Ever sincec I got my LG G3 Stylus, I've got this issue that keeps bothering me a lot. I've searched the net, the phone's configs and etc and got nothing.
Since the phone is on warranty still, I decided not to root it yet (doesn't give me a lot of advantages doing so)
However, whenever I'm using the phone to do stuff, be it watching a video on youtube app, using facebook app, or any other app for instance, sometimes I accidentally touch the screen with my fingers or arm, and it locks. Like a screen lock that happens when you press the lock button behind it. I've searched in every option available on the phone and didn't find anything that could turn out to be a screen lock shortcut or something similar.
Anyone have an Idea what might be triggering the screen lock?

I'm not entirely sure how is that post related to my issue, they report that their phones are stuck on the logo, while I'm having issues with random screen locks (probably a touch shortcut)

this may not explain all screen issues, but it may explain the issue of the screen freezing and also the issue of it reacting on its own. i believe that this screen is highly sensitive. my current theory is that dirtiness and dullness cause screen lag. this can result in freezing, but i think more commonly what happens is for it to cause a delay in the screens responsiveness. so lets say you touch the screen and it doesnt respond right away. so you tap the screen again, and it does respond. but maybe its responding to the first time you touched it, and then you exit out of that screen or do something else, and forget that you touched the screen again. but the phone remembers and responds, and the phone does something odd, seemingly on its own. now remember this is just a theory of mine, and i am no expert on touchscreens. it just occurred to me that this could be a possibility, because i cleaned my screen really good and the screen seemed a good bit more responsive than usual. feel free to share your thoughts and opinions on this.
There are times when a greasy/wet touchscreen will misbehave, but I think the majority of our touchscreen problems stem from a buggy driver which tends to crash during low memory conditions.
yea i definitely think its just a buggy phone. wish it was as simple as keeping it clean, but i have these problems even when clean sometimes. its not a deal breaker though, at least not for me.
i just wish we could have custom lock screens or AOSP lock screen that wouldn't break the damn auto-rotate.
i know this is a different subject than my op, but i have a question. i converted several apps to system apps. two browsers, opera mobile and dolphin mini, dolphin to replace my stock browser and opera for desktop browsing, as well as a volume control app and a few others. i use an app called optimize android toolbox to clean my cache. before converting these apps to system, they all stored a cache. now, opera and dolphin dont. the volume control app still does though. i dont think its a problem, it just perplexes me. any possible explanation for this?

Ayoteddy got us the aosp lock and the puzzle lock, using it right now no prob.
sent from my....WAIT THIS ISNT MY PHONE?
When it's cold mine never responds.
I put a screen protector on my phone and I haven't had any touch screen problems since. Might just be a coincidence, though.
before i got this phone, i read a review that said only one android phone has a more functional lock screen than the sidekick. of course, that statement is based on phones with stock roms, but still, thats definitely saying something. i like the stock lockscreen a lot. i like the media room lockscreen widget. tried other music players with lockscreen widgets, but they take up the whole screen. then you have to exit the widget to unlock the screen. plus you can slide down to unlock or slide up to launch an app. thats pretty tight.
I'm not saying the stock lock screen isn't clever. It's really is quite cool... when it works.
So often I've had to struggle to unlock the phone because the screen was lagging badly. Or the home screen has come up for a second before the lock screen. This is especially a problem when text messages come in, and often result in my phone doing crazy crap in my pocket. Next time I pull it out I discover that it's gone to CNN, changed my brightness, turned on bluetooth, etc.
Received this phone (THL W8S) 5 days ago, and straight out of the box it has had a serious issue where the phone will lock up, the screen will fade slowly to black, and then reboot itself. The problem occurs both after factory resetting AND in safe mode.
The phone is unrooted and running the stock ROM.
Basically during use, the screen suddenly becomes unresponsive to touch and the physical buttons (home, volume, power) all stop functioning. As soon as the phone locks up this way, the screen slowly fades to black over about 60 seconds, at which point I have to leave it to fade completely before it reboots itself.
It happens most frequently when using any browser (stock, or otherwise) taking from less than 5 seconds to around 5min before the random lock up occurs) but also happens when scrolling through messages; scrolling through emails in either of the stock apps; using a compass app which came pre-installed (very quickly).
Initially I thought it might have to do with WiFi, but problem also cropped up with WiFi off, using 2/3G. Then in troubleshooting also managed to get it to happen using the camera (lot of motion, and repeatedly taking snaps).
Also odd is that the batteries I received in the box were generic black ones, not the official stamped/logo'ed THL ones I've seen on every website and every unboxing of this particular phone. So while there's a possibility this may be a battery issue, the fact that the phone hasn't done this while using a more battery draining app (Beach Buggy Blitz; Rayman Jungle Run) makes me think this is a deeper hardware fault related to , although I don't know enough about voltages and such to rule it out completely.
I have a couple videos showing the problem, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to put the links here. Should both be easily found by searching:

if interested.
Any thoughts/views would be greatly appreciated!

