First, this project is NOT mine. It's of @sandpox
Devices: Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 (GT-S7582) / Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus (GT-S7580)
Cyanogenmod 12.1 is now stable, fast, great for daily use! Dual chip working!
Installation:
1. Install Samsung USB drivers
2. Download and extract Odin in a folder
3. Download ROM for Dual or Single SIM, TWRP and gapps for Android 5.1 (optional)
4. Flash TWRP using Odin. Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options must be unchecked
5. (Recommended) In TWRP, do a full wipe as shown in picture below
6. Still in TWRP, flash ROM and gapps
7. Enjoy
Before installing, make a full wipe

FM Radio (not working in newer versions)
To use FM Radio, you need to install Spirit FM 1
- First flash SuperSU v2.46 or later (needed for radio application)
- Install Spirit FM 1 free version

To work, it's necessary changing Settings - Audio - Method - and choose Samsung Galaxy S3/Note/S2_ICS. I also recommend change Volume Scale to 5%, but it's optional
Xposed
To install Xposed (recommended only for experienced users)
- Go to page of project
- Download XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha4.apk (don't install now)
- Download and flash xposed*.zip
. - use latest version, now it's v85. Android 5.1 is sdk22. And our device has arm processor
- Reboot and install XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha4.apk
- Now you can use Xposed modules

Everything working! But there are some small bugs reported by users, that don't happen in all devices
Known problems:
- Dial animation laggy.
- Can't modify keylight timeout, disable keylight [using tool like GravityBox to disable]
- Slow to turn on device in off mode charger [unplug charger, battery; plug battery back and power it on]
- Video playing have swapped red-blue color in software rendered application (eg: browser)
[better use player that have support HW render like MX Player]
I don't have bugs, and it's the ROM I'm using.

same here, currently running latest build of cm12.1 all i have is the laggy dialer animation which went away after i set animations to 0 in dev options

Cant use Xpose on this one i say this room is not good for use i pass this one till get better version

Note for who don't know how to upgrade kernel:
This zip file are not supposed to be flash in recovery
extract it 1 time, you'll get modules/ and kernel.tar
kernel.tar flash by odin or extract it to get boot.img and flash it by any method you want
modules/* copy to /system/lib/modules/, old file must be delete and copy new file to there (remember to backup old modules)
this kernel are supposed to not have any deadlock or headset problem, report to me if anything gone wrong
remember to backup your old kernel

surprise: I just know how to fix dialer lag, our phone kernel set the limit to 60fps maximum frame rate, I tried to increase it to 70fps and dialer lag is gone xD

I flashed this Rom and it is working fine. The problem is i don't have cellular network. When i try ti search and register manually i get an error message 'cant connect to this network at the moment. Try again later'. My imei is okay. I have tried gsm only,WMDA Only and restarting but none seems to work. Please help

A brief report:
Rom flashed off the bat, everything i tested works (cellular, mobile data, camera etc) , it just remains to see how smooth it runs and if any bugs pop up.

just do full a backup (sys, cache, data, boot, etc...) before wiping the previous rom, so you can simply go into TWRP after trying and restore it

Do a clean install:
- flash stock rom using odin
- flash twrp from link
- wipe everything but external sd (full wipe, as in image below) - data will be lost, have a backup
- flash rom and gapps

What Doesn't Work:
- Bluetooth has audio issues
- External SDCard will not work as "internal" storage
INSTALLATION
- Make sure you're running latest TWRP 3.0.2-0
- Copy GApps and CM ZIPs to your internal or external SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- Perform WIPE:
In TWRP, select Wipe --> Advanced Wipe.
Check Dalvik/ART Cache, System, Cache, and Data
Swipe to Wipe
- Flash CM zip
- Flash GApps zip
- Reboot
Updating to a newer version of THIS rom ("dirty" flash)
- Boot into Recovery
- Flash CM zip (no need to re-flash gapps or wipe anything)
- Reboot
If you have any issues after doing a "dirty" flash, do a clean install before reporting any problems.

