Has anyone got images of the full glass screen and the middle covered glass screens on the actual phone yet?

I bought one Yootech glass screen protector for my Nexus 5X,but there is one air bubble. So I try another brand, looks great and feels good.

I used the Yootech for G4 and it's pretty great, hopefully this one works well too

Has anyone recieved one of these yet that has the top bit of the phone covered as well? I'm wondering how it interacts with the curve at the top. Thanks.

I've ordered a coscod for me and the wife that has the full coverage with the curved top.. They not cheap, so we'll see how it works out. I'll be getting it in tomm..

i wonder what will happen to the bottom, uncovered by the glass, battery part.
thick plastic housing over metal will definitely be sratched badly in first month of use.

They were on Shark Tank a couple years back

I'm returning an item just like this (different vendor) as the adhesive is just around the borders and top.
The adhesive is weak and in my case it was not aligned properly to the "glass" so you could see it covering some parts of the screen.
The middle have no adhesive whatsoever and it does not make contact with the phone screen. This causes the protector to flex and each tap/touch on the screen feels like using an old phone with plastic screen.
One last thing: it is a fingerprint magnet and very reflective.

Dang, that sucks. I'll definitely be needing tempered glass, and this is one reason I'm leaning toward the G5—Edge owners are having a devil of a time finding a good one for themselves.

Please post pics of the Yootech.
I'd be really surprised if there's a tempered glass protector that is already correctly designed for the curve at the top. As in, Will it stay stuck? In the past whenever I've had a curved glass phone it's usually months after its release when a company finally designs a true curved TGSP. I hope I'm wrong because I have a Yootech on the V10 and it's great! (Them not making one for the S7 yet might be a sign as to why this was pulled from Amazon).
I settled for a cheap square one for now [Omoton on Amazon].

It is too expensive in my opinion.Less than $10 is OK.

I'm cautious of anything that claims to cover curved glass. This is just based off of my past purchases.

[REVIEW] Halo Premium Anti-Glare/Matte Screen Protector

Promised to do a review on this screen protector, so paulo this one's for you. Haha. Well I've had this screen protector on for about 4 weeks now, and I absolutely love it. I would definitely recommend it, especially for those on a budget. A $5.95 well spent.
Pros:
Dry application
Precise cut outs
Great touch responsiveness (Swyping with this bad boy is a breeze.)
No fingerprints
No smudges
Better visibility in sunlight
Looks sexy lol
Cons:
Took me 2 out of the 3 protectors to get it on right, or without bubbles. Maybe I'm just not good at that.
Screen quality degradation (This is expected with a anti-glare/matte screen protector. There is some pixelation, which is really noticeable on white backgrounds.)
You can but it HERE.
Pictures that took me forever.

Thanks for the review. I already ordered mine and just wanted to check out some more images of it. Out of curiosity, what case are you using? Also is there a notice gap between the protector and the lip of the case? The first few images make it seem like it, but the rest make the gap appear small.

I'm guessing you are taking about the difference between this picture of the screen protector:
vs
Well there are two reasons.
1. I didn't apply the screen protector perfectly. You can also see the little bubbles created by dust left on the screen. So I took it off, and tried again.
2. Two different cases. I doubt this affects it, however, considering I switch the cases out per week and the gap between the screen protector and the case doesn't increase or shrink.
I have two cases. The white one the Mercury TPU Nexus 4 case(comes in many different colors), and the black one is the Acase Superleggera Pro Hybrid dual layer Nexus 4 case(also comes in different assortments).
I'm also using this screen protector and I love it too, great price ya can't go wrong with these. ????

I bought this screen protector 3 months ago but never used it, as it looks like a hassle to apply if it takes going through most of them to get one that is applied properly. I just kept the stock plastic protector on mine; maybe after that gets destroyed I will give it a try.

its pretty simple just be quick, and i would day do it in the restroom, less dust in the air. always works for me.
I've installed countless screen protectors for me and friends. For the wet ones, you definitely want to be in a steamy bathroom as that helps settle the dusts. The dry ones, need to be done quickly. You can slip a small piece of tape between the screen and the screen protector to grab some of the dust. The stickiness of the tape beats the static force created by the protector. Not sure of its technical name.
My silliest method was to put the phone in the middle, on top of a fan blowing air upwards. That way it created a space where dust will not be. It worked perfectly.

