[Completed] LG G VISTA Startup problems - XDA Assist

I recently rooted a VERIZON LG G VISTA VS880 running Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) using KingRoot. I decided to remove some bloatware, now that my phone is rooted. After that, I tried to restart my phone but when it was going to boot back up, I got slapped across the face with an odd message. Every time I try and turn it on, the screen reads, "Start Up Failed. Your device didn't start up Successfully. Use the Verizon Software Repair Assistant (which I don't have and don't know how to get without my phone working) on a computer to repair your device. Connect your device to your computer to get the Verizon Software Repair Assistant (Nothing happens). [Authentication Fail #9] [MODIFIED]". I have tried factory resetting it and wiping the cache, which are the only two options from download mode that seemed like they would help. I have also tried connecting it to my computer and searching online for help. I really need some help guys. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you very much.

[Completed] LG Risio (h343) Bricked. Help please!

I recently bricked my lg risio trying to flash something. when i turn it on it shows the LG logo and says security error and then shuts down. i tried putting it download mode. My computer detects it but will not allow me access to what is on the phone. I gave up and tried to factory reset it, only to see the same error screen. I rooted and installed mods on my old HTC before, but have since forgotten this lengthy process. Someone please help. Thank you

[Completed] Bricked LG G Stylo MS631

I just have the problem that I may have bricked my LG G Stylo MS631. I had factory reset it after I found it on the side of the road, and upon booting it back up, it had Factory Reset Protection asking me to login. Somehow my friend managed to flash a firmware file from his PC, but it was the wrong file, so it wound up bricked. He did this twice more after unbricking it, but after the third, he was unable to unbrick it and he handed it back to me. So now I'm here. I cant boot the phone up, I cant get into download mode, but when I connect it to my PC, (Windows 10), it thinks for a second, then displays an error about the last USB device I plugged in was not recongnized by windows and may be damaged. Any ideas on what to do to fix this absurdly huge phone?

[Completed] Possibly hard-bricked LG lge-465f phone - download mode only

Hello!
I recently came upon a (quite old) LG phone, model LG lge-465f. It was suffering from Security Error loop. I charged the battery using an external charger, downloaded LG Mobile Support Tool, installed the drivers on my Windows 7 x64, connected the phone in Download Mode (couldn't get it in Emergency Mode for the life of me), the software recognised the phone, so I did the Software Update. It downloaded the firmware, extracted it, but got stuck at 5%, saying I needed to unplug and plug it back. Did it a few times, until the program crashed. Tried some more times, changed to a Windows XP x32 station, but to no avail.
So I downloaded a .kdz from a stock ROM site I trust and tried to use the LG Flash Tool 2014. No luck. Still got stuck at 5% and crashed. If I tried to click on Get Phone Information, the program crashed.
Then I tried KDZ_FW_UPD. Selected the phone mode to DIAG, selected my KDZ, but got ERROR PHONE NOT FOUND. I tried to change the COM port to COM41, did the flashing again, still stuck at the same error.
Problem is, the phone now seems to be even worse. I can't turn it on, only get it to download mode. Now I can't even see the Security Error... Is the phone totally gone?
Thanks for any help!

[Completed] LG Stylo 2 Plus Bootloop

Model: LGMS5500, Lg Stylo 2 Plus (MetroPCS)
Here's my issue.
I recently rooted/installed TWRP for this phone, all was working well until one day the system started running extremely slow>
Pulling down the notification bar took about five seconds; it took about the same amount of time to turn the screen on/off.
I searched everywhere for fixes and tried every one to no avail, so I figured I'd do a factory reset.
After trying the factory reset from the settings app; all the phone did was reboot.
So I went into TWRP and reset/cleared data from there.
Now when the phone starts, it brings me to a screen saying "Encryption unsuccessful" and only gives me the option to reset my phone.
When I press this button, it just reboots to the same screen>
I can't get into TWRP because before all of this happened, I disabled USB debugging so I can't use my PC to get into recovery. There's also no way to boot to recovery with just the hardware buttons; the only way to get to TWRP with this phone is either from apps on the phone itself or using ADB.
Am I S.O.L here? Am I going to need to buy a new phone?

I own an LG g vista, and it is rooted. My keyboard stopped working, it won't pop up at all so I tried doing a factory reset thinking that might help but it doesn't. Now im unable to use my phone because I have no keyboard to enter my google account when prompted. Recovery mode was no use because the only options are continue to power up, safe mode, factory reset, wipe cash, and power down. I can't pull down the screen to go to settings because im stuck in setup wizard. And i don't have access to a computer. Please help I bought my phone brand new three weeks ago and can't afford to replace it
