I'm thinking about jumping back into the Android wold with the S7 but I have a question about function. Back when I used Android I couldn't use the mic when there was an Aux jack plugged in. Is that still the case with the S7? It looks like it was still the same on the S6 and it's something I use constantly when I'm in my work van to dictate text and use Siri for directions. Thanks!
I will test it out

My mic still works with a speaker plugged into the aux jack

Has anyone had problems with bluetooth in their cars? I connected my HTC Titan to my car, and it constantly connects, and then disconnects, and then reconnects, etc... and nothing plays out of the audio system. I'm thinking maybe my phone is defective
Do you have the same bluetooth versions on your phone and car too?
This caused my problems playing music via bluetooth in my car.
HTC Titan makes use of version 2.1, check whether your radio has the same version.

please check support for EDR, too!
My Trophy worked great in my Lexus and now also on my new Jeep... but when used on a friend's car (a Seat Leon) it was pure hell and pain, similar to what you are having now.
is there any sort of fm transmitter for the DHD? i have an old fm player in my car and i would want my DHD to be connected to the car's stereo through fm transmitter, any ideas?
Any FM transmitter should work. They connect to the 3.5 mm audio jack and often get their power from a cigarette lighter contact.
I want to do something similar - I was thinking of getting a Plantronics K100 bluetooth kit. It is available for about £30 here in the UK and will take streaming audio from the phone via ad2p and it has an FM transmitter to output to your car stereo. Of course, it also handles your calls as well. It just clips on the sunvisor

Also, a big advantage is that the charge port on the K100 is a micro-usb the same as the DHD so you can use the same charger
Fm Transmitter
Htc Desire doesn`t had that hardware component so there is no fm transmitting

I have been using one for over 1 year now, for the relatively cheep price they are very good.
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using xda app-developers app
Has anyone heard about wireless charging for the Desire?
Iv'e seen w]the Wildcharge universal adapter the fit into the USB port.
Are there any viable hacks for something inside the case?
I think you don't need a hack if you have adapter, ain't that plug and play?
i want to see it in action

It can be done.
You would need to fit the wireless charger coil inside the battery case, though.

There are plenty of solutions existing, I cannot post a link right now. Google "wireless phone charging".
Take a look at that instructables.com/id/Add-Wireless-Charging-to-Your-Smartphone/?ALLSTEPS
Edit: I'm sorry, my phone acts on its own in my pants. Carry on!
I just bought a Lindy mhl 3 adapter from amazon and plugged into my 4k tv using hdmi 2 cable and I only get 1080.
No settings to change it,
Anyone else tried this?
1080 is the limit

Hi
I purchased some wireless charging system, which consists from wireless charger and receiver.

Mmm, seems you need an universal charger receiver add-on like:
- Option 1
or
- Option 2
or
- Option 3
Then, you can buy any Wireless charger available on the market.
