Working snapchat.... - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note5

So what's the deal with Snapchat. I know they stop allowing root users to use their app but I was relying on this form to at least have a workaround any good news?

It's only if you have xposed installed before you actually log into snapchat. If you log in before you install xposed then it'll spaz you out

Correct. Uninstall Xposed, login to snapchat, make a data backup in TiBU just in case, reflash xposed and you should be all good.

as an experiment, completely remove xposed, reboot, and try. chances are that it is xposed itself causing the issue. if its still not working, we will go further after. but with xposed still installed, thats all the help youll get from me.

thats what it was, halo! it had to be disabled to install apps. the install button would be grayed out. anything similar would go through the same process, even regular apps. thank you btw

Do you have "Unknown Sources" checked under the security settings. It should prompt you if you don't but just in case, check that.
I've got the same problem. I can't install apk's since I'm using the latest stock 4.4.3 update. I've never rooted my phone or whatsoever. I can't seem to find a solution for it

I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't be able to install apks. Even on stock and no root, I am fairly sure you are able to.
Check this out. . We discovered this in the Paranoid Android Community the other day.
If you have Echo Notifications Lockscreen installed, whether you have it activated or not, it disables installation of apks and the OK button on certain other dialogs. I went nuts trying to figure out what happened...

After installing greenify you have to give root access and than select the apps you want to greenify by going to + icon on top right of app.
I suggest you to use Servicely. I found it better than Greenify. Here is the Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.franco.servicely
P.S. Also you can activate free PRO.

I dont have root on my device, only use unrooted resources from Greenify, and it always worked nicelly, but now it appears that facebook, whatsapp and skype are categorized as system apps

Some of the features of Greenify works on non rooted devices, I had it on S4 with 5.0.1 and it worked nicely, the question here is why this apps dont appear on the kill list to select?!

Xposed Framework for Android Nougat 7.0?

Hi Guys I was wondering if you can install xposed in android 7.0. I searched the file but I did not find it. Could I get some guidance, please?

Yea, I need Xposed to play youtube videos when my screen is off! and Skips the ads on youtube!
There is unofficial Xposed for Nougat by PurifyOS
https://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s7/how-to/nougat-xposed-sdk-24-t3650736
Just be careful it's a work in progress and there are bugs with many modules... For example Greenify can cause a bootloop

Miss having Xposed, but the PurifyOS doesn't work for me. I can flash the zip in FF, Installer says that everything is ready to go, I can download any module I want, but when I reboot to enable even one, the phone softbricks and I'm stuck reflashing QB1 with HOME_CSC, re-rooting, and picking up where I left off. Might be the best bet just to wait for Rovo to get his version implemented.
Hey, at least we got root on a locked boot-loader. Having AdAway and CF.Lumen again makes me VERY happy. lol

Use magisk modules. There is a module for this. I'm using it. IYTBP is the module name.

Has anyone got YouTube Vanced working on Magisk?

I'm running 5.1.6 w official TWRP and Magisk 16.4, trying to get youtube vanced to work on youtube 13.54.18 but it doesn't work after installing.. Anyone who got it working?
No issues for me, works perfectly.
Same config as yours.
Try install YouTube Vanced from xda labs app instead installing it from magisk.
Regards ysco..

Thanks!
Still no bueno, in settings I can't find the option to change to dark theme either, has that been removed? I'll try XDA labs now
Using whit magisk, no problem.
No problem here
Is magisk supposed to install a youtube vanced app? Magisk seems to fail when trying to add apps because a debloater i tried also didn't install the app..
edit: non-root version works fine! I'll be using that for now..
Make sure you uninstall the updates in Play Store as they replace the system apk.

Yes, uninstalling Magisk will result in your device going in no-root stage. Uninstalling Xposed doen't affect device's root-stage.