Tips:
If you flash a gapps package and get a force close on the keyboard, boot into TWRP, mount system, then choose the file manager option and delete /system/lib/libjni_latinimegoogle.so Fixed
You will need to give your browser permission to access storage before you can download anything with it. Go to Settings-Apps to adjust permissions.
If you flash a Gapps package with Google Camera, the camera may not work. Many i9300 users are reporting that the new Google Camera needs an API that we do not have and therefore will not work.
When connecting the tablet to a computer to transfer files, it will always initially be in "Charging" mode and you will need to select "File Transfer" mode by clicking on the notification on the tablet.
Camera - If you get "can't connect to camera" message, download Mediaserver Killer app from store and use it.
Netflix - If you get lines in your Netflix video, edit your data usage settings on the Netflix website to Low or Medium. I created a "mobile" profile and set the data usage to "low"; then selected that profile in the app and I no longer get the lines on the videos.
Google Movies - If you get a "license error", you need to give the Google Movies app permission to access "phone"; then reboot.
I have noticed that the latest version of Google Movies does not work (at least on my T310). It always gives the "failed to fetch license" error when trying to play purchased movies. I found this same problem when I first starting using CM13, but it could be solved then by giving the app permission to access "phone" in the permission settings for that app (then reboot). But, the newest version of the Google Movies and TV app does not request these permissions, so the "fix" for the previous version does not work.
If you want to use Google Movies and TV app, you can install the previous version (3.10.10) and allow the required permissions (then reboot) to get it working again.
I will not post the apk because people have varying ideas about installing apps that are not installed directly from the app store, but you can find the previous app on APK Mirror website.

Will test on the t310 as soon as I can I am especially anxious of the Bluetooth headset problem that was evident during 12.X (and other custom roms)
Edit: Tried it out. Bluetooth is still a bit messy for headsets. Unless I am very close (less than 2 meters) - so far.

Great job gr8nole. One problem that I encounter that is found on lollipop too is YouTube having lag. I really like to use it but in lollipop and marshmallow there's still problems. Still, thanks a lot for keeping this device up-to-date with the latest version of android. Thank you! ?☺?

Ok... I installed without wiping data but sim issue is still the same...
Dint detect the sim.
Secondly i only have one mmc but its showing 2 diferent cards one is 5gb and another one shows 1.5gb n internal is different so altogether its showing 3 memories???... Gplay services crashes might b i have not installed or updated gapps.. Not sure. Bt d main issue is sim doesn't gets detected...

Get and install TWRP for your device variant, see this thread
Obtain the latest zip from the LINKS section below
If you are coming from another rom project (or stock), you have to attempt a full wipe before installing. On TWRP, go to Wipe -> Advanced Wipe and select ART Cache, Data, Cache, System. If you were using Adoptable Storage on a previous rom, chances are it won't get recognised by the new rom, in this case select External Storage too. This will erase all the data stored on your SD card.
Flash the zip using TWRP
Reboot and enjoy

ISSUES & WORKAROUNDS
Some steaming videos cannot be played through an app that uses webview
WORKAROUND: Install Android Webview from the Google Play Store. CyanogenMod comes with Chromium Webview by default. This does not play all online streamable video content.​
After a soft-reboot, adopted MicroSD card is not accessible and shown as corrupted under storage settings.
WORKAROUND: Do not format the storage as advised by the operating system. It should be accessible and working properly after a hard reboot.​
WiFi network disconnects from the access point for no reason.
WORKAROUND: This bug should be fixed after the 20161026 update. If it persists, try enabling Settings->Developer Options->Use legacy DHCP client. If it still persists, please report the issue on this thread.​

Running smoth, as I can se, we have preview of both camera but hangs on saving, also there are some artifacts on camera preview on imx sensor, maybe someone should check with that guy who edited build prop on cm12.1
Also, strange problem, facebook and messenger app hangs also, not able even to log in.

Hey, thanks for installing and reporting! Camera fixes will be coming soon I hope! The issue with messenger and probably facebook app is cyanogenmod 13 specific. There is a solution here: http://en.miui.com/thread-195550-1-1.html

I don't have any artifacts but it is because of my sensor i suppose i didn't had those problems on the 12.1 rom as well, Anyhow the only thing that i am registering as a problem for now is that i can't connect a weather provider to the weather.Somehow it does not appear on the selection list .I tried with Weather Underground,Yahoo Weather and CM Cheetah Mobile weather.
There is a known bug with Nova Launcher which causes the pull down menu to be slow but this is a problem of Nova and Android 6.

i managed to Fix Camera White Artefacts with a build prop edit just like in cm12.1
hope it works for u guys :good::good::good:
i also added some build prop edits to improve battery life and ram usage hop u guys like it

no it only removes White Artefacts on imx sensor

I don't think you can use the script on CM 13, since the system partition is a different size now..

