Hi all i have new Lenovo PB1 770m I attempted to root it the TWRP was installed but it was not rooted
then I tried to update the firmware to the latest 151111 and no go, in the end i managed to delete the operating system so now I can boot to recovery mode only, When I try to restart it comes up with No OS Installed, I have tried to install xposed v79 sdk21 arm64zip no go, Ok now I know that I am an IDIOT for
not making a backup of original system and not cheking the firmware was the same as the root guide,
On the top of recovery screen is :- 2.8.7.7 SevenMaxs and TeamWin Recovery Project, I guess this could
be an expensive lesson, I have been looking for an original ROM with no luck so any help would be very
much appreciated, Thanks pluto1956, Mike

Hello guys I have just bought a lenovo k3 note and I want to root my device but the problem is the international version of the phone is Lenovo k50t5 while the indian version is Lenovo k50a40 so the tutorials given don't work on my mobile. I have tried them and the problem arises after flashing the CWM recovery.img. After flashing the recovery.img it is said that we have to power off the mobile and switch it on while holding both the volume keys as well as the power button this will boot the device in CWM recovery from where we can install superuser.zip.But after flashing the recovery.img successfully when I try to boot into CWM recovery it always boots into lenovo recovery with three options 1)Reboot 2)Wipe users data 2)install update . I thought of installing the superuzer.zip from the third option but I am worried that I may brick my device so I need a solution or some advice as I am new to all this....
I have another question when I try to install gameloft games on my lenovo k3 note from sources other than play store it does not install and it says" The package duplicate permission null". I want to ask that if I root my device will I be able to install cracked or modded apks from other sources ?

Now i need help to root my Phone, I know that there are hundreds of threads on rooting and Roms. I don't know where to start.
because all threads start differently for me, Just guide me to a thread which has the right stuff for a beginner.
More info about my device.
Model - D6603
Android Version - 6.0.1
Build Number - 23.5.A.1.291
A Little after help like Tips to Install Supersu, Titanium backup, Xposed Frameworks ( Only Thing i Know is the Names) will be helpful.
I'd also be very keen to know this! Without a bootloader unlock.

no , dont extract.
just rename and place the file/s on the following destination C:\Users\(your user name)\.flashTool\firmwares
then open flashtool, , it'll appear where the firmware appears.
alternatively , you can use an app called, Kingroot, to root the device (simple)... and then install recovery as instructed in that post.
Quite Easy, just follow these steps and download some files;
1. Download D6603_23.0.A.2.93 Kitkat firmware and flash via flashtool,
2. Then download GIEFROOT ROOT and root Kitkat with GIEFROOT,
3. Download XZ DUAL RECOVERY for Z3, and Install recovery via PC,
4. After installing recovery, download flashable .291 MM Update and flash it through recovery!!!
5. Hurrah!!! Enjoy the newly rooted device!!!
*Search on XDA for required files or, ask me.
1-Make bootloader unlocked.
2-Install TW-RP
3-Flash the prerooted .291 kernel number rom or another prerooted rom.

Hi guys, I received yesterday my Oukitel k10000 pro. I put in root a dozen MTK phones but this one is very annoying.
I tried to make a root by fastboot by first unlocking the boot and then flashing the recovery with TWRP. with needrom method . Result: bricked phone, blocked on the start logo.
Required to flash with the original rom with the utility SP flash tools: always "ERROR: STATUS_BROM_CMD_DA_FAIL (0xC00660003)"
finally it works if I format memory first ... the original rom is reinstalled but I lost nvram ... arrrrrrrggggggg
My phone is now in stock, but I lost my Imei ... dirt.
I was able to install TWRP via fastboot on the second try, TWRP starts in Russian and does not recognize the size of partitions that do all 0KB and can not mount partitions ..... I think this version of TWRP is not compatible yet with this phone!
I do not know what to do to root this damn phone properly.
*Has anyone managed to root this phone properly?
EDIT: Finally Nvram restored with SN_Writer_Tool_v1.1728 . Exellent software.

