Rooting

Ok, so I have rooted several device's but I have never updated my stock android Os higher while rooted.
With the news of 4.3 I was just wondering what would happen?
Thanks for your help in advance guys.

Probably a 99 percent chance you lose root. Sadly.

Any chance it will damage my phone? And can I just realised root again? Using the Nexus 4 auto root?
Thanks for your help

Why not going unroot before updating?

There's just the chance of bricking your device, just like everytime you are rooting it or flashing something.
Rooting it again shouldn't be a problem.
Bricking is easily fixed by flashing a new rom?

I might do that tbh lol thanks

Yes, this is what I always do. It's the safest bet.

Thanks =)

Downgrading is done with Odin too?
And is SamMobile a safe bet for roms/factory images?

Choose the one for Nexus 5 and extract it. Turn on in bootloader connect the phone to the PC and run flash all file. Wait for it to finish and you're in 4.4.4
With this process you'll lose all data.

[Q] Stock OxygenOS sounds

Hello,
Can someone please provide the stock OxygenOS sounds (ringtones, etc), I'm on pixel experience and wouldn't mind changing mine without needing to full wipe again.
Cheers
