Anyone know of a Tempered Glass protector that goes reasonably close to the edges? I have this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017D763IK/ and it is terrible. Bunch of space around the edges and halo effect.
You won't find any that goes to the edge per the curve
But I've been using this for a few weeks and it has minimal halo effect (possibly none had I aligned it perfectly)

I ordered these and they fit great. They fit just to the edge of the display panel which is how it should be or else there will be halo because the glass starts to curve after that.

I ordered the Skinomi one. Should have it before the weekend. The pics in the link look like they managed to cover it properly. Will post my thoughts on it when it arrives.

Buy a nilkin 9 h+. It's as close to the edges as you'll get on the screen, and it has a 2.5D edge, making it smooth. No complains with my tempered glass as I knew this would happen with a 2.5D glass phone.

Those were not 2.5D. IPhone 6 onwards is, and it uses smaller screen protectors too due to the curves at the edges of the screen. Even galaxy edge products. Nothing can't be done about that as the glue won't stick on curved glass. I wouldn't call it an "issue". It's very basic imo.
I'll try adding pictures, but you can also check them out on the nillkin website. Those are very accurate. The actual product is exactly like that portrayed on the website.

I just bought two of the Mr. Shield tempered glass protectors for me and the wife's phones. It goes all the way to the edge of the (very) small black borders of the display. No air bubbles, and very easy to apply. Cost 8 dollars each and came in 2 days with Prime.

Thanks, does this cover the full face or does it leave a bit of glass on the side uncovered? I have an NGP case that tends to lift the screen protector near the edges.
Its wet apply, so shouldn't lift.

Its almost too perfect you'll have to really space its edges right. If you get it too close to an edge on one side the case may lift it.

Bummer. I ordered 4 for $5 now I have little use for them. Will try shaving a mm off on a paper cutter if it does not work I will put them up for a giveaway. I loved how the Skinomi fit and looked but it did not play well with my incipio NGP
I use a full size skinomi with a seidio surface case and has no lift. I'll be trying the xguard soon.

My 4 arrived today. Surprisingly good quality for the price. I know I am gonna get flamed for this, but IMO this is a better screen than the Skinomi. My Incipio NGP does NOT lift the edges while the Skinomi was lifted within 5 minutes after replacing the case (yes I did allow the skin to sit overnight after installation). There are no bubbles whatsoever, the visibility in bright sunlight is excellent. It does have a bit of a sticky feeling to it and is thicker than the Skinomi, which may bother some. Coverage is over the entire glass, it is almost a bit too big, you have to be very careful how you place it. No installation instructions whatsover, the soapy solution, see the video on their webiste. I may order some more for my wife while they have the deal,
^My thoughts exactly. Almost too "perfect". I'm going to cut the bottom/top if its an issue when I put on the Seidio Surface case I just ordered.

Yup, I am going to have to cut mine too. The NGP lifted the edge of the protector today, so I guess it is not totally immune. I will have to find a paper cutter somewhere to get a straight edge.

I found this Tempered Glass Screen Protector, I want to know whether you guys have even better recommendation before I order one.
Please show me a link and share yours. Will appreciate any help.
Please search before making a new thread. This thread will help you as far as where to order them. I have used zagg invisible shields for 3 years I really loved them but they seem to not last very long. So I switched to tempered glass. Couldn't be happier with it. And they're cheap for the most part.

Yes, I've had screen protectors before but nothing compared to this. The cover is glass not the normal thin piece of plastic. I was worried it might diminish touch sensitivity but it did not. It also was much easier to install and is finger and face-print free!!!

Agree! Damn anti glare just makes the phone screen looks so grainy. So what if clear screen protectors has some fingerprints and reflection on it when the anti glare sp already just destroyed the whole image of the screen anyway.

fingerprints is the same with factory glass. The differences is; you can wipe your finger prints off with a piece of clothing vs having grainy screen

I'm returning an item just like this (different vendor) as the adhesive is just around the borders and top.
The adhesive is weak and in my case it was not aligned properly to the "glass" so you could see it covering some parts of the screen.
The middle have no adhesive whatsoever and it does not make contact with the phone screen. This causes the protector to flex and each tap/touch on the screen feels like using an old phone with plastic screen.
One last thing: it is a fingerprint magnet and very reflective.

Dang, that sucks. I'll definitely be needing tempered glass, and this is one reason I'm leaning toward the G5—Edge owners are having a devil of a time finding a good one for themselves.
Please post pics of the Yootech.
I'd be really surprised if there's a tempered glass protector that is already correctly designed for the curve at the top. As in, Will it stay stuck? In the past whenever I've had a curved glass phone it's usually months after its release when a company finally designs a true curved TGSP. I hope I'm wrong because I have a Yootech on the V10 and it's great! (Them not making one for the S7 yet might be a sign as to why this was pulled from Amazon).
I settled for a cheap square one for now [Omoton on Amazon].

It is too expensive in my opinion.Less than $10 is OK.
I'm cautious of anything that claims to cover curved glass. This is just based off of my past purchases.
Waiting for guinea pigs to test the waters first
Got a cheap glass screen protector online, once applied 4 edges don't stick properly like others, but it comes with a little brush and some kind of oil/adhesive once you brushed it the gap is gone. Final result looks pretty good, let's see how long it will last.

