[Completed] Itab 10.1 stuck on recovery screen - XDA Assist

I was given an iTAB tablet that I can not get to work it will not boot all I get is the recovery screen with the error No command. I can not find the default firmware for the device and trying to recover using any zip it gets as far Verifying update package then aborts the installation with no error code or what went wrong.

[Q] Evolio Evotab2: how to root the device ?

Good day all, i own an Evolio Evotab 2 tablet and as the title says, i want to root the device just to move some non-essential apps to the sd card.
Tablet spec`s are:
- Cortex A8 1Ghz
- Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich with official firmware
- RAM: 512 MB
- ROM: 512 MB
- kernel version 3.0.8
- build number rk2918_android4.0.3-SDK_v2.10_20120205 ( Rockchip RK29 according to this reply http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31346795&postcount=2 )
I have tried Unlock root but the downloader fails at 72% every time (bad ISP, bad )
I have followed another tutorial posted here http://www.androider.ro/cum-fac-root-la-tableta-evolio-evotab-2-cu-android-4-0-3-7211 but without any positive results.
Wow, no answer in 2 days. Should i start to belive that for this device there is no way to obtain root access ?

[Completed] [HELP] Rooting Devant D-Tab 701

I've searching everywhere nothings working on rooting my device Devant D-Tab 701
Here's Tablet Specification
MODEL- DT-701
Series - Orion
CPU - Rockchip (RK3066) ARM Cortex A9 1.6GHz (Dual Core)
Android Platform - Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean)
Flash Memory - 8Gb
RAM - 1Gb
DISPLAY PANEL - 7.0"
GPU Type - ARM
GPU Renderer - Mali-400 MP4
GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) - Quad Core
I tried SuperOneClick[x], ZhuoDaShi-2.2.9[x], Manually rooting using psneuter on cmd[x], and flashing update.zip method[x]
is there any other way to root this tab?
While I don't have experience with your specific tablet, I have gone through rooting a similar RK3066 tablet.
Many of the Rockchip tablets already aren't locked down and they just need Superuser or SuperSU installed, but sounds like you may have tried that already.
If it is locked, first I would try Kingo Root.
If you need/want custom recovery, check CWM ported for Rockchip.
If you're lucky, your kernel partition has a valid kernel (mine didn't tho) and the generic RK3066 recovery will work. Make sure you back up your stock recovery first!!!!.
If you need further assistance, please reply on the linked threads.

[Completed] [Q] Teclast X80h Bootloop after editing build.prop

Hello,
I have a Chinese tablet "Teclast X80h (FB5M) Dual OS" Windows 8.1 FULLY ACTIVATED & Android 4.4.
On Android the play store not working so by following the instructions of many forums I rooted and modified three strings of build.prop:
ro.product.device=picassowifi
ro product. locale. language=en
ro product. locale=US
On restart goes bootloop. I tried the hard reset from recovery but doesn't solve.
I haven't backup and haven't installed the CWM recovery on the device so I can't flash custom ROM with ADB sideload. I found the custom ROM online but doesn't contain scatter files so I can't flash it with SP flash tools.
Could you please help me to solve this problem?
Gabriel.

GHIA Tablet - ONLY AGILE B a.k.a AGILE A7i

So I have this tablet, thanks to my little nephew who loaded it up with tons of games and viruses/ads (he's 8 yrs old) so he asked me to repair it for him. My problem is that I can't seem to find any relevant info on this tablet, not even on the manufacturer's website , which i find truly strange not to find it there and it's not a very well designed site either. Does anyone know of any software for this tablet to restore or upgrade firmware on this equipment? Can it be TWRP'd or CWM'd?? Are there any Custom ROM's for it? I'm kind of assuming most answers will be hard no's due to the Intel Processor in this thing.
According to CPU-Z this are the specs:
Processor: Intel Atom (TM) CPU Z2520 1.20 GHz
Cores: 2 (4 CPU's)
Architecture: x86
CPUID: 6.35.1
Codename: Saltwell
Model: ONLY AGILE B (GHIA-pn)
Manufacturer: GHIA
Board: GB7_GEN_CN
Hardware: redhookbay
Screen; 6.94 inches
Resolution: 600 x 1024 pixels
DPI: 170
RAM: 1024 MB
Internal Storage: 3.85 GB
OS: Android 4.4.2
API: 19
Bootloader: Droidboot Provision OS v.2.0
IFWI version: F9.FD
Product: GHIA-PN
BUILD ID: G02TJET_A442_X04_006_607PRS_ES
Java VM: Davlik 1.6.0
OpenGL ES: 2.0
Kernel Arch.: i686
Kernel Version: 3.10.20 (eng.aily.20150128.132500)
Root: NO
Google Play Svc.: 20.15.16 (000700-309763488)
UPDATE 5/30/2020: I contacted the manufacturer GHIA and they responded quickly indicating this tablet is supposed to match up with the GHIA Agile A7i and even provided me this direct link to download the manual and firmware updates. It contains the IntelAndroidDrvSetup 1.1.5, iSocUSB Driver 1.0.1, and PhoneFlashTool 3.1.8.2 (win32) executables. I couldn't get the 1.1.5 or 3.1.8.2 files to launch, it gave me a "admin user has blocked these programs..." error msg even though I ran them as Admin. So instead, I downloaded updated versions of these programs and they installed fine (IntelAndroidDrvSetup 1.10.0, iSocUSB 1.2.0 & PhoneFlashToolLite 5.8.4.0). I was able to flash the firmware using PhoneFlashToolLite 5.3.2.0 which did give the tablet a better touchscreen response and eliminated the lag i saw originally (process is rather lengthy), but it did remain on kitkat 4.4.2 and no root access. It does offer the option to apply firmware updates locally via the system updates menu (online updates wouldn't connect to network), but I couldn't locate the correct directory in order for the system to recognize them that way.
I'm not familiar at all with the Droidboot Provision OS bootloader, albeit it looks pretty cool and useful. Unfortunately I couldn't find adb/fastboot commands that work with it to unlock the bootloader and be able to flash a custom recovery like TWRP/CWM (perhaps ported?) or get a custom ROM on it either. One major flaw i did noticed though is that not many games from the Google Play Store work at all even though they install but just FC. Surprisingly enough, it did allow you to uninstall any app it comes bundled with, so good for bloatware cleanup. I welcome any feedback anyone may have on this little tablet.
