WCDMA on S6 in Asia - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6

I have a Verizon S6, and I am currently in India on an Airtel SIM. I cannot get 3G on my phone. I either stay on 'E' (edge) or when in the city get 4G, but cannot get 3G. I've added the Airtel access points and everything. Even on 4G, the only thing I can use is WhatsApp, nothing else loads (such as chrome, play store, ...).
I've tried *#*#4636#*#* to try to switch over to WCDMA, but it does not work, nothing happens when I dial that. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: everything is stock on the phone.

LG G2 AT&T D800 Stopped working with 4G LTE

Hello,
My LG G2 D800 AT&T suddenly stopped working with 4G LTE, I am from Venezuela with a service plan with Movistar and I already had my sim card ready to work with 4G also had a data service for LTE, in fact I was working with 4G for aproximately 3 months under Band 4(1700/2100) but one day without installing any additional software the phone stopped working with 4G.
I placed the sim card into a different phone and the 4G worked on that phone.
I have tried factory restore without any third part application, also included the company APN and it is still in 3G not in 4G.
I entered into the hidden menu and selected the BAND4, my android version is 4.4.2 but it doesn´t allow to select 2G/3G/4G or select any prefered network you can just search for available networks and if I do I just find WCDMA and GSM not LTE. The other option available beside Search for available networks is Automatic Selection which usually selects the LTE network but now just select WCDMA.
I also tried entering *#*#4636#*#* and try to select any prefered band but that option is not even listed, I think is the stock rom.
I don´t know what to do now, I have tried everything but I don´t know if I have to install a custom rom in order to get the option to select the prefered network. I would like to keep my stock rom because I use quick remote and some other application I know I won´t find in a custom rom.
I hope somebody can help me because the LTE data service are really expensive and I am not using right now.
Please I need your help!!

Please help! No 3G or GSM, can't call, but LTE works fine.

I really need help with my device, I searched all over XDA and no-one seems to have the same issue as me.
Here is some information:
1) Nexus 6P (H1511)
2) 6.0.1 Absolute stock, no rom, no root, no custom recovery. Build number MMB29P.
Recently got a new Nexus 6P and imported to Russia. All of the major bands here are supported. And the phone worked excellent for a few weeks, but then it lost all 3G or GSM connectivity. Just randomly, didn't do anything with it, the only thing I did is move to another city but than I got back, the issue didn't resolve. LTE works perfectly but can't call or receive calls, can receive sms though. Reseting network settings and factory reset changed nothing. Tried manualy set network to WCDMA or GSM with *#*#4636#*#* command, the moment I switch to anything besides LTE the connection is lost. Contacted the provider, no problem on their side, my SIM works good in other phones, my phone with other SIMs - no.
I don't think it is a hardware issue because a few times I managed to get everything working after an hour of switching networks and bands with no particular order in the *#*#4636#*#* testing mode.
After a while I figured that if I set phone to "GSM only" on USA bands in testing mode, but at the same time set it to "LTE prefered" in the normal network settings menu. I am able to set phone to Band mode 7 and set the network back to 2G in network settings keeping it on " GSM only" the whole time and only after this compicated algorithm and after a reboot 2G and 3G starts working. But any reboot after that revertes everything back to only LTE stage. Also if I get everything working but than reset network settings everything stops working again.
I have no idea what caused such an issue, I really hope someone can help.
Sorry couldn't post screenshots because of the "10 posts rule".

HELP, Stick only to 2G network...

Hi,
I just purchased a new, unlocked, Lg G2 D800 as a replacement for my G2 D802 international version. I updated it to 5.0.2.
The problem is that here in Italy that I am trying to use it, it only works on 2G network... My carrier told me that that everything is ok with my line, and I should be running on 3G or 4G...
Under settings- mobile networks there is NOT an option to choose data speed (like 2G, 3G, or 4G...). Applictions through play store like intelly3G, 4GLTE Switch, Switch network type 2G/3G, etc, return me the message that are not supported from my phone...
Even when I try to pybass that through the hidden menu, dialing the USSD code: *#*#4636#*#* I get the same message, "the application does not work on this device"...
I am desperate... Please any ideas
Thank you!

No 4G / LTE in Austria?

I'm customer of the local carrier "Drei" (Hutchison) but my Pixel (bought in Germany) does not connect to the 4G / LTE network.
The support of Drei is not able to help me. LTE is working fine with the same SIM on the OnePlus One.
Any clue how to fix that?
There is regional problem I came across. In India here we dont have VOLTE support on pixel

What LTE bands do they use on Drei?
Same happen to me in Portugal with MEO. I can't seem to solve it. Talked with my carrier support, they don't know why I don't have 4G/LTE.
I never got 4G, but my SIMCard has no issues with iPhone getting 4G right away.
Is it Pixel issue? I start to think it is..
3/Drei is listed here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks_in_Europe#Commercial_deployments
The specs of the Pixel are listed here: https://madeby.google.com/phone/specs/
That is all information I have got.
Is there any possibility to display information about nearby LTE senders via an app?
After activating "LTE only" via *#*#4636#*#* it works. Everytime I search for networks or reboot my phone it still connects via 3G and switches back to "LTE UMTS auto (PRL)".
Seems to be a software issue.

I use the phone on Verizon and don't have any problems connecting to LTE using any available mode (Global, LTE/CDMA or LTE/GSM/UMTS). However, if I set the mode to LTE-only via the menu, it will also reset when I either reboot the phone or if I just open the "Cellular networks" menu. I think it's how it supposed to work because that menu doesn't have the LTE-only option, so it resets the mode to whatever you see there. The solution is simple - if you reboot the phone change the mode again and don't go to the "Cellular networks" menu
Regarding why it doesn't work with "LTE UMTS auto (PRL)", it might be because Drei didn't configure a handover from UMTS to LTE on the cell site you're connected to. It looks like Pixel finds UMTS signal first, but doesn't know that LTE signal exists due to a missing handover. Another phone might be fine if it searches for LTE signal first. But if you can see another phone switching from UMTS to LTE in the same spot, my theory is wrong.

S8 International, only h+/3g

Hi
It's like from the oreo update that my phones keeps stuck on h+ or 3g connection. With nougat I surf on 4g+ without problems when covered. Now in the same areas it won't connect to LTE. I can't force it becuase I can't access to the hidden menu its locked from the SW.
What can I do? It switch from h+ and 3g (with the 3g the velocity sucks..)
Already tried to reset my network setting from the reset settings.
If I put ONLY 2G also datas wont work, I stay offline. When i put 4g back it go in 4G but after few second it switch to h+ again. It's frustrating.
