Hi everyone !
Since i passed from Android 2.3.4 gingerbread to android 4.0.4 ICS ... Odin can't detect my phone anymore although it did before the update ! even in normal mode . not in Download mode , the PC can't recognize it anymore , i tried it on 2 PCs in download mode assuring that USB debogaging was on but nothing ....
I'm not on CM9 stable , so is there a special driver that i need to install ?

Besides samsung kies, you should also uninstall and reinstall the correct drivers from the samsung website. Also sometimes something as simple as getting a new usb cable will fix this probem. Sounds kinda dumb but ive had samsung phones that work with one cable and are not recognized by another.

I've had that cable problem too, it was due to a cheapo "charge only" USB cable that came with a free charger... lesson learned!
[Solved] Odin doesn't detect your phone. Drivers error. Blah Blah...
Folks!
Your phone BRICKED???
ODIN Doesn't detect your phone???
Shows Driver Error Code 37???
Stuck in bootloop???
Well Well!
Everything is fine.
Don't just try all the solutions online.
The problem is installation of samsung drivers over and over again is replacing the existing drivers instead of wiping them out. So, the drivers have become incompatible with your device and as well as ODIN.
The solution is very simple.
Just reinstall your operating system of pc, install drivers and then You will definitely find what the magic with the drivers.
Hope you found it helpful...

There's nothing to do with your phone. Go to your local Samsung website and download the latest kies software. It will be a little bit harshly and there will be blood.
When you plug your phone your usb suit will setup your drivers. By the way I'm talking for windows.

Hi guys. I have a problem since months and I couldn't find an answer. When my tablet is in download mode it 's not recognized by Odin (3.04 or 1.85). If I connect it in normal mode to my pc it works fine both with kies and pc. I tried to enable disable debug mode, enable disable mtp, I tried on several pc's with the same results. I am using the cable that came with the tablet. I have tried running odin without running kies. Please advise.
Try reinstalling the drivers if still nothing get mobile odin use that to root and flash roms

Make sure Kies isn't running at the same time as using odin too, there's a conflict between them. Which version of Odin are you using? Version 1.85 is what i use.

Didn't help. I tried with and without kies. I am using odin 1.85. I begin to think there is something wrong with my android version. My tablet isn't rooted.
can't think of much more to help you, apart from delete everything off the pc. Everything!
then follow this guide without installing kies - just the smsung usb drivers. all else failing ??? that sucks!

Hi..
my dad bought galaxy tab p6200 a year ago and now he gave it to me and its still on stock honeycomb, but when I check for update through settings it states that there is no update available but when I connect my tab to pc via USB it does not recognize it. Even after installing samsung drivers and kies it still does not recognize my tab..
Is there any other way to update my tab???? any help would be really helpful..

You won't see the update available unless it has been released in your area or by your carrier. However you can flash 4.1.2 official from above link by using odin.

I'll give that a try.. and thx
If it works can I directly flash JB over Honeycomb or I have to first flash ICS..
Yes you can flash direcetly to JB:good:
Mine also is finicky with being recognized. Make sure you're using official samsung cable, and plug into a rear usb port. Are you putting the tab into download mode?

If you want your PC to recognize the Sammy, First remove uninstall KIES and all old and other vendors Android drivers. HTC especially will interfere with the SAMSUNG. Make sure NOT to attach your tablet yet. Then install the latest KIES or Samsung USB drivers. After rebooting, then attach the Sammy Tablet and don;t touch anything until your PC is finished updating the drivers and your tab appears as a media device.

I installed windows on a spare hard disk yesterday and installed only kies after that still it does not recognizes.... I think it's my Sammy's hardware issue...
When i plug my p3100 into laptop in download mode the laptop starts to search for and install drivers. It installs one succesfully but then the next one fails and odin doesnt recognize the device. However when i plug it in normally ( not in download mode) it installs drivers fine and works normally. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

It is needed for Odin to communicate with your tablet. Yes it should.

I'm posting here because I cound't find my device on the forum...

I've tried to different PCs (Windows 7 x64 and Windows 8.1 x64)...
Someone could please help me with these drivers to recovery my phone?! :crying::crying::crying::crying:
I've tried a lot of suggetions provided on posts and discussions, but untill now I had no luck...
