Here's my issue.
I recently rooted/installed TWRP for this phone, all was working well until one day the system started running extremely slow>
Pulling down the notification bar took about five seconds; it took about the same amount of time to turn the screen on/off.
I searched everywhere for fixes and tried every one to no avail, so I figured I'd do a factory reset.
After trying the factory reset from the settings app; all the phone did was reboot.
So I went into TWRP and reset/cleared data from there.
Now when the phone starts, it brings me to a screen saying "Encryption unsuccessful" and only gives me the option to reset my phone.
When I press this button, it just reboots to the same screen>
I can't get into TWRP because before all of this happened, I disabled USB debugging so I can't use my PC to get into recovery. There's also no way to boot to recovery with just the hardware buttons; the only way to get to TWRP with this phone is either from apps on the phone itself or using ADB.
Am I S.O.L here? Am I going to need to buy a new phone?

I recently rooted a VERIZON LG G VISTA VS880 running Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) using KingRoot. I decided to remove some bloatware, now that my phone is rooted. After that, I tried to restart my phone but when it was going to boot back up, I got slapped across the face with an odd message. Every time I try and turn it on, the screen reads, "Start Up Failed. Your device didn't start up Successfully. Use the Verizon Software Repair Assistant (which I don't have and don't know how to get without my phone working) on a computer to repair your device. Connect your device to your computer to get the Verizon Software Repair Assistant (Nothing happens). [Authentication Fail #9] [MODIFIED]". I have tried factory resetting it and wiping the cache, which are the only two options from download mode that seemed like they would help. I have also tried connecting it to my computer and searching online for help. I really need some help guys. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you very much.

Hi!
My neighbors (11-year old) son apparently tried to root their Samsung GT-N5120 with something called King Root(??). I don't know more than that and they asked me to fix it cause (you know computers) -.-.
The problem is that it's stuck in boot loop. It boots up and it shows the screen and all but it doesn't happen anything and then it reboots. Now what i've tried is to start it in recovery mode (Volume Up + menu button + power button) and i've tried to do a factory reset but it didn't work. From what i've read i think he has overwritten those files that the factory reset needs. So what can I do? It doesn't seem to be bricked since it starts and i can start it in both recovery mode and download mode. My computer reacts when I plug it in and tries to install drivers and so forth (but it won't show up on My Computer). So something probably can be done I just don't know what to do. Any ideas?

Hello all,
I've been a real numpty and managed to brick my phone whilst attempting a ROM flash.
It started when the phone began to display annoying pop-up ads and pre-installed apps without asking me first! Over time it started getting worst and worst to the point I would get 4-5 pop-up ads within an hour.
I tried to root the phone and flash with a ROM, using an app I discovered on the Google Market. Unfortunately now whenever I try to start the phone, it boots the "Lenovo" logo and ends up in a continuous reboot loop.
I've accessed the boot menu and attempted to install the "update package" via the SD card. Unfortunately it continually gives me a failure, I have tried countless ROMS and a stock ROM.
Also my laptops don't find the device when plugged in. No Auto-Play pop up, and nothing shows up on Device Manager I've tried different cables and can't find a solution.
Is anybody able to offer some advice? This is the 2GB Lenovo A936.
Help is greatly appreciated!

I've been trying to get SuperSU on my new phone for hours yesterday and hours today and it seems that absolutely every method I try has some kind of error somewhere and it's getting extremely frustrating. The only actual root I've been able to accomplish is with Kingroot, but I only wanted to use that to install SuperSU and then uninstall Kingroot with it, but it refused to install so I just uninstalled Kingroot and am back at square one.
After literally hours I finally managed to get ADB to see my LG Pheonix 2 so that I could boot in to recovery mode. That is seemingly the only way to do it (besides Kingroot) because I've found absolutely nothing anywhere specifying how to do this with the buttons on the phone and no known methods for other phone models have worked on mine. Well, I'm finally into it, but to no surprise there's another problem--the dead Android icon is displayed over a black background without the recovery menu. I have some hope left that if I can access the recovery menu I'll be able to root my device with SuperSU. So, with that said, how can I make the recovery menu come up when I'm on the screen with the dead Android logo?
Also, my phone doesn't seem to have any fastboot or bootloader page either. All it does is reboot the device like normal
Any help would be extremely appreciated :crying:

Hello! I am new to this forum and I don't know where I can get help. I rooted my Coolpad E560, a.k.a. Coolpad or Sky Mini and everything was fine until I decided to unroot it. It immediately restarted and will not boot ever since (stuck at logo). I opened recovery mode and selected wipe data/factory reset but it didn't solve the problem, neither did wipe cache. Then I selected reboot to bootloader. "Download and Install the package? Press volume up to agree or volume down to cancel". I press volume up and then it's stuck on "Information Do not disconnect the data cable". In the end I tried to flash stock rom. The only firmware I found was (phone name).CPB and it seems like the only flashing tool that can use .CPB is YGDP. But the flashing process doesn't even begin, it gets stuck on Entering download mode... I unsuccessfully tried to enter download mode on my phone. It doesn't have removable battery, some key combinations I tried didn't work. Now I don't know what to do. Any help will be appreciated.
