Please install latest Samsung drivers! Another way to get Samsung drivers is to install Samsung kies but uninstall it prior to flash anything, otherwise nothing won't work

I meant that the issue you've stated in your post is related a driver problem! By now uninstall deeply any Samsung drivers, So Google for Samsung drivers, download the latest and install them. After that try flashing again

Hi everyone !
Since i passed from Android 2.3.4 gingerbread to android 4.0.4 ICS ... Odin can't detect my phone anymore although it did before the update ! even in normal mode . not in Download mode , the PC can't recognize it anymore , i tried it on 2 PCs in download mode assuring that USB debogaging was on but nothing ....
I'm not on CM9 stable , so is there a special driver that i need to install ?

Besides samsung kies, you should also uninstall and reinstall the correct drivers from the samsung website. Also sometimes something as simple as getting a new usb cable will fix this probem. Sounds kinda dumb but ive had samsung phones that work with one cable and are not recognized by another.

I've had that cable problem too, it was due to a cheapo "charge only" USB cable that came with a free charger... lesson learned!
[Solved] Odin doesn't detect your phone. Drivers error. Blah Blah...
Folks!
Your phone BRICKED???
ODIN Doesn't detect your phone???
Shows Driver Error Code 37???
Stuck in bootloop???
Well Well!
Everything is fine.
Don't just try all the solutions online.
The problem is installation of samsung drivers over and over again is replacing the existing drivers instead of wiping them out. So, the drivers have become incompatible with your device and as well as ODIN.
The solution is very simple.
Just reinstall your operating system of pc, install drivers and then You will definitely find what the magic with the drivers.
Hope you found it helpful...
Hi,
the screen of my SGS2 is broken but I can start the device.
Samsung Kies showed it's locked and I couldn't access it.
Therefore I followed one of the recommendations in this forum:
1) Downloaded Odin
2) Downloaded Siyah-s2-v6.0b5.tar
3) Successfully flashed the device with Siyah
4) Now, I start CWM recovery console (UP-button+HOME-button+POWER-button). I see the device is connecting. No driver found.
And then I'm stuck.
Can someone with an SGS2 give me some instructions what exactly I need to press to bring the device inn USB MODE?
Thank you!

However when i plug it in normally ( not in download mode) it installs drivers fine and works normally. Can anyone help?

It is needed for Odin to communicate with your tablet. Yes it should.

You don't need Odin, see the second post of this thread for the Samsung USB driver.

I'm posting here because I cound't find my device on the forum...
The problem is: My device has a custom ROM installed but I don't know why after I rebooting it just keeps going to CWM Recovery... I've tried to reboot, install different room but it keeps going to CWM Recovery everytime.
So I've tried recovering through Odin, but my PC can't install USB Composite Device CDC driver... I've tried reinstalling Samsung Kies and Samsung Kies 3, rebooting the PC, Windows Update, installing drivers pack... Stills don't installing the driver...
I've tried to different PCs (Windows 7 x64 and Windows 8.1 x64)...
Someone could please help me with these drivers to recovery my phone?! :crying::crying::crying::crying:
I've tried a lot of suggetions provided on posts and discussions, but untill now I had no luck...

Look up on Google, GT-i8552b drivers and something should come up.
Hi! I'm new here...
Well, i was trying to get into a project with a Samsung Galaxy S II (GT-I 9100) as practice for some other project.
But, it looks like my PC does not support or can't connect with the phone.
I already try to download drivers, the specific driver for that phone,
a Samsung driver pack that they said that driver was there, but still no connection or a recognition of the device...
I really want to work with that phone an make it useful but I can't even start.
Is there any possible way to get the connection between a Win 10 PC and a Samsung Galaxy S II?

Try uninstalling the samsung drivers and install the obsolete software samsung kies. I think it's kies for s2.. At least that's what I used for note 2

Yes, I tried. It didn't work... but lemme do the Samsung kies and see if that works...
Thank you!
In fact, I encountered the same issue several years ago. But I finally worked out the issue with the steps as below.
1. Unplug the USB cable connecting PC to mobile device.
2. Uninstall the driver from Device Manager on Windows.
3. Run SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_ver_1.5.65.0.exe to install Samsung mobile phone driver.
4. Connect the phone to PC with an USB cable.
You can find the SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_ver_1.5.65.0.exe from Samsung official website. Please feel free to send a PM to me if you will not find it yet.
Good luck to you.

Installing kies should do it correctly, it is a known failsafe way of getting the drivers correct for these older devices.
You can uninstall the kies application after you get the device connecting correctly, during the uninstall process, you will be given a chance to choose the option to keep the Samsung drivers installed and just uninstall kies.