I saw that too. If it's like the Ozero ones I got for the HTC U11, there won't be any adhesive over the screen itself just along the black edges. However since there's is barely any bezel I wonder how they will do it. Keep us posted!

I ordered the Orzero and have glue only on the edges. Is working fine so far, and I didn't lose nothing in terms of display size.
EDIT. The screen protector started to coming loose today. The glue seems to start to become weak on the top part of the screen and is lifting badly. I will send an email to the vendor at Amazon for return.
Was working beautifully the first 2 days I don't know what happened.

Not sure if it'll work with this phone but on my PXL and the Supershieldz TGSP, I put 2 stacks of copy paper on it after I applied to apply pressure on the tgsp. It actually worked great and I didn't have a halo affect. However, the protector was nowhere near the edges. Shot in the dark but hey, wouldn't hurt to try. Nothing to use except the time u wont be able to use the phone when you have something heavy on it. Shouldn't have to worry about it breaking since it's ceramic. Lol I'm going to try that once I get my replacement w/ the Orzero 3pk. Will return it or just ask for a refund if it doesn't work.
Ok I got the updated Ozero installed and it's mostly nice. Fit wise it's perfect and their is zero halo. However, and it may be from as mentioned above with the adhesive only on the edges I have a chromatic aberration section right in the middle. Not sure if it will do down or maybe the glass or my phones glass is curved slightly. We'll see. But fit wise it's close to perfect. Plus you get 3 of them.
Sent from my PH-1 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
From my person experience any tgsp w/o adhesive on the actual display area will never look as nice as ones w/ the adhesive in that area. I have one such installed on my LG X Charge and while it works well, you know there's a space between the tgsp and the display. There is also the rainbow effect you get occasionally. I'm still definitely going to try the Ozero, as it's better than nothing! Lol

Yeah I'll try to get some posted tomorrow. So far it's great. Still have that chromatic middle section that is a little iritating but fit is perfect.

I'm seeing that issue too. It fits perfectly and feels really smooth too. Kinda sucks that I won't be able to keep it on because the chromatic aberration is annoying.

Yeah unfortunately it's inherent to these types of protectors where there's no adhesive over the screen. Hopefully someone will come out with a full cover like this but with adhesive on the screen. Lamshaw makes one for the HTC U11 and I love it.
I do have a question. Does the Orzero leave fingerprints like crazy? The Orzero I had for my U11 I swear had no oleophobic coating at all. It was awful.

So this one does have an oleophobic coating however it's not that great. It's definitely better and lesser of a fingerprint magnet than the ceramic back.

I really don't think it is bad with fingerprints. Pics. You can see the chromatic area in a couple of them. In certain lighting it's not noticable, others a lot though.

yup that's exactly how it looks like on my LG X Charge w/ the same type of tgsp. Again, it's better than being naked. Right now my replacement is naked w/ only a skin on the back. The Ozero isn't available until next week so unfortunately going to have to wait...

Oh did you try placing something heavy on it to flatten it as much as possible, that may help.
I remember a trick back in the old old Otterbox days where someone took a dab of baby powder on a cloth and wiped the inside of the screen protector with it and that prevented it from sticking to the screen causing the newton rings.
This is what I went with initially
Skin: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075B4BSS8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Screen: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075VMCN1J/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
My take on things, The screen protector is working great and comes with black borders so it's hard to mess up ad no halo effect. The skin on the back will do for now, fits perfectly but I really need Ringke Fusion case for this baby.
So what is your choice?
I went with the Phantom Skin. Lifetime replacement. It is only scratch protection, but I rarely drop my phone. It is, for all intents and purposes, invisible.
Dbrand skin and Ozero tempered glass.

Skinomi back, side, top and bottom skin + liquid screen protector
SopiGuard skin and Delta Shield screen protector.

Dbrand on the back for me, and that's it.
D brand dragon skin on the back, Orzero screen protector and occasionally Viva Madrid case.

This is a combo, screen protector + skin. I think you can just get the screen protector

I couldn't get the any of the pieces to stick to the titanium. Even wiped down with alcohol it just slid off.

Can you post a photo of the screen protector? I'm concerned on the bottom chin part of the phone. The Orzero looks like the corners are rounded while the PH-1 is not. The Orzero in the photo makes it look like a Galaxy which I hate.

It is actually nice, I wish it completely covered the screen without camera cut out.

I also don't want that camera cutout. Ozero is looking nice. The black area of the chin is not rounded at all. There is notable rainbow effect. I guess that's the only one owners are complaining about.

I think the rainbow is from my displays, ordered another screen protector to compare

Just coated my all phone. It's feel so slippery....reminds me oleophobic coating.
All around never bad idea for additional 9H protection+less finger prints, easy to clean + extremely shiny
@andril Is this one of those screen protectors with the black borders that does "full coverage"? Or is it smaller than the screen? Hard to see in the pics

It covers the whole screen, fully protected and camera cut out. A little smaller to case friendly.