I mean, I guess there is. But to notice the bubbling you would have to nitpicking or looking in with a magnifying glass (not really). I'd say the bubbling on the side is about .25 cm from the edge. Really slight, and with my case on you can't notice it.

$5.99 Galaxy S4 Tempered Glass Screen Protector Thread

I am going to purchase a Tempered Glass Screen Protector. Did anyone use Tempered Glass Screen Protector before?
I found this Tempered Glass Screen Protector, I want to know whether you guys have even better recommendation before I order one.
Please show me a link and share yours. Will appreciate any help.
Please search before making a new thread. This thread will help you as far as where to order them. I have used zagg invisible shields for 3 years I really loved them but they seem to not last very long. So I switched to tempered glass. Couldn't be happier with it. And they're cheap for the most part.

i recently cracked that screen protector and ordered another from the same seller.. he must have a new batch, because these have a full cut out ear piece, camera, light sensor.. much nicer.. im tempted to order a few and stock up

Agree! Damn anti glare just makes the phone screen looks so grainy. So what if clear screen protectors has some fingerprints and reflection on it when the anti glare sp already just destroyed the whole image of the screen anyway.

fingerprints is the same with factory glass. The differences is; you can wipe your finger prints off with a piece of clothing vs having grainy screen

Looking for tempered glass screen protector.

The cases and film based screen protectors are starting to appear on Amazon but I haven't noticed any tempered glass screen protectors.
If anyone finds any (that will ship to Canada) please post the link. The Tab S will stay in the box until I get a screen protector. I may have to buy a cheap plastic one to hold me over.
I wonder if a Tab Pro 8.4 protector would work?
Thanks,
D

Believe it or not I have managed to do this in the past. I actually take the tablet out of the box but don't unwrap it. Lol I will usually turn the tablet on ... With the wrapper still on ... to check the screen for dead pixels but that's it. I ended up ordering a film based protector. It will hold me over.

My experience with these tempered glass protectors isn't good. For one if you bend the edge at all installing it it will never stick down property again. Also, with some time and wear the edges tend to lift up and once they do you can't stick it down again.
You are better off with just a standard screen protector.

For me it's the opposite. I have applied wet and dry film protectors and I find tempered glass is the best. After years of practice I am able to apply these glass protectors so they have no visual flaws. You couldn't tell there was a second layer on the tablet. Since these protectors are more expensive than the plastic film style and they don't come in multi packs, if you have never applied a screen protector, then I would practise first. But a package of cheap protector and get the feel for the application process.
Exact oppressor here as well. I love mine on the note 3
I'm waiting for a tempered glass to show up too (in canada).
Im using a plastic one until I get a glass one next month from china, i'm also promised one from samsung store once they receive them.
i've seen a few from yahoo.hk, but i'm sure they won't send internationally.
I got this one free from samsung store, the brand is A.R.M, it's a hong kong brand.
Quality is good, but I wish they cover the top of the ear piece, oh and these are not the china one's, all their plastic ones are made in japan.

It seems as though the trend for screen protectors has shifted towards a lazy cut where they just chunk out sections near buttons/speakers:

I think this is ugly and looks cheap.
I'm HOPING to find a tempered glass protector that doesn't have halo and isn't cut this way.
If not, I would prefer what I believe is PET (I just know that I don't like thermoplastic polyreuthane).
Normally, I would just end up going to eBay and looking at the cheapest ones on there which generally met my needs in the past, but are now all being cut like the above.
Has something changed recently that prevents manufacturers from having a more precise cut?
Can anyone help me find what I'm looking for?
It's weird, there's tons of properly cut ones for the edge but not the standard S6. I found a couple though.

