Hi,
i have noticed a strange problem with Mi4i and Skype! When making skype calls in a few mins the mic stops working! Then u need to unplug and re plug it to get few more mins to talk... This issue is only specific to skype as other apps like hangout and imo and facebook work fine!! Anyone has any clue what this issue is and how to solve it?

Hi, recently I flashed Onecosmic's ICS 4.0.3 RC3 on my galaxy s....now the problem is that whenever I receive a call the MIC DOES NOT WORK !!
While when i make a call it works perfectly.....its pissing me off....as i dont want to leave ICS because of this silly problem.....nyone with a solution????
(P.S: I have tried reflashing other ics roms...like that of teamhacksung...but the problem exists...its only solved when i get down to gingerbread.)

I also have this annoying problem that stops the basic function of the mobile phone. I also searched the net but did not find any fix for it also tried several ICS builds/version available on internet but all are having this problem of poort MIC audio while incoming call, perfectly working when doing outgoing call.
I discovered that just after receiving the call if you taggle the mute/unmute button then it works perfectly no matter how long your call can go - i check this on more than 30 min call.
Hope developer should rectify this issue as soon as possible.

need this sorting asap paranoid is the best rom i have used so far with this bug the onjly thing making this just short of awsome
I have a rooted stock HTC One S running 4.04.
I recently discovered an interesting problem. I've been using the Call Recorder app for a while now and it works great, but the other day I discovered that if i'm using wifi calling to make calls, my phone crashes and reboots. I disabled the Call Recorder app and it solved the problem. The other interesting part is enabling speaker solves the problem...so as soon as I place the call, if I hit the speaker button, the phone doesn't crash.
I haven't had the chance to try any other apps yet. And it's not really a big deal as i rarely use wifi calling. But I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to why this could be happening or if anyone else has experienced this.

I have used both voice recoder and google voice search with no problem.
Mic seems to be working properly however in Skype it comes out all static.
On Stock everything was fine.
Any advice on a fix?
can you test skype on your phone to see if its just me..

So.. I plugged my Headphones that include a Mic that i got with my phone into the audio jack and do another test.. and everything is clear.
This is stupid ..I wonder if anyone has a fix for this.
Think Any of the CM 10.1 Daily's have fixed this issue?
This is the main reason why I dont run CM10. I havent found a fix other then using a headset or bluetooth with skype. Once there is a fix I will sure return to CM10

I've been having these issues with the latest version of Skype for quite a while and I'm not sure what appears to be causing them. Whenever I have a video conversation on Skype, the video stream tends to stop after a certain period of time and the only solution I've found so far is to close Skype and relaunch it. Also, sometimes Skype rings for a couple of minutes until I'm able to successfully establish a connection with the person I'm trying to call. I don't know if it's because Skype hasn't been very well optimized for KitKat version 4.4.2, but I suspect the camera mod that I have might be causing this. Do you think this is possible? Or do you have any other ideas?

People tells they can't hear me , as if I was talking under water ...
If someones knows how to fix it.. tell me.
Two new updates came since this problem appeared, but they didn't fix it.
Sometimes restarting my phone fix temporarily the bug, sometimes not

I had the same issue after the update.. But this solved my problem
Turn off the okay Google detection in the Google app by going into the settings of Google app.
This was the simple solution for me and it worked for me. May be it will also work for you..

Hello I am also facing this problem voice is not clear on phone calls but WhatsApp n other app works well for call. I really don't understand weather opo has done something to solve this problem. Can we get fix soon.
