umount ext2 partition

Im having trouble formatting my sdcard back to fat32 because i think the ext2 is still mounted.
Im using paragon but it only sees my fat32 partition and i have tried a few things on the boards but nothing seems to get paragon to see that partition.
Wondering if someone knows how i can umount the ext2 partition
i have tried umount -t /dev/mmcblk0p2
but paragon still doesnt see the partition.
I know its a corrupt partition for sure though
no real access to a linux box unless i download live cd

[Q] EXT4 partition of internal memory using gparted

Hi guys!
I have installed CM10 Alpha4 on my i9003. The question I have is this:
Can I reformat the internal memory to EXT4 using Linux (gparted), or I have to use some script/CWM?
I currently have:
1. System partitions in YAFFS2 (made by the installation of CM10 Alpha4)
2. Internal memory in FAT32
3. SD in FAT32
Since I only use Linux I was thinking in using EXT4 on my phone, because I like Linux's file systems (and, of course, all its advantages)
I'm assuming the SD card will not be a problem if I reformat it using gparted.
Thanks in advance!
If you're talking about system partition, I'm afraid MTD partition doesn't support EXT4.
If you're talking about internal memory(which we can store data inside), I think can, found some article about this but you need to use some apps though.
EDIT: it seems like our phone won't mount EXT4 partitioned sdcard, so you will need to use some apps like app2sd to do the trick to actually store data in ext4 partition.
Oh, what a shame... but, hey! That was very helpful and I learned a lot. Thank you! :good:
EDIT: ops, I read it before you edited it. Yeah, I thought we were not talking about the same partition. It's the internal memory.

Problem mounting sdcard

My sdcard can be detected by windows. I can see all files on it.
I tried minitool partition to make an EXT4. Now I have a problem, I format the sdcard and still can't be mounted on my pico.
I tried to activate the option via adb
I hope xda's help me.
(sorry from my english)
did you make the main sdcard partition as ext4? is it logical? you gotta make fat32 as primary to make it work in your android..windows can read logical partition but androids can't.

did lenovo tab2 a7-10 support ext4 file system???

i try to copy 4GB file into lenovo a7-10 but i found that it's does not support exfat (as i used on my G3)
I formated second partition on sd card using EXT2. When I installed link2sd pro, I selected the use of secnd partition as ext2 and saw info about problem. Whe I selected EXT4 , it works good all time to today.
Is it EXT4 over EXT2 ? Or EXT2 was reformated to EXT4 in the background , I do not know.

is there other way to move file to the ext2 patition ?
