Galaxy tab p5110 dead after ext4 conversion....

Hi everybody and sorry in advance for my English.
My brother tried to convert to ext4 the tab2 from cwm6 to resolve the bad laggy problem, and after that the tab is completily dead, no recovery mode, no download mode, no boot, just a black screen.
There is some way to restore boot to flash back a ROM without call assistence.
Any help will be realy appreciated ....

The link you posted is bad, try to copy it again.
In my understanding, every device that's bricked and cannot go into recovery is totally dead. Hope I'm wrong in this case.
Do your pc recognize it when you connect it to the usb?

I don't know if you can unbrick your tab, but you should read disclaimers like this, especially when they're typed in red caps...

When i saw this i sadly started cracking up... but at least its unbrickable, if it connects under download mode then just flash to stock viaodin.

Hi. Have the same device. But it's almost dead. No recowery((. ( Was updating via update.app on sd card but missed the sing that it's for my modification of model.
So now it's just flashes lights and connects too PC as some two ports. One is in download mode I think, QPST telling so.. athor I think for some backups.. But I don't know what to do about this ports.. even can't find native firmware.
Simple question is. can I somhow install recowery thru update.app file? Phone is still processing this file, becouse it creates update.log, but with error (maybe if original fw then it just helps, but I still can not find it) or where I can download or even buy native firmware updater?
Maybe is some software that can help thru PC? QPST is powerfull but I miss much knolage(((((((((

And use minimal adb and fastboot to do flashing with fastboot..To go into fastboot mode use this first disable fastboot in settings then turn off phone.remove bat,after 5 sec reinsert bat and then turn on phone and when huawei shows release power button and press and hold volume down for 10sec-whatever you think best then connect to pc phone with usb cable and to go to recovery do "adb reboot recovery" from adb or just do same as for fastboot but with pressing volume up instead of volume down button or power up with holding both power and volume up i really dont know but somehow figured out.But before all you know for sure that when youre restoring cwm backup you need to put into "sdcard/clockworkmod/backup" folder from that zip file when you unpack it you will find this folder with date in name and just put it there..And then before doing restore make sure you did wipe data,wipe catche,dalvik catche and format only sistem partition..Here is also https://www.dropbox.com/s/jygfnjygepl2jzd/cwm-oneclick-install.zip?dl=0 cwm recovery for this device

mate 7 in boot loop locked bootloader

my mate 7 in bootloop i haven't unlock botloader, i can access to recovery mode (stock) and fastboot mode only, i try to unlock boot loader on the site of HUAWEI without success it always said 'this HUAWEI ID has not been used on this device for more than 14 ays'

i have read the thread in english, in french (using google translate) but i didnt understand my phone doesnt boot, so how can i install kingroot.apk or honortuner.apk ???
my big problem is that i used my phone with HUAWEI-ID for only 3 three days so i can't have yhe unlock code from huawei official website :crying:

if you can't open your device it's a big problem

try this
if bootloader never unlocked before.......
try download last version hisuite 4.0 and connect phone to laptop via usb .... keeping
press down values and power together until you see fastboot mode
in hisuite click SYSTEM RECOVERY let hisuite complete flash rom automatically

hisute must be detected HAM 7 ... try again and click SYSTEM RECOVERY >>>>>>>after a few seconds click RESUME button
if that not help must be find a way to unlock bootloader and flash system.img boot.img recovery.img in the same you are version damaged

how?please help even i will pay you just to to work my mobile again. my mobile show below of android logo is phone locked and rescue mode enter.

after i click resume button shows recover and when i click recover it show your device is not supported for system recovery

Same problem here
There is no solution to this problem. I hope that if Huawei launches the official Marshmallow firmware, then we would be able to rectify this problems.. Otherwise I tried a lot but no results.. Best of Luck...

For information "one-key recovery" method throw hisuite 4.0 needs unlock bootloader i have already try it without result so if some one have another idea he's welcome

This is exactly my problem, where i had flashed the update of Marshmallow, and it seems it wasn't correct. Now it is on boot loop and can't recover in fastboot. there should be a solution !! surprised even i can't shut it down, did they think about these kind of problems?

i have a simple solution. Lunch Hisuite. connect your phone to the system with cable. Hold power + vol up + vol down botton all at the sample time. Phone will vibrate, and will show huawei logo. now, let go of the three bottons. Huawei software update will lunch automatically and will start download...

tablet stuck on boot

i have a yuntab B102(tulip-p1) with an allwinner chipset. it's stuck on the initial logo screen. this started when i mounted the system partition.
i can enter recovery mode. i've tried to wipe the cache and data...no go. and i can't find anything on it.
any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: forgot to mention it's running marshmallow.

This started when you mounted system? Or it started when you mounted system and tried to modify something?

it actually started when i mounted system. no modifying.

ok so i got the firmware from the company that sold me the tablet. is there a way to convert the img file so i can use it with phoenix card?
no software will work for me because the micro usb connector is loose and it won't even stay connected long enough for my pc to recognize it.

That's something you should already know by looking into any thread for any device : NEVER ever try to put a firmware from a different device. Lots of things a related to the specific hardware combination of each device.

I bought online a ROG Phone 5 with global ROM but I didn't know it's Tencent edition (which was a bad idea). First day I held my ROG5 in my hand it worked for a few hours until I installed the "Find My Device" app, the phone was suddenly dead.
So I tried to turn it on while it's charged and while it's not. Both times it didn't work. I tried to wipe data and reboot system in Fastboot mode with no luck and it's show something like "...your Android system is corrupted..." and gave me option to try again. When I tried to charge, the vibration, the charging light and the backlight didn't turn and it didn't show it's charging.
The function of pressing up volume and power buttons together only worked when I plugged in the charging cable. Please enlighten me of what should I do next.

Only edl mode can help you to unlock bootloader.

I've the exactly the same problem. I don't how to fix it. No one is replying me.
I bought my phone from Aliexpress and is tencent version flashed with global. After opening and setting it up, it was working fine and started playing pubg. After about 1 hour, it just died. No warning or anything, just ploof.
It doesn't respond to anything, power, volume +, volume -. Nothing when it's not charging.
But When I plug it into its charger, it does a boot loop.
When charging on the side, it boots up the android logo then the ROG logo but dies right after.
When charging on the bottom, it flashes the android logo and dies.
While it does that I held the volume up button, I can access fastboot and it stays on with the options:
- Start
- Restart bootloader
- Recovery mode
- Power off
I tried every option to no avail.
When I plug out the charger while in fastboot, it dies.
I think the battery connection is fried.

Did you and just let it charge using the bottom port for at least 30 mins?

If all you want is live wallpaper, you could pull the live wallpaper individually. If you have any questions about how, they belong in a new thread.