Is it odd that all these protectors are being cut this way or am I the odd one for caring?
Try these, not glass but almost perfect fit and good price, I would have put a link but i am not allowed to not having enough posts yet anyway its on amazon UK Anker® High Definition (HD) Screen Protector. the other option is the tempered glass screen protector from Remax with the thin black, white or gold line around the outside. Nope I'm the same. I also wanted a screen protector that would cover all the metal and I don't understand why they're not cut to cover all around the speaker and lens. At the moment, I've got a cheap protector on. It still means that the top area of metal is exposed to potential scratching.
Another, eBay item no 331539692284 from China.

I am the same as well. I got spoiled with my OPO and my tempered glass protector only had a cutout for the speaker. It looked very much like nothing was there. I am not a fan of these glass cut's where they have these giant ass cutouts at the top and bottom. I know you can close it out the manufacturers just don't because it requires much more precision I guess.

I also think that the screens of the devices also require some sort of attention; there needs to be special cutouts so the protector can lay properly. I'm not sure how it works, but you are most definitely correct. I know that with the iphone 6, my wife had difficulty getting one that would lay right; mostly because of the curved edges of that phone.

Great stuff Do report back with your findings, like if it's easy to fit, does it stick down or stay stuck down all the way to the edges, and does it cover both screen side edges completely. These seem to be the criteria that people often complain about. If so, I'll get one myself.

Here you go:

You might want to consider another protector though.
I asked the person who bought it if it's any good and he said "It stays down but the sticky adhesive doesn't go to the edge so has caught dust unfortunately. I'd probably give it a miss though the cutout is perfect fit.. Shame really"
Moshi tempered glass protectors are the only things I'd use on my phones. For iPhone 6, Galaxy S6, Note 4, etc, they're always edge-to-edge with professionally-looking cutouts. These are sold at AT&T corporate stores.

Yes you dont want it, it also broke on the edge for some reason... clearly just very cheap. On the hunt for another it seems, maybe ill go for the Nillkin CP+
I need one too

Tempered glass

Anyone know of a Tempered Glass protector that goes reasonably close to the edges? I have this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017D763IK/ and it is terrible. Bunch of space around the edges and halo effect.
You won't find any that goes to the edge per the curve
But I've been using this for a few weeks and it has minimal halo effect (possibly none had I aligned it perfectly)

I ordered these and they fit great. They fit just to the edge of the display panel which is how it should be or else there will be halo because the glass starts to curve after that.

I ordered the Skinomi one. Should have it before the weekend. The pics in the link look like they managed to cover it properly. Will post my thoughts on it when it arrives.

It doesn't. Rep from Skinomi said they still have a 2mm gap.

Did you find one that covers the entire screen?
Not a glass one, I ordered one of skinomis full tech skin. They cover the entire screen.

Buy a nilkin 9 h+. It's as close to the edges as you'll get on the screen, and it has a 2.5D edge, making it smooth. No complains with my tempered glass as I knew this would happen with a 2.5D glass phone.

Any pictures? I had the Nexus 5x and 6p and I thought those were both 2.5d as well? Never had this issue.

Those were not 2.5D. IPhone 6 onwards is, and it uses smaller screen protectors too due to the curves at the edges of the screen. Even galaxy edge products. Nothing can't be done about that as the glue won't stick on curved glass. I wouldn't call it an "issue". It's very basic imo.
I'll try adding pictures, but you can also check them out on the nillkin website. Those are very accurate. The actual product is exactly like that portrayed on the website.

The Nilkin 9h+ Glass is not so good. I have Holo on my A9.

Here Pictures from the iProtect tempered Glass for HTC One A9. No Airbubbles under the sides but the Glass is to small. The Glass is smaller than the Display.

This is probably as good as it'll get b/c of the curved glass
I just bought two of the Mr. Shield tempered glass protectors for me and the wife's phones. It goes all the way to the edge of the (very) small black borders of the display. No air bubbles, and very easy to apply. Cost 8 dollars each and came in 2 days with Prime.
