I searched xda forums (maybe I should search nvidia forums) but I have an annoying problem. I sometimes hook the shield up to my tv and play games using my bluetooth moga controller. Before the audio would play through my TV, but ever since marshmallow update there is no sound, if I connect my bluetooth headphones they work, or if I plug in speakers to the 3.5 audio jack, anyone else having this problem?
I have the original shield tablet rooted, no custom roms

When I am connected to my car stereo with Bluetooth and play a video through Internet Explorer, the sound is coming through my phone's speakers, and not the car stereo.
When I play music, it goes through the car stereo with no issues.
I am using an LG Quantum and I have received the official Mango update. My car stereo is a Pioneer 7000BT.
Is there a setting that will make the sound from video played through IE go through a bluetooth headset?
I have searched all the windows 7 forums and have not found this question.
Things searched for: A2DP Video, Bluetooth video, Sound Video, and probably a few other things.
I thought I had read, a few weeks ago, that this was a problem, but Mango would fix it. No idea where I read that though.
I have found this link which indicates that it is a real problem, but I have not seen a solution anywhere.

Hey guys,
I bought a particular bluetooth control. It's little clip looking like an iPod shuffle. It's this here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300590078906#ht_3349wt_1396
I only want to use the hardware buttons (Play/Pause, next/last title and volume up/down), but as I connect my smartphone via bluetooth, my device recognizes the bluetooth controller as an headset and all the music goes over the plug on the controller. That wouldn't be that bad, if the audio plug of the controller wouldn't be so crappy.
Now I am searching for a way to make my smartphone allways play media over the audio plug on the hardware itself and NOT over bluetooth accessory. Do you know an app or something where I can control this?
I can't find any bluetooth settings for this. :/
My device is a "Sony Ericsson Xperia Play" (R800i), Android 2.3.7 (CyanogenMod-7.2.0)
Best regards,
AltFFear
no solution for me?
Does anyone else experience bluetooth audio lag or delay? When my n5 is paired to my car (2010 Mazda 3), my music doesn't play through my speakers until about 3 seconds later. Audio for movies and videos and games are the same way, so they're out of sync. If I run the Audio Router app (forces audio to be played thru mono "headset mode" [not sure if that's what that's called]) then the lag/delay disappears and everything is fine, except that the audio is now playing at the lower headset bitrate and is mono.
So far, my car is the only thing I have to pair my phone with so I don't know if it's the car or the phone. But, I've only experienced this problem on 4.4 roms. 4.2 was fine, no audio lag at all. Every single 4.4 rom I've used has this problem (cm, aokp, pa, slim, pac, and stock).
The only patch I can think of for movies is to find a player that can allow me to offset the audio (like VLC on Windows does), but I haven't found one that supports that.
Any ideas?

It is an issue with the link to your car. I get the same thing between all my Android devices and one particular Bluetooth device, my context is different using Chromecast to see on TV the picture but hear on bluetooth off my handset the audio, I've tried N4, N7 2012, N7 2013, N10. The only fix in my context is HDMI off the N10 (so in N5 it would be Slimport) and bluetooth off the handset.
For your car, does it have a Tape casette player old tech? They used to have an audio-male to casette adaptors, or an audio socket at all, then just male-male cable to the N5?
Hey I heard with lollipop we would have USB audio. When I connect my nexus 5 to my car through a USB cable and play some music it doesn't play from the car speakers. Whereas an iPhone was able to play music. Any help on how to make it work would be appreciated.
Probably your car audio needs a software upgrade to work with Android devices/L's USB DAC support.
Your car is looking for a file system, android USB audio is providing stream not a file system so this probably wont work unless the deck can emulate a small sound card or something to accept the input.
Hey Guys,
I recently got a new pair of headphones for Christmas. The Sony Wireless Headset 2.0 and it works amazingly with my PS4.
I was wondering if anybody knew how I could pair these headphones up with my Ascend Mate 7. The headphones connect to the ps4 wirelessly via a USB dongle. I have an OTG cable and plugging the dongle into my phone does power on the dongle as the lights come on. However no audio is passed to the headset.
Using the trial version of the following app: USB Audio Player PRO
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.extreamsd.usbaudioplayerpro
Allowed me to listen to music over my headphones but only to audio from this music player. So I know that it is possible to receive sound over the earphones via OTG, but I want to be able to use my headphones for gaming too. So I need to find a way to channel all sound out to the headphones.
Thanks in advance
