Anyone has any clue to where you can buy this accessory? I cannot find any information on the web...
Same here. No one at TMobile knows about this device at all.
Just ordered from clove.uk shipping to us and i am betting price there is either lower or on par with us, if not oh well my loss lol. They say they will have stock on april 8th.
It is not yet available in the US, and even if you did find one, it won't work on US versions of the phone.
It has not yet been approved by the FCC.
It is on the way.I will show them when they arrive.
How much is it?
Awaiting for this as well, after a couple days of searching have not found anything. T-mobile stores are clueless as to when and how much. will keep an eye out will post as soon as i find something.

Is yours shipped already? Where did you order it from?
It's like phone companies have no idea that they own the portable audio market. Even finding specs on a phone DAC is difficult enough, now there's a phone with a premium external DAC, phone's released, no news on the DAC. No one knows anything about the DAC, no pricing, no release date, no availability. Do they plan on a shutter button selling their phone for them? Like, marketing... for audio?! No one cares about audio!
This is baffling.
I agree. I was already going to get the G5 but I am really excited about the DAC. They made the modular aspect a major point of this phone. Why wouldn't you at least be promoting the only module that is practical to use on a daily basis?

Hello I found it on amazon for 229.

I ordered mines roughly 196 shipped. I'll report back if it is compatible with the US version of the phone (T-Mobile) and such.

Not too expensive... BUT I would have to be skeptical about it not working w/ a U.S. based phone. I don't see why it would not work.

Fingers crossed I'll be able to walk in to a store tomorrow and pick one up in the UK as a few sites have said the 8th for the phone and modules, but the list of retailers has disappeared from the lg site

Ive emailed LG UK,
It will be working with tmobile version as it seems there is only one version. I checked the korean model and they have the same model number as uk version so i am going to order from korea as usd is currently stronger than korean won.
It won't work on a US phone unless there's been some kind of update...skip to about 5:30

FYI . i work for tmobile and have talked to our lg rep and the LG National Training rep (people who work for LG not for tmobile) for a bit and according to them, the DAC will not be available in the US. it is not even compatible with the US version.( as mentioned previously in this thread ) they said they hadnt heard of any plans to bring it to the US version. you will however be able to walk into a store and get the 360 cam, VR or Cam+ Module

any idea what technology its using that isnt compatible? Or maybe its a form factor thing? Or maybe since the power goes in the module its now wired for US voltages?

Spoke to a manager today at the Bell store.
They told me they are very sure the phone will be coming to Bell stores on May 3rd. Pricing was not 100% positive but is expected to be around $650 no contact, which is almost identical to the $640 projected for the USA.
(old news) You can pre-order the phone for 50 dollars from most of the various carriers. This is a DOWN PAYMENT.
Just figured I would share since it seems Canada isn't getting too much love Looking forward to the launch
PS. I looked at the Xperia ZL while I was there and it was a very nice phone, I don't get what all the screen fuss is about.

It will be 699.95 Off contract or 199.95 on a 3 year contract or upgrade.

To my knowledge all 16GB phones are China-edition and thus
a) missing international LTE bands
b) come with a chinese OS (ColorOS) instead of CM
Afaik all early contest winners who won the 16GB edition were upgraded to white 64GB editions.

Your knowledge is wrong.
1. The LTE works fine in Europe for the chinese version.
2. You can flash CM11S stock image.
3. There are 16GB international phones for sure.
I bought mine from lenteen.fr , paid via paypal, received 1 week later
But now they ship from EU (mine was shipped from china) and it should take around 48h
If your buying on Gumtree then make sure you pick it up as there are a lot of paypal scammers on there.
I'm selling one of mine on there at the moment and I have had a few people asking if I would post and take paypal even though I offered to deliver(I travel a lot with work) so you just know they would make a paypal claim as soon as they get the phone.
Likewise if your buying on there you get a lot of scammers looking to pull a fast one.
If you are buying a sealed in box phone then you can't check for the yellow screen until you pay for it.

