[ROM][XXKPH - 25/08/2011] GanaROM - GB ROM Update 1.3

This is my first rom. I made it for myself, if you are interested , download and try it out.
Feedback would be very welcome.
Installation Instructions
1>Flash STOCK KPH
2>Flash CFROOT CWM FOR KPH (By Skin or AMIT)
3>Copy the Download Zip (GanaROM.XXKPH.zip to your external SD)
4>Boot to Recovery , Flash the select ZIP file.
The Installation will wipe all the data and cache.

Absolutely not much change from the Stock icons.
Only the launcher is different. Goal is to make it a smooth phone
But will post as soon as i can.

Good work dude. However fix the gtalk video issue. I have already installed gtalk video but for some reasons when i use the option it starts the video & reboots. Any idea? i had exactly followed the steps told (i don't remember in which thread i found the link)

Did you push the libtalk_jni.so file?
May be you have the wrong one..

What's the quadrant score on this? I'm tempted to test it, like every other ROM, but so much happening with the XXKPH scene, I'm practically on edge about getting a stable system for now .

@ganaboy, Yes buddy, i have pushed libtalk_jni.so to system/lib & also gtalk.apk. Here is what i followed step by step correct me if wrong somewhere.
Copy talk2.apk and go to /system/app
Press Mount R/W at the top right and then press Paste on the bottom left
Now you have both talk.apk and talk2.apk
Rename Talk.apk to Talk.apk1
Select and hold the other Talk2.apk and press Permissions and select:
User: Read Write
Group: Read
Others: Read
And press Ok
Now press and hold on Talk2.apk and press Rename
And rename Talk2.apk to Talk.apk
go back to your extracted files on your sdcard and copy libtalk_jni.so
Navigate to system/lib
Press Mount R/W at the top right and then press Paste on the bottom left
Press and hold on libtalk_jni.so and select Permissions
change the permissions to:
User: Read Write
Group: Read
Others: Read
now reboot your device.
now open Talk and press on your own name where you can change your own status and tick the allow Video- and voicechat

CM10 Camera/VOip Fix

Hello guys , I'm starting this thread with full of responsibility of the working Camera on CM10 (on which the camera still haven't got fixed )
Firstly I want to give Credits to the DEV , and to my friends that really helped me on the way :
# @TheWhisp (Who made possible CM10 & CM10.1 , also for the libraries he has provided on his cm-10-20130720-UNOFFICIAL-jena.zip build , and also for the AutoFocus fix which he has provided with a hw library,also for the hints he gave to make the VOip work .Hints taken by his own https://github.com/TheWhisp/android_device_samsung_msm7x27a-common/issues?page=1&state=open )
# @vickyg.coolest for the list of libraries he told me to replace , and for his help
# @Bassel Bakr who made a Torch app which makes the Flash work on CyanogenMod ROMs
# @davideddu96 (who made possible FlashLight work on CM10.1 & CM10 )
First download all the libraries shown below ,
Then download the CM10 build of Trebon here : http://goo.im/devs/thewhisp/trebon-cm10/cm-10-20130506-UNOFFICIAL-trebon.zip
Extract it anywhere , then replace the libraries as shown below :
libcamera.so ' libcamera_client ' liboemcamera.so to system/lib
camera.msm7x27a.so system/lib/hw
ZIP the ( system,META-INF,boot.img)
Boot into the ROM , and then go to **Terminal Emulator and write sysctl -w kernel.randomize_va_space=1 , then go to Camera (it will crash for the First time , but if you open again , it will work )
If you want the flash to WORK , you must download the app Torch made by Bassel Bakr (thanks to him) , turn the flashlight ON , then it will PROMPT to Allow/Deny on SuperUser , you should ALLOW it to Work (this happens always when you Turm ON the flashlight , so if you want to fix this , go into SuperUser , Preferences/Security tap on Automatic Response and select Allow)
VOip Fix
You will probably have problems with VOip , especially with Viber (which I am using ) , your sound will not be sent to other party , neither you will hear other party's sound .
So just copy and replace the libraries attached below , and copy as shown below :
audio_policy.conf to system/etc
This is it , the camera should work until your next reboot , because when the device reboots the PIE Enables by its own way .
**these stars mean that you have to do this on every boot/reboot ( go to Terminal Emulator and write sysctl -w kernel.randomize_va_space=1 )

Can we use cm 10.1 kernel on cm 10? Since arm pie has been permanently disabled in cm10.1.

Edit' Tried taking the CM10.1 kernel , but got a bootloop , so sorry , also tried TweakNOS , did nothing , if we use the CM10 , we should still execute that command after every reboot /boot . Sorry guys , I'm not a Developer that can fix this issue , if someone can help , write down here , or try to ask thewhisp how to disable ARM_PIE permanently .

