I just bought my first android phone and I followed the guides here in for my Samsung Galaxy Core. I had successfully rooted and installed CWM recovery and then i followed the guide of installing Monster ROM. Being new to flashing i didn't know that i also need to unlock the bootloader and flashed without unlocking it and now my phone is soft bricked. I can just enter in Download Mode and whenever i flash with Stock ROM it gets failed at around 90%. Please help!
Remember : I didn't unlock boot loader.

You dont need to unlock bootloader if u have a retail galaxy core.. if ur flashing is getting failed at 90% try other pc or for last resort go visit service center
Thank you!

Thanks Siddhesh, it is working now. Actually i was using the wrong ODIN that is given here in CWM Flashing tutorial. But when i used ODIN3 v1.85 it flashed the stock rom right way.

[Q] Samsung galaxy S5 not booting with flashed compiled zImage

I tried many ways to flash my compiled kernel zImage in samsung galaxy S5 phone. Tried with ODIN, Tried with HEIMDALL but failed. someone told flash cutom ROM then try flashing your zImage then signature checking will be not there, Tried that also got failed. I am able to flash my kernel by its not booting. Getting frustrated.
If you follow these links they mentioned in very simple to compile and flash
http://www.usmile.at/node/50
But its not working for me.
My kernel code is from samsung official website for my particular model and i am building it in same way they as they are saying, so i have less doubt on kernel. Still i was having feel some signature checking is going and i am not able to disable it. Even after flashing with custom ROM also SECUREBOOT ENABLE is there. I feel this is the reason of all my problem. During installation of SUPERSU application its asked me to disable KNOX. i disable KNOX there but still nothing working for me. Please help to flash my compiled kernel in phone.

[Q] Rooting issue!!!

I have a Samsung galaxy Tab2 p3100,
Few dayz back I tried to install a custom rom in it thru CWM, but it was unsuccessfull.
Then I installed back that stock rom that I had backup.
Then I formatted my tab few times.
Then it shows some errorr;!!.
Then I used my phone, but when I opened SuperSU,
It is showing "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it,This is a problem"
So I flashed again that rooting file thru odin 3 times,
but still itz showing the same error.
So Dev's I kindly request u guyz to provide any solution to this problem.
Its really freaking me out .
Plzzz help me Guyszz....
You may need to flash a stock firmware, something may be borked in system, by updating your firmware and updating your custom recovery it will probably fix issue . After wards root update binary again and flash roms.
Pp.
any other solutions Bro
If something is borked due to a bad flash or bad or wrong download the only way to fix it is to reflash original stock firmware in order to fix it. You then start all over again.
I keep a folder on my pc with all the stuff I need incase this happens.
Pp.
Flash a custom recovery. Download latest SuperSU zip from SuperSu thread and flash in recovery