That's a dangerous statement as neither chinese nor international OnePlus work as expected across all of Europe due to the missing LTE band 20.
Furthermore the chinese 1+ is missing LTE bands 4/17/38/40 which equals to 43% of all LTE bands missing. True it will work in most parts of Europe where the international one is working due to Europe's huge reliance on LTE bands 3/7/20.
Additionally the chinese version is missing 3G/HSPA band 4
Conclusion: my point still stands that the chinese version is NOT the same as the intl. connectivity-wise.

I specifically said "comes with", not that CM11S cannot be flashed anyway. Even if it is not very likely, they could break CM11S official updates based on IMEI, serial or other factors if you are not entitled to it. You would still have the "normal" CM11 though.

They changed production schedule way before mass-producing the device - only a few international devices were shipped with 16GB to journalists and maybe very early contest winners. Fact is that you could NEVER buy the 16GB intl edition.
Just bought mine off Gumtree from a local guy who had pre-ordered but bought an HTC M8 in the meantime.
£320 for a SandStone Black 64GB, brand new and unopened - absolute bargain
Hi there. Im from Barcelona, Spain, and I bought my Oneplus One from myefox.es. I bought the white 64GB one, with DHL shipping service (was here in 6 days) and it costed me 313€ total price (around 270 pounds, guessing) Yes, it is the chinese version, but it comes with CM11S installed, unlocked bootloader, stock recovery.
Works perfect, no problem with reception, calls, signal... not eiter in spain nor uk, as I travel to Glasgow quite often so, so far, so great!
I think it is a great deal, so you might want to go and check the website, I think they have one in english too, but this is the one that I bought it from.

Paco.

As for CM, since they posted a ROM on their website, it's very unlikely they would ever start doing something you mentioned to the CN versions... Even if the 1% chance came to be, you can always get the latest OTA zip on xda
Gumtree probably best place like I said just meet them at there house or yours exchange details if you feel need. There some good deals ATM

Looks like I will be selling my HTC one Max to get the one plus then
I posted a while ago in a thread I can't remember that I had talked with Verizon online and they told me that the free gear s2 was the 3g model. Yesterday I went into a Verizon store to play with the s7e and asked the rep the same question. He said it was the Bluetooth only model. Either way they both said that it comes directly from Samsung with no requirement to add it to my account which if it was the 3g model then it would cost $5/mo for data. I'm just going to flip it. Thanks for the $300 off big red!
When i pre-ordered my s7e they required the $5/month activation with $175 cancellation to acquire the watch. I have a hard time thinking the its just the bluetooth version due to my required fee but we will see. I figure its easier to not activate it and sell private party and eat the extra $5/month. ($5/24 = $120, cheaper than the $175 to cancel)
Edit: I looked over my receipt and see that its the $300 version gear s2, meaning that it is the Bluetooth model. Once I receive it, I will go into store, play dumb and cancel it saying that i thought i needed it for the watch.
Well jeez, I wish they would be consistent. I'm going to call them soon and get another opinion.
Edit: just got off the phone with them. Its the 3g model ($299 is the contract price). And It will cost $5/mo even if I never use it or give it away so I'm going with the vr headset. I have a moto 360 and don't consider the s2 an upgrade, and so I'm not willing to pay anything let alone $120 for it.
3 reps with three different stories. Really frustrated.

You guys are confusing me. I thought you need the phone first so that you can register it with your imei number? Then you pick either the Gear VR or the S2 and it ships from Samsung in 4 to 6 weeks (basically confirming that you still have the phone after the return period).
You guys are buying the watch directly from Verizon; not getting it free from Samsung! The S2 even shows up in Samsungs rules section 4. It's a Verizon S2 promo but through Samsung.
3/4 the page will go live. You have to give the receipt, Mac Address, and ECID/IMEI. Then you can pick which part of Verizon promo you want. This is a Verizon promo which is run through Samsung. You will get the 3G model, and there is no contract required for it(Just like with all promos if a contract is required it will say it in the promotion rules).
Thank you for confirming Tidbits! But even if the page goes live on 3/4 us Verizon users are basically stuck in a holding pattern until we receive the phone right? We won't have access to the MAC or IMEI until we have the phones in hand next week (unless Verizon delivers before 3/11).
Correct.
Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Correct you need the phone for the Mac Address. Also the reason why you wait 4 weeks is to lock you in so you can't refund. 30 days(California). Just food for thought.