If you wouldn't tell us that command , maybe we (trebon users) couldn't even know what is that camera_rear_flash until now , so you are a contributor too .Thanks anyway for that command

4: Now select the downloaded recovery with a file explorer (Rashr - Flash Tool will ask you to flash it as recovery & reboot in recovery mode)and flash it

5: Once you are in recovery mode make a full backup of your actual rom.
THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE MY TWRP MAKE A BACKUP OF VITAL PARTITIONS WHERE IS STORED IMEI,MAC ETC...
it's a good idea to copy the backup folder on your PC, it could be very useful in future in case of problem with missing IMEI and other trouble...
-------------------IMPORTANT STEP----------------------------------------------
6: Now ( note:due to the fact some people had problem during this step in TWRP-Settings select "Use rm -rf instead of formatting.")select: Wipe-Advanced Wipe and tick: Dalvik Cache,System,Cache,Data.
7: (Without exit from recovery) Select Install and choose the rom zip (on upper part of the recovery screen you can select Internal Storage or SD Card).....
....reboot....
....OK!....now you are on EMUmI!

NVRAM WARNING: ERR 0x10 (& random WLAN MAC ADDRESS) ???....HERE THE DEFINITIVE SOLUTION
To download Themes and Songs remember to have simcard inserted and not to be in "Flight Mode":Those apps need to access your IMEI number to finalize autentication..
EMUmI is PREROOTED but there isn't the Supersu apk,all apps needing root will work well,i suggest to install SuperSu(from market) only if you need to manage apps permissions..
The rom is FULLY ODEXED (more stable&fast)....so is not reccomended using Titanium or similar app to remove and then restore apps:It will remove the related libs from system but it will not restore them...so i suggest to use it only if you know what you are doing..(to reinstall an app you need to extract the libs from his .apk and copy them to system/lib again.....)..however you can restore "Only data" of apps without problems.
Many Google related apps are not present(tts,search...)first of all to gain space,second because they are often updated....if you need them you can download from Market without problem..
How To Enable On Screen Soft Buttons:modify this line in build.prop:
#qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
TO
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
(remember to left an empty line at the end of build.prop!)

I've only been using it for 30 minuets
the camera seems slightly better although i haven't tested it in the dark yet
i haven't had any random reboots
headphones work fine
I haven't found anything wrong with it yet

I found some bugs on StryFlex™ LP v4.0

Hello .. I have found some bugs on StryFlex™ LP v4.0 Ultimate Rom and they are :
1) If some one calls you the android system will stop working ..
2)It freeze some times
3)when u type wrong pin for lock screen the system will stop worknig also
4)If you use flashlight you must restart your phone to close it ..
5)If you use advance reboot u wont get the menu for choosing where to reboot (ex at bootloader)
6)If you type a URL on browser it will stop working but if you reopen it you can shearch from the URL
7)When you change a ringtone you will not get the song you chose from your music files but something els
I cant remember other bugs if i found more i will post them
Please STRYDER~007 see this post and try to fix these problems i really like your work you have done atm ..

I've successfully ported it from pixel systemui.apk and running it on my OP3 ( not tried on OP3T but should work )

There is slightly difference b/w systemUI in every new build !!! But it might work ...... Back up your system ui apk before proceeding !!

Hey I took backup of OPSystemUI before pasting yours there, but pasting yours makes the navigation bar & status bar disappear for me. Moreover, when I moved the backed up OPSystemUI back there, my phone is booting up but after booting up displaying NOTHING. Screen goes black.
Please tell what to do @Ashish_Maurya . If you can give OB22 SystemUI that would be good. I am on ExperienceOS.
Update: tried everything, but couldn't get the blackscreen removed. Even after replacing the OPSystemUI.
If you're on ExperienceOS, please be cautious. This may not work well for you.

brother, plz flash latest or your corrent ExperienceOS zip, it would not wipe your data and your fon will boot normally !! sorry for inconvenient !! my op3 is running on open beta 22 and mod is working great !!!!

No offense brother. It could br that it works on OB22. However, doesn't work on experience OS based on OB22.
I didn't have substratum theme installed.
And just dirty flashing the ROM didn't fix this. Somehow something used to get problematic in data. So, I had to wipe data to get it back, essentially basically doing a clean flash only.

How did you manage to make it work
I tried chromeloop methord , with PA rom and mine was crashing

Smae steps followed as the chromeloop provided and work on oxygen OS !!!! Might be there is some issue with custom rom systemui !!!!

you really need a back to stock zip. im on open beta 22 and this gave me the black screen. now i have to wipe my phone. thanks.. i do not recommend trying this.