After the update jbbl-141 118-release, my CAM died no longer opens.
:crying:
Hi guys.. Anyone knwos if the razr hd support USB otg? I'm on kk jbbl of november.. I tried but it didnt work for me
Sent from my RAZR HD using xda app-developers app
Don't know if this is of use to the DEV but I'm posting anyways for any bugs they may be trying to fix.
Device: Razr Maxx HD
MoKee Version: MK44.4-moto_msm8960-150124-RELEASE
I've run with this ROM now for a few months, mostly because anything is better than running stock. The ROM runs very smoothly, I hardly ever have lag anymore and navigation is a breeze. I really wanted to thank the devs for this. I do however have a few issues that bother me, some more than others.
First off, the lock screen seems to have difficulties unlocking, to the point that I have to make several attempts at unlocking my device as the pattern entry looses touch sensivity or something during entry. This might not be an issue with the ROM itself as stock did this too only way worse and more often. the bigger issue is that at times it even changes the pattern size on me for no reason that I can gather. Like, the pattern entry will become quarter the size of the normal one and turning the screen off then on again doesn't fix it.
Second, back to the screen, there is often some sort of error going on with the notifications that appears on screen. So, I'll have notifications appears that will now and then lap over code entry and get locked in place that a swipe to the side does not fix. This then makes the phone inaccessible because my pattern lock no longer acknowledges my touch as a notification is now taking the space above it. It is not a hard lock of the phone far as I can tell as my device doubles as my main MP3 playback device and the audio continues playing, the volume rocker increases and decreases the volume levels and the power button turns the screen off and then off again. This has also occured when switching to the lock screen camera where the screen gets half way between screens and then locks into place
Third, last time on the screen, I promise. What has happened today and several times prior to today is that sometimes when I lock the device and turn off the screen via the power button I can then not turn the screen back on via said power button. So today I had this happen while playing music and just like the issue above I could once again control volume but my screen whould not turn on unless I did a full reset via power/vol down. Funny thing is that the snap shot notification goes off when doing this but the screen doesn't come back.
I do use the music control lock screen features off PowerAMP on my pattern screen but I had never experience issues like the above three on stock.
Forth, my GPS is now useless. Though I have an Otterbox Commuter Series case, I have a hard time believing this at fault for absoulutly no ability at using GPS. In my profession I act as a service tech some weeks and may in fact need to be dispatched out to a site I may have never been to before. The GPS on my phone is a life saver as I'm a horrible driver and get lost often, I tend to stay in a lot. Anyways, I tried using it my last service call for Google Maps and though it found where I was, it was unable to give me instructions on the way to the site as it kept claiming the GPS signal was lost. It did provide turn-by-turn instructions which helped but made my journey that mach more difficult. Maybe an app issue but I had my mobile and GPS on pluse setting my options between battery and high accuracy to no avail.
WCDMA stopped working
Since I installed this rom my 3G (WCDMA) signal stopped working. Could anyone help me fix this?

Strange issue.
No other report found about the exact same thing ... but about a similar one: LG G2 and the LAG/STUTTERING issue.
There the lag was caused by many installed apps + a lot of widgets on the home screen.
If this is not the cause in your case, please ask in the [HELP THREAD][Noob Friendly] LG G2 Ask any question thread.
There are many experienced users of the same device helping others.
Thread closed and thank you.
So i've searched around and couldn't find anything exactly like what i am experiencing. So on any rom either stock or lollipop custom etc, after a day of use without reboot my touch screen becomes weird ghost touches random click keep opening app and its all over the screen not just one place, before this happens say i'm scrolling chrome when i scroll up works perfectly but when i scroll down its completely unresponsive. Basically i'm just asking for some advice before i take it back to the shop i purchased it from. Does anyone have ideas about what could cause this and what i should specifically say to the store of purchase when taking it back?
Bump