Where in the promotion rules does it say that it's the 3g model? I can't find it. I just don't know which rep to believe, I'll probably call again when I have the phone in hand. Thanks for your opinion though.
Do you think Verizon would not give you the 3G model when they can probably convince at least 1/3 of them to get a plan for it? Samsung is selling both models for the same price right now. you know how Verizon loves money.
As if you look at the promotional details when Verizon advertises it. It says retails for $349.99 which Verizon sells the 3G model for that much. They sell the bluetooth model for $299.99
http://www.verizonwireless.com/landingpages/samsung/?tab=why-verizon
Galaxy S7 and S7 edge requires a new device payment activation. *Gear VR MSRP is $100, 6-game bundle is estimated at $50 value, Gear S2 MSRP is $349.99. Free Gear VR or S2 takes 4-6 wks to deliver. Visit SamsungPromotions.com/VerizonOffer to redeem the free offer.
http://www.verizonwireless.com/connected-devices/samsung-gear-s2/
Yeah, at this point I'm hoping Samsung gives out more information on the 4th. Even if I get a VZW rep to corroborate your opinion, I'm going to have a hard time believing them when three reps have said three different things already. Hopefully Samsung has the details.
just look at the pricing.
Retail value 349.99. There is only one Gear S2 that cost that much and that's the 3G version which I listed. If the retail value was $299.99 then it would be the bluetooth model.
I already got my free s2...bad news is when I called in to pre-order they messed up. They weren't supposed to discount one, I was supposed to wait. But they did and I got a free s2 with 3g from verizon. I can still get the offer from samsung as well.
---------- Post added at 07:25 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:24 AM ----------
Verizon has both versions of the s2 listed fur $299.99 on their website.
The 3G version $299.99 price is with Contract. Without which is retail $349.99

The number of gifts are limited and you already received a gift. The moral and ethical choice would be to inform Verizon of their mistake or not claim a gift.
Verizon already know that the reps messed up but caught if early enough that they didn't lose to much.

Looks like BestBuy USA is sold out. You can't pre order from there anymore. The Canadian site still shows it as available though.
If it cost $350 for the non LTE Frontier, that means it may cost $450 for the cellular enabled version. Guess we'll have to wait for the carriers to put up their preorder page.
The Best Buy Canada site shows a release date of November 18. Probably safe to expect that will be the US release date, too.

Right now I have a 3G AT&T Gear S2. I am torn if I am going to keep non LTE Gear S3 or order one from AT&T when it becomes available. I feel that numbersync for calls doesn't work all time. Plus very rarely do I go out without my phone. I am not really sure if there is any great benifit to have the LTE version so I am up in the air

I can't imagine them selling out in a couple of hours, especially being a pre-order, but who knows.
I'm wondering if the page just got put up and wasn't supposed to be active yet. You guys just happened to pop in at just the right time.

Silly question, you did order from BestBuy USA, correct?
If you go to the page where you ordered it from, does it show "Coming Soon" now?

I, too, had the Gear S2 3G AT&T model. I never used the LTE/e-SIM option so I'm skipping the LTE versions of the Gear S3. I just need speaker, Samsung Pay MST, and GPS.

Tizen Experts posted on Twitter that Best Buy stopped the pre order because they ran out of stock.
Now, the good news is that Best Buy in the USA has started offering the next Tizen smartwatch for $349.99, that is for both the Gear S3 Classic and also the Gear S3 Frontier. We were overjoyed with this news as our American cousins do not like being left out when it comes to device launches. At that time the delivery date was rumoured to be around mid-November but it hadn’t been officially confirmed. Unfortunately all celebrations eventually have to come to an end and Best Buy now reports that the S3 has ran out of stock.

If this is true, I'm so happy I made the preorder cutoff. ?

How can they run out of stock that quickly!!!
If it's true, sounds like poor planning.
Maybe they had all their production workers making replacement Note 7's before the whole replacement thing fell through... lol
The Classic is back up for preorder!

Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Smartwatch with Heart Rate Monitor 23 Nov, 2016
Can anyone in the USA provide me with the Model Number of their OnePlus 6, need BOTH the 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB variants?
Looking to purchase the device, Unfortunately i must purchase it on Amazon and i want to make sure i get the right variant....
Thanks in advance!
*edit*
I found out ALL OnePlus6's have the same model number, no matter the variant, or color, or region..
*Edit*
So far i have found out there are (2) different models, A6000 and A6003. I can only assume there is a A6001 and A6002, most likely for other regions...

Thanks for the info nfo, looks like the 1+6 has the same model number across all variants.
I decided to take the plunge and said FUKC mid-range devices, I'm getting a OnePlus6 in white to match my Panda Pixel 2 XL....Seriously, 8GB of RAM, things i wish the Pixel 3 XL has....
So I ordered the OnePlus 6 off Amazon, only because i had a $400 Amazon Credit. I ended up paying over $100 more and come to find out, this device was not sold by an Authorized Retailer. I asked OnePlus if i can purchase just the Damage Protection on a new device purchased from someone other then them directly. In the Subject Line it states (US WARRANTY). I asked if i would still be eligible for the Factory Warranty and NOPE!
so dont believe everything you read....

I'm sorry that happened. Generally, to keep the warranty, you must either buy from op themselves or an authorized dealer. I would not be too concerned as there aren't many manufacturing defects reported. The odds of you needing to use the warranty are slim. I also must ask, are you using this in the u.s. or another country? If somewhere other than the u.s.a., make sure the bands the phone has are compatible with the network in your country.

Yeah, I contacted the seller and they said IF there was a problem, they would process the RMA.
I am using it in the US and on TMO and it covers ALL TMO LTE Bands in the US including the newest band 71, which is for capacity.

Band 71 is the 600mhz they bought last year in the spectrum auction. It's for their signal to travel further from the towers and for the signal to penetrate buildings 2x stronger. Not for any real speed improvements and it's only in rural areas that have virtually no coverage for now. So it isn't even close to any real city and such.
What you will see and get a boost from is the glass back (increases radio reception) which people same is not point without wireless charging ROFL, and the new modem which is now 4x4MIMO and THAT will increase your speeds in the same area. For example, in my house, the best area for reception is my living room. Before selling my OnePlus 5 I did a Speed test and it was 48mbps down on my OP5 and my OP6 with the same sim and location pulled 135mbps 1 min later.

I have metro pcs (TMobile) in US. Works great!
There are 2 versions. A6000 and A6003
The A6000 is missing three 4G LTE bands; 30,32 and 71
These bands aren't used in Europe only in North America ATM. But you should check your carrier and Wich bands they use

Yea, the A6003 has been ordered and delivery is 7/11. I have T-Mobile and according to the Specs, the device runs on all available GSM LTE Bands, 2, 4, 5, 12, 66,and 71...

Seems to me, that getting the a6003 would be everyone's best bet for coverage. Unless of course you live in Europe and can get the a6000 cheaper. I knew there was another model but couldn't remember which. Thanks for the info.

I'm on T-Mobile network (metro pcs) and can confirm it does on all these bands. What's more, due to the glass back and Snapdragon 845 soc, the reception is fantastic. Much akin to Motorola phones I've had in the past. Everyone knows Moto has the best reception in general for smartphones, but op6 is just as good if not better than any Moto I've had in the past. Even my wife's s9+ has issues when my op6 doesn't.

This is not true at all! I love my Silk White, but there are so many defect reports, it's not even funny. I've never seen this for a flagship phone before, except the Note 7.
Almost all reports come from Asia. So I guess their quality control is different for US and Europe. Keep that in mind.

That is on you and Amazon. Oneplus website sells these phones directly, and their prices are actually the msrp. Which is currently the lowest price, because the phones are so hot.

The only reason I spent the extra $100 buying through Amazon, because I had a $400 gift credit from returning a Moto G6 Plus, so I had to purchase it from Amazon.
