So I've been trying to install a MM rom for some time now, and 2 days ago, the screen started to not answer properly, touching left would touch right and the other way arround. I've seen a lot of thread saying to type *#2663# in the dialer to update the touch firmware but i get "connection problem or invalid MMI code". I've tried to fix that too, people we're saying to reboot, do a factory reset, check that the good network is there. No luck.. I've also tried to install stock back, but I was getting another error in Odin. I think I tried everything.. I really need your help now.. If someone can help me, please say it in the chat.
My phone is a Canadian Bell Galaxy s6: SM-G920W8
Right now the model number in the phone is SM-G925K but I'm pretty sure it was W8 variant..

my samsung captivate has recently begin to be screwy...
i went to a cell phone repair shop and told them i got the screen saying
"User fault, not kernal panic", and they told me it was a kernal glitch..they also told me to update to the newest software for the phone (which im not sure which one it is or where to find it)
Also i cant open any apps, when i try to i get an error message from the app..i also cant receive text messages either..
ive tried factory reset, and reflashing the same firmware (enclair 2.1) with odin, and still no change....
im freaking out, ccan someone help me fix this!!??
If you reflashed then it sounds like hardware issues.
Hey guys i recently flashed my phone with TurkoCFW V6 and now am having a problem calling. Every time I try to call it says "Call not allowed". I saw other people posted the same issue but no one replied with a fix. I even flashed my phone with a different firmware after the problem happened and it hasn't helped. I have previously flashed my phone over 25 times with no problems so I have no idea what to do. Has anybody found a fix for this? Cause I mean a cellphone is pretty useless without calls...
I spoke to Hero355 and he gave a file to fix it with which worked but somehow only works with his firmware. I tried flashing with an official firmware and the problem persisted after which I tried flashing the firmware with his fix which just messed up the phone even more. I mean it works with his firmware but his firmware only.
I do not understand how this problem persists after reflashing if its wiping everything and reinstalling everything...
So I want to switch firmwares but cant because of this problem.

Hey guys I have an issue with a galaxy note I717 from AT&T, i just bought it from a friend of mine who reset to factory defaut settings and out of nothing the phone lost the IMEI, baseband and newtwork. it says it is unknown. besides that the phone kept reestarting every 2 min maximun, it would boot up to the main screen and give me enough time to check the settings, then it would reboot. I was looking for different roms arround the site and tried several differents, no matter witch one I used the phone will always reboot. I tried restoring to the GB aT&T stock rom, same thing, the only Rom to seem that fixed the reboot issue was a ICS stock room that is supposed to unbrick the galaxy, the phone stays on and everything but it still says no IME no basend no IMEI SV.
just to let you know I have tried several different modems, nothing works.
I am just wondering if you guys have any idea why the phone will only work with that ICS stock room and no otherone? and any possible fix to the IMEI?

I am a Chinese, so my English is not good, but I have a problem right now. I got a prototype g955u 20 days ago, when I got the phone, I can use it to make phone call with GSM or CDMA, but the system runs very slowly, then I tried to flash the newest Rom, maybe the Odin version is not right,it crashed,and can't make it couldn't into the downloading ,then I got help from taobao, and restore the imei ,and then I 've tried any Rom I can flash,but every time i try to make phone call , it shows "can't register on line "like this,then I input *#0011# I found the final one check fail,but I have restore the imei,and it is right now,I think maybe the kernel is not right, it was a test kernel,i 've been trying to figure this out for days, so anyone can help me,now i have no idea.
Soooooo..... Here I am again with a friend's s6. he wanted a custom rom, and knox was already tripped so why not.
flashed twrp in odin, flashed frankenstein rom, everything was normal, rebooted, touch inverted. I remembered I had this problem a few years back and eventually fixed it, found two of my old threads and tried some of the stuff the threads talked about, like dialing *#2663# to update the touch panel firmware.
well I tried it again and got an error, something like could not find, invalid mmi. I searched google and xda some more and found advice to go back to stock, so I dl RWC firmware (I'm pretty sure, otherwise its on XEF or XAF multi csc for some reason) from samfirm and flash with odin. I reboot to a bajillion FC, more research, factory reset, ok it works now, go to phone app, USSD code still not found :S
I am so confused by all these variants, and CSC codes, and strange behaviours, and also dl mode + odin, adb+fastboot in bootloader any day ahaha.

EDIT: oh, it worked on stock this time... okay nevermind, but before I apologize and shamefully ask a mod to close this thread, if I try flashing the frankenstein nougat rom again and the touch axis gets inverted, is there some other way to get the correct touch panel firmware if the USSD code doesnt work in that rom? (I tried samsung info, no go)