Works great! But I am not able to get the accelerometer to work. It did work initially, but after a few hours it(auto-rotate,compass) stopped working.. any quick fixes?

Since yesterday everything works pretty fine accept 2-3 things.
1.Rotation(accelerometer)
2.live display ( i got a notification at evening,although i was searching for this tile and in the menu but i did not find it,when i tried to change it through the notification nothing happened) and it does not change color temperature)
3.Weather(tried with several weather providers )

I am woking on a new script for the cm13 i will post it ass soon as it work

i made a new script for repartitoning the internal storage with new valus that is compatible with CM13
just run cm13-Repartition.cmd for partitioning the internal storage for instaling cm13
and run Stock-Repartition if u want to flash stock the LG stock kitkat rom

Xposed Works?​Not tested, maybe in future versions​
What works?
All the basic functions (Wifi, RIL, data connection, Bluetooth, camera, sound, and more)
What does not work properly?
-Mobile network signal doesn't displays correctly sometimes (displaying as No SIM card), but still working anyway for calls, text and mobile data. A restart (2 or 3 usually) can resolve this.
-External sdcard write/acess - FIX: Go to settings > installed apps > enabled documents app or watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrWoICi-6wI
-Documents app needs to be enabled again after a reboot - FIX: Turn Off MIUI Optimization in Developers Options
-Custom APNS created by user doesn't saves
-Secure WiFi hotspots doesn't work on some devices.. FIX: Install FoxFI app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foxfi

Huge thanks was waiting for this for a long time. Finally arrived .Using it from a day and no issues except the mentioned. Also in accessibility many options give setting crash. Don't know its XDA issue or ROM issue but all XDA apps are not working. It was working fine in the previous ROM.

You can still contribute by fixing the bugs. Open source is all about contributing. And i think this rom was a real pain to port. Look at the contributor's list..

A better port overall the navbar can be hidden by pressing the quick ball toggle. The fix for no SIM card is an odd one though you have 2 double press the power button and the system crashes for it has no camera but then has both the Sims working. I found a feature though that by default the adreno gpu is oc to 400mhz instead of the regular 300mhz but as a result battery life sucks. As I am typing this 4~5% of my battery is drained also xposed does not work and causes bootloop. Hope these issues slowly get fixed

2. Battery draining faster compared to other ROM(s) only 3 apps running in background - WhatsApp, YT Music , YouTube rest all hibernated using Greenify

4. Google Photos takes forever to backup photos tried on WiFi as well as on LTE data

1,2 . Will be fixed in next update no worries you can join the telegram group for support we recomend a kernel change as of now currently to fix heating and battery drain isssues(Halcyon kernel or agni [HMP] is recomended)
3.That seems fine but ill look into it
4.Gapps are in intial build as well as rom so wait for a syable release or install nikgapps core and install potos from play store that works fine for me

no firmware needed if u need join the telegram grp for more support

bugs I've found so far.
1.For some reason Google files is showing internal storage as empty (might be a mistake on my behalf, but not sure)
2. Phone once rebooted itself while it was charging
3. Rebooted once when I was trying to screen cast to PC
4. Quick settings and notification tab in Legion settings is showing blank.
5. Battery seems to be draining fast
6. Manual Rotation sometimes not working

1.Gapps are not stable yet and google changed the way storage works (once again a new storage related api) so it will take some time for stuff to work u can use the inbuilt one or twrp if ur pro and need anything
2.Nothing known yet from users but still i will consider it
3.Screen cast will be fixed soon its a initial build so only necessary stuff is given
4.Its just because those are yet to be added in upcoming updates
5.Yeah we have fixed it ..its under testing

Hi. Thanks a lot for this work. This is honestly a great ROM, far faster than lineage. Really love it.
I've found 3 bugs :
1/ bluetooth doesn't work for me. I can pair devices (car, bluetooth speaker...) but sound isn't streamed on it. Anybody encountered that issue ? I've tried several params in dev mode (bluetooth driver and so on) but nothing worked for me
2/ Google camera is crashing everytime. As you have no camera app included, it's a problem (I've found open camera is working and a descend app)
3/ Update UI is crashing when trying to read informations about the new release.
Anyway, thanks a lot !
EDIT :
The bluetooth now works with the LegionOS-v3.7-jasmine_sprout-20210322-OFFICIAL-GAPPS.zip build. Just fine !! That was my main concern Thanks !
