Weird battery stats & bootloop - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a weird battery drain. As you can see Phone dropped 90 from 100. Then an endless bootloop started. I wasn't able to get to fastboot, recovery. Phone was restarting over and over again. I tried pressing power+vol down button for 120 seconds, and almost everything. Anyway 12 hours later i plugged My Phone and now everything looks Fine. But i am sure that it will gonna happen again. Because its My 3rd or 4th time with this problem. Wiped cache, dalvik, factory reset, flashed stock rom 5.1. It happens again. Flashed marshmallow rom. Happens. Downgraded to kitkat via firmware method. Happens. I hope that someone could help me.

Powering off upon boot

I woke up to find my phone off, I knew the battery was charged so I turned it on, when the phone booted and got to the lock screen the powering off box popped up and it shut down. I tried multiple times to boot but every time the powering off box would pop up and the phone would shut off. So I booted into recovery and wiped the phone, that didn't fix it, the phone is still shutting down upon boot, does anyone have any suggestions?
Update: I have flashed the stock rom and wiped all the caches and its still shutting down once it gets to the lock screen. Its almost like the power button is stuck, but I'm able to navigate in recovery fine so I don't believe that's possible.
I followed the steps on how to unroot and reset the phone to completely stock and the problem still persists, anyone have any idea?

If you have flashed the factory images and so on and all of this still persist than it's RMA time.

[Q] Restart loop(not bootloop) - really weird

Hey lads,
I got a really weird problem and I've tried nearly everything I can think of. I had EMUI 2.3(b121sp06) and I tried the online OTA update to b307 if I remember right(was automatically suggesting the update) and at the update screen it loaded to about 99% and then stopped. Said not to press power while on this screen but obviously it wasn't going to finish. So I reset the phone and it started the "recovery loop", so basically keep trying to apply the update. I had to flash CWM to break out and flashed the whole system by hand(recovery, system, boot, cache, cust and userdata img files) and it starts up but it keeps resetting and seemingly it's random. Android boots up, I don't touch the phone--> boom reset. Weird thing is it even does it in recovery.
If I really want to explain the problem it's like as if my finger got stuck on the power button(that naturally made me think that the button might be f*cked), but booting into fastboot and not having resets cleared my suspicion. What I also noticed is that every time it boots up it doesn't recognize the sim card and I have no signal or whatsoever.
Tried multi tool unbricking method -> doesn't work
Tried factory reset from stock recovery(had to be fast so it doesn't reset before) ->doesn't work
Tried wiping dalvik cache and factory reset from CWM ->doesn't work
Tried killing battery by letting it keep resetting -> battery drained, reset loop stopped ->put the phone on charger->reset loop started again
I have no f*cking clue how can I get out of this, will keep trying though. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
Hi
Did you try to remove the Sd Card ? Honor 6 reboot is often due to faulty SD Card.
Which model do you have ? L04 ?
B307 upgrade sure ?
Seb
Yes, that was my first idea, still does it though. I have the L02 and I'm not positive it was b307, but it started with 3, could be b303 if there is one.
I don't know for L02 but for L04 there is a Full ROM that you can flash with the three buttons method. (Vol+,Vol-, power and put the ROM in /dload folder on the SD card).
Maybe there is such thing for L02 ?
There is, but as I said the phone restarts even in recovery. It's like the phone restarts every 30 secs except for fastboot.
if it's not SD card or internal flash problem so, it seems to be hardware related to me (
Would make sense but it occurred only after I tried OTA. Would be really surprised if that killed that hardware :-/

Unfortunately not, I'm out of ideas, trying to negotiate with the seller to sort something out, I think the phone is beyond saving
Same thing happened with me. Don't have any solution. Have you fixed it?

guys im facing the same problem now... waiting for any solutions
I have tried stop & uninstall some app
I've tried as quickly as I can when the phone (nokia x) is on, then I stop> uninstall I consider potentially cause this problem (facebook, whatsapp, uc browser) and then it managed to prevent the continuous restarts. but problems arise even though the application had me uninstall and then I restart the phone. and it is back again, I uninstalled the app that has remained with the error settings and restart repeatedly. who knows what else : '(

Did you follow the guide here?
Sent from my Honor 8 using XDA Labs
In the past my battery lost it's endurance pretty much. Furthermore I've read that a defective battery causes lots of weird behaviours on our Honor 6, which was the same to mine.
In my case a replacement of the battery worked well, to get my Honor 6 back to life:

It's not that difficult and lasts approx. 30-45 mins. Spare Batteries are available for 6 - 10 bucks on ebay or directly from the chinese internet stores.

It's really important that we use original chargers for the health of our device.

Android is starting... Optimizing apps x of y Bootloop? (Help plz)

So I'm running Sultan's CM 13 rom and my phone just randomly turned off while I was using it (on charge), and when it rebooted, it said that it was optimizing apps. I decided to leave the phone on charge and do something else, and when I come back, it restarts again and does the optimizing apps thing again. I can't even boot into safe mode either, if you were going to tell me to. I've tried wiping the Dalvik-Cache and Cache from TWRP, but nothing's happened.
Should I just factory reset my phone at this point?
Just try to clean flash Sultan CM13.

Phone Won' Boot (CM13/TWRP)

Dunno what happened, but couple days ago my phone powered off due to dead battery, and when I charged it up and turned it back on it didn't ever get passed the blue cyanogenmod logo. I was running a CM13 nightly from a few months ago. Couldn't power off. Tried holding volume buttons with power and could make it reboot but never boot. Eventually let the battery run flat, charged it up, then start into twrp, cleared cache and davlik cache. No change booting, let it run to flat again. This time I tried flashing the latest cm13 nightly in twrp, but still no change booting.
I don' t have any backup and would like to get my phone working again with the least amount of loss, but dunno any troubleshooting steps. Anything I could try before wiping data?
How long did you let it sit at the boot logo? Sometimes the first boot can take an exceedingly long time; a fsck process running I believe was the holdup typically.
Without a backup, there's not a lot else you can do if you don't want to wipe data.

I let it run til the battery was flat from full charge. Hours and hours. In fact don't know any other way to turn it off when it won't boot anyway.
So I wiped data 20 mins ago, and hasn't booted yet. I'll let it run flat then try wiping and flashing rom again. If that doesn't work, I guess that means I have to wipe system too, then flash cm and gapps, and finally be back up.

Question Soft boot loop after wiping cache partition - Rooted S908E

I need help. After rooting the device and after several days of using it, and saw that Wipe cache partition can clean up stuff and increase battery life and performance. So I went ahead, connected my phone using a USB-C cable to PC, hold the UP button while booting, and selected Wipe cache partition. Booted it up again, and it was running fine but the phone has starting for almost like after every minute it hangs, and goes back to the Samsung logo, and the cycle repeats. I was only able to escape via booting in Safe Mode.
Any advice what to do to prevent the boot loop? Is there any way to know which or what makes the phone hang?
Running in Android 12 One UI 4.

Not sure why that would do that.. But it seems like the only solution now would do a complete factory reset and start over.
Thank you for the reply. For some reason, the phone just decided to fix itself. What I did was just let it be in Safe Mode for several hours, went back to Normal mode, and somehow it stopped hanging.
