flashed a zip from the OnePlus forum, the Untouched Version of the COS13. I cannot post links, sorry.
And it was not a incremental, was the full ROM. I manually wiped the system partition. Is my fault right?
I think the only solution is to backup all my data & completely return to stock via OnePlus Toolbox

unable to flash anything in TWRP, SD card wont mount or show contents

Hi!
I picked up a Mate 8 from a local service provider and would love to flash a new ROM to get rid of the ugly stock one, but I am stuck when trying to flash anything from TWRP.
The phone boots fine, I unlocked the bootloader, and has TWRP Mate 8 version...I can't locate any files from the internal storage though. I understand this is due to the system being encrypted. I cant seem to get around that though. I tried the format data option, hit yes, then go back but that obviously has deleted what I had stored (the SU zip). I can't mount the SD either afterwards, to load it in recovery.
I tried using the Italian knife tool, and used the Root option, and option 3, but get an error: error: cannot load '.\rec\boot.img
I am not a pro on this so it might be something farely stupid. I would love if anyone could help me with this...

Edit:
I was able to solve myself. It was a rookie mistake. Perhaps the internal storage is encrypted, however I was able to flash SU using TWRP by inserting an external SD, which I had not done before. I was able to view contents from that location and did not need to use the Italian knife tool.

Are you using SuperSU ??
To delete system apps, download system app uninstaller from play store and grand it superuser permission.

Resolving Bootloop has removed my Internal Storage

Yesterday I got all my root set up and working fine on my Redmi Note 9 Pro using Magisk (albeit without TWRP installed as I didn't know anything about it at the time) then I decided to install the Smali Patcher module with Magisk so that I could Spoof Pokemon Go with my son in the evenings. I created the module no problem, but when Magisk flashed it, my phone bricked and got stuck in a bootloop to fastboot. I eventually got TWRP installed and factory reset my phone in the "WIPE" menu, I used the standard Wipe that deletes user data etc then factory resets the phone. Everything seemed fine, I was able to set up the phone as per normal until after about half an hour I noticed none of my apps had installed yet. I went into the Play Store and most of had a "couldn't restore" error on them and clicking on one and trying to force it to install would come up with an error about insufficient storage space.
I plugged my phone into my PC to have a look and to be amazement, Internal Storage doesn't show up at all, only the SD Card shows. After over an hour, only one or two apps have successfully installed so I assume they are installing onto the SD card and that's why they are taking an absolute age to install. Most of the apps just flat out won't install so I can pretty much just make a phone call, that's it. Am i right in thinking I have corrupted my Internal Storage somehow and the OS is now isntalled onto the SD card? Maybe the Internal Storage has been formatted and not reallocated or something? How do I go about restoring my phone to how it should be ie 64gb Internal Storage.
I have tried restoring to factory settings again and it made no difference,

Reflash phone's original Stock ROM to get rid off of all the modifications you applied so far.
