I'm just taking a wild guess, the stock Mi charger is QuickCharge 2.0 certified...

Nope, NO Quick Charge 2.0 . Our phone sports quick charge 1.0. Well i get a full battery in 2hrs and 12min . But Phones with quick charge 2.0 charge very fast i have seen nexus 6p charge in 1hr!

probably we need to use latest caf .....

[Q] Best charger for Quick Charge 2.0?

What type of charger would I need to take full advantage of Quick Charge 2.0? & I also read somewhere that it can support even higher than 1.67a chargers? Would that mean it would charge even faster than a 1.67a if I got for instance a 1.97a charger?
Also is there any downsides to using this or benefits I should be aware of before going through with this?
Links to any recommended chargers would be appreciated as I'm very lazy lately LOL (or just a name & site), thanks ahead of time!
Edit: did a LITTLE searching and found this: http://www.amazon.com/PCD-CNR71-Charger-EADP-15ZB-79H00107/dp/B009AXZ2S8 . Will that do the job? & if so is it the best I can get for my phone?

No, that Amazon charger won't charge much faster than the original charger that came with the phone. I don't believe there are any quick charge 2.0 compatible chargers available yet. HTC said they will release one later this year. The charger has to have specific circuitry to support quick charge 2.0. I use a 2A charger that came with my Galaxy S4, but it does not support quick charge 2.0. You will just have to wait until a supported charger is released.

Quick charge 2.0 vs fast charge

I know the gs6 doesn't have a Qualcomm chip in it, so doesn't support official quick charge 2.0, but do we have any info about the fast charging it does support?? I'm looking for a fast charger for the car, but only see quick charge 2.0 chargers. Are they cross compatible?? Any suggestions for fast car charging with the gs6??

I'm a little late to this thread but had the same question. Here's what I found (http://www.gsmarena.com/charge_test-review-1239p2.php). I haven't had a chance to test this out yet, I got my mother-in-law and wife both new GS6's and I have a Nexus 6. I have a Puregear Quick Charge 2.0 car charger (http://www.shopandroid.com/puregear-24a-extreme-usb-car-charger/5A255A20438.htm) that I'm going to test on one of their phones (hopefully tomorrow sometime). I can update my post after I do, but if the article I first linked is correct (and it seems like it should be, makes perfect sense) then the chargers should be cross compatible.
I've seen reviews from android central, and its compatible with quick charge 2.0. I actually have one on the way now.
Honestly I do not see any difference between quick charge and fast charge. My n6 used to heat up real quick and high, the s6 doesnt heat up that much. Other than that, the time it takes is almost the same.

Mi4i charger

Mi4i features fast charging. Can you suggest a better charger than 5v-2a charger?
Apple iPhone charger shows up as a fast charger for me.
fast charging is supported but the charger in the box is a normal one. (5v2a)
can anyone try out with the proper fastcharge2.0? (9v1.2a)
Donnt have one...would definitely love to get the feedback from someone who tested it first hand!
how do you see it 'shows up' as a fast charger?
are there any indication?

50. Does my Mi4i have Quick Charge feature? If yes, then which version does it support?
A: The Mi4i has Quick Charge 1.0, which explains the slow charging rate some users have been complaining about. The Mi4i takes roughly 2 hours 30 minutes to fully charge for me

And FYI, http://www.gsmarena.com/charge_test-review-1239p2.php
Quick Charge 1.0 was introduced in 2012 and it made use of a 5V/2A charger, which could charge a phone up to 40% faster than conventional 5V, 1A chargers. That boost accounts for a 10W max charging power.

Thus the original 2A charger that comes with phone is the fastest charger supported.

Xiaomi Mi 4c Charging Analysis Part-2
I just bought Tronsmart TS-WC1Q and I must confirm almost the same results as with original Xiaomi charger for Mi4i. Charging current with Tronsmart charger is about 1,44A and voltage is stable about 5,2V. I'm not sure, if I can determine from these results, if its support QC 1.0 or 2.0. Next time I will try to measure the time from 0->40% of battery and compare original and Tronsmart charger. Anyway I think it matters also on the ROM/kernel you are currently using. I'm on RESURRECTION REMIX with Sensei kernel v1.3.2-dev kernel.
I m on cm13, it looks like qc2.0 is supported. I used a China charger (9v1.2a). It charged fully charged up from 0 to 100% in 1hr and 40 min.
i have tried
i have tried qualcomm's fast charging 2 it works well.
How fast is Mi 4i supposed to be? I've bought orico quick charger 2.0 and it does about 1.5 hr to be fully charged. Do I need to install something to make it faster?

is LG G Pro 2 support fast charge&Qualcomm Quick Charge ?

just i wondering if D838 support Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 ?
Qualcomm said any device have Qualcomm 800 or above support Quick Charge 2.0
i got Battery Extender zerolemon 9500 mah and i got also charger support Quick Charge 2.0
But I think that the phone does not support Quick Charge 2.0 as the charge speed of a normal or slightly higher
so is there kernel for d838 support Quick Charge 2.0 or fast charge ?

Does Oppo A3S support Qualcomm quick charge 3.0?
