i recently updated my xperia x10 mini pro to nAa kernel and ICE Cream Sandwich Rom. the Rom is brilliant and everything is working fine. but the numpad or the blue hardware shift key of the physical keyboard ain't working. which makes me unable to use the numbers or the symbols. please help how to solve this problem.i hv the keyboard led problem solved and dual touch unlocked too. pls help how to solve dis problem of shift key not working.

Allesand developed HotFix for this if u use CM9 / cm10 or probably other, close to cyanogenmod, ROM on ICS/JB.
U need to download and literally follow procedure described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2094572
1. Download zip - keyboard and fix
2. Download qwerty-en (I assume u have qwerty-en keyboard type, if not - choose other) layout from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2094572
3. Puth both fokkers to the SD
4. Reboot into recovery
5. install from zip - kb & fix first, layout 2nd
6. Reboot to normal
7. Go to Settings->Kb & lang -> have the Default And Xperia marked both, HW keyboard leave as default (watch closely pics in link no 1)
8. set ur lang
9. Go to Apps -> KM Launcher - set it up according to screenshots from first link, if not working do some rebooting (remeber to grant SU rights)
10. Reboot, if needed until u make sure all KM Launcher settings are well working
11. Try it out...

In the branded ringtone sms/mms and normal Notifications,build prop ro.config.ringtone/notifications etc was in build prop twice , once in alcetel orignal and once in virgin added bit,so just delete One sets of build prop lines and u can set ringtone and sms mms notifications sounds ,just heads up peeps and if any can help point to a ics or jb Rom for 4010x makes me well happy

Hi Thanks for the post.
Noo-be here, I have the same device and I rooted it by a chinese tool via USB.
However, after installing mobile uncle.apk v1.3 (via file) after rooting ; i am not able to flash a recovery image (CWM) into the boot-rom for the bootloader trigger.
I have not sim-unlocked the phone yet - would that be causing a ROM lock for CWM image install ?.
Anyone could help. I will post somewhere else too - as there are few threads hanging around, Thanks

I have found the specific custom rom for this particular phone.
I may add that it is super fast...
INSTALLING XPERIA Z MOD FOR ALCATEL T’POP
Now that you have a rooted phone and CWM recovery installed lets
play with custom roms. To install a custom rom is simple but
sometime things can go wrong. First you have to save your current
rom. Switch off your phone and Press the Volume Up and Power
button to enter recover mode. Select Backup and Restore, then Backup
and wait for CWM to backup your current ROM which can be used to
restore your phone to an earlier state.
Download the Xperia Z custom rom for Alcatel T’pop from here (pm for link...i am not allowed to post links) Alcatel Custom Rom .
Extract the RAR archive which contains XPERIA ROM MOD BY VIKTOR
DOMINGUEZ.zip and a Folder named RESTORE containing other files.
Create a Folder with the name clockworkmod in root of your sd card if
its not yet available. Open the folder and create another named
backup.
Copy the Restore folder you extracted to clockworkmod>backup.
Copy XPERIA ROM MOD BY VIKTOR DOMINGUEZ.zip to the root of
your sd card, do not extract the zip file.
Installation
Switch off your phone.
Press volume up and power buttons at the same time until you enter
recovery mode.
Do the following first -Wipe data/factory reset -Wipe cache partition if
any
Select the option INSTALL ZIP FROM SDCARD. Select XPERIA ROM MOD
BY VIKTOR DOMINGUEZ.zip.
Install the zip
When complete select go back until you find the option BACKUP AND
RESTORE.
Select Restore and select Restore/ .Wait until the operation is complete
and reboot your system.

As I hv posted earlier also, the second sim card slot of my mobile is damaged so I couldn't able to check whether 3g is working on both the sim or not. pls check it by urself and post it.
U can surely try flashing of the ROM on ur device. If u found any difficulty, u can contact me.
Take backup of ur ROM before flashing.

3g on sim 1 only and GPS not getting lock, Ram management is on little high side but no lags what so over. I am missing CRT off in this ROM and I think gravity box will not work on this(have not try it yet) and I have not tried viper4android as well.

For signal change ur modem.img from ur stock rom to this rom under firmware folder then I think it will solve ur problem....

Try build.prop tweaks for signals. that might help u. Check ur stock build.prop and compare it with the ROM's.
requirements:
Firmware compilation: 15.3.A.1.14 - C2104 4.2.2 (rom stock)
Clear data and force stop in the contacts application and calls
installation:
Unzip the file and place it in the / system permissions have to be the same file that will replace
Reset your xperia normally
in the first two calls maybe even your xperia this error in the sensor so just be patient for the changes to be well applied to the sensor and operate normally
so simple is to repair the sensor C2104 xperia L
not needed for some other mod
There is also related bugs like if we give any number input during calls, we cant see the numbers..; after disconnection of calls sometimes touch issues and it will start working working normally only after screen off and ON.
Whether this fix is just for sensor bug or all the above??

Very nice rom, i flash stock rom first, then instal CWM, and install this rom with CWM and everything is working fine No dialer bugs/force close or other bugs
some questions:
1) does the ROM support BT 4.0?
2) support for both sim Cards?

hey the rom looks good and every feature is good but i found some bugs, please solve:-IMPORTANT=IMP
1)After flashing this rom on stock rom i got red coloured {!} exclamatory on rebooting my phone.[IMP]
2)I dont have s-finder and quick connect buttons on my status bar as shown in ur screenshots.[IMP]
3)The phone force closes my games and switches off when i play a game above 50mb sometimes.(EVEN IF THE BATTERY IS 100%)[NOT IMP]
There were no other bugs according to me. The reason i need sfinder button is so that people recognize that i have s6 rom .
I DID EVERYTHING AS YOU SAID PLEASE SOLVE THESE BUGS AND DONT IGNORE

1. I think RED EXCLAMATION MARK is normal when you install custom recovery and custom rom.
2. The S-FINDER and QUICK CONNECT buttons is not you saw in screenshot.
That buttons you saw in screenshots is sim buttons (first sim and second sim), more precisely, name of the networks and only showing when you have 2 sims in mobile.
Just like in stock rom, look: http://s16.postimg.org/m65cyreqt/stock.jpg but only themed.
3. About the games, i don't know, i very rarely play games.

Hi there,
I have tried this ROM
My phone S duos 2 (India)
Base band version S7582DDUAMK1
Previously having Almamun Extreme lollipop, very very good rom except nasty, buggy and useless walkman player. So i tried this S6 rom.
Coming to this S6 rom and next version too, i followed all the steps and installed the rom.
Phone dialer pad, Music player, gallery crashes and are not getting opened showing error ''unfortunately stopped working''> flashed it very carefully but it shows the same message.
So i went to try Milktea rom. hmm.. but the developer is saying us to install fx, greenify, wanam exposed modular and all others.
So went with the ''Custom Rom For Samsung S Duos 2 GT S7582 Lolipop Extreme V2 (Updated 25/3/15)'' by Almamun,
very very good rom with original samsung music player (best i can say) and included all the above softwares in the rom itself
memory management, battery, calls, network,wifi bluetooth.. everything are working pretty fine.
All are working very good but you have to read all pages in that link and especially 3rd page ''Important'' message from developer before installing the rom.