Wrote imei manually in engineering mode cause i not found it
The twrp on first post cause bootloop someone need to delete it...
BTW this is my temporary solution for root and use this phone:
1) i downgraded the phone to the previous build
2) after that I lose imiei
3) flashed twrp by needrom NB. (When u open this twrp u need to flash supersu or will get bootloop)
4) It will boot and u will get root
5) open engineering menu and open GPRS section, then fill imei manually and press write, reboot and voilà imei back and phone rooted.
Problems:
-U can't boot twrp after that or u will get bootloop(I think) if someone's want to test...
-U need to stay on older build to have it working
-If u upgrade u lose root
-SuperSU not pass safety net
Pro:
-U have root and imei back
Ps. I'm totally a noob on battery related stuff... I bought this phone for his battery... But my question is: after all this flash to get all working (before found this solution I flashed like 20 times) I need to make a cycle of battery charge or it is OK? Thanks
MT6755
Hey!
Anyone knows that is there a rom for MT6755? I have that version on my K10000 Pro,
and currently phone is without an OS.. So im kinda stuck in here.
Or is it that i just don't know what im doing..? ^^ First time rooting.
It went sideways, and phone has only twrp flashed.
Personally, I resold it. the sound is really execrable.
The K10000 max impressed me so I ordered one despite I dont real need one
I hope OREO will come soon
there is a new version on needrom.com OUKITEL_K10000_Pro_V6.0_20170726. but the recovery from V.1 is not working.. (cant go to reecovery and creates bootloop) if u find a new recovery pls post it here. Thx in advance!

You have the BLU Studio J1 - S050Q - MT6570 - Android 6.0 Marshmallow - 512RAM - 8GB ROM.
So my question can be funny. But need.
You searched any custom recovery for your device before asking here?
If yes: So you have 2 ways. 1) Got to link and the guys create one to you => TWRP Builder
Read all thread!!
2) send me 3 files from stock ROM (same build version ROM of your device): recovery.img - boot.img - scatter....txt
If you don't have stock ROM, so I can't help!!
You need know about tool process to flash files.
READ this!!
About TWRP question:
1- is need anyone with experience (or courage to do) to flash stock files with SPFT.
IYou can able to do a backup stock ROM with SPFT if build version ROM is different from firmware. Then you will be able to flash the test file.
2- is need know if need unlock bootloader or not.
The first moment NO UNLOCK! If the file test not boot so is need Unlock to know if work file test.
3- I not need phone in my hands. But is very easy and fast solving issues when have its.
Because is more easy to repair phone if anything wrong happens. So the risk and responsability is of the user!!

I have some experience with flashing devices, and I am aware of some of its basic principles and what It means. I am willing do it myself and take the risk, given I wont need get or purchase extra hardware for it. I assume with SPFT is some sort of tool that I can use to extract my current ROM build and flash?

With Custom recovery you can flash SuperSu or Magisk to have Root. Marshmallow ROM has the part that no good to Root with apps (in first released. But can have modified.).
So You can try some apps or software to have Root like kingroot (I don't like that but...). Search in xda!
Stock ROM: click in the link first post have Source Code going to thread with firmware and SEARCH if exist.
On that can have recovery.img file.
If not: send me PM and I show for you.
Your MT6570 can have difficulty or easy. All depend of your knowledge, courage and attempts!
Obviously, with security is better!!

i Have a Blu S1 (Blu R1 HD 2018) rooted with magisk and i did a working TWPR ported from Doogee Y6, but my problem is that when i boot in TWPR it ask for a patron to decrypt data. I draw the patron but it fail to decrypt (can use normaly) and internal storage shows 0MB.
Recovery shows a partition called /System Image" with 2650Mb and /Data with around 12Gb
Any way to fix this issue?
Edit: I did a factory reset. Now the internal storage is fixed and TWPR dont ask for decryp data. But the Wipe Data delete the files in internal storage

You have the BLU S1 - S0320WW - MT6750 - Android 7.0 Nougat - 2 GB RAM - 16GB ROM.
For TWRP 3.2.x (either the kernel with Marshmallow or Nougat) it is necessary to perform a data reset (WIPE - FORMAT DATA) part so that the TWRP recognizes the data structure in the phone. This is required for TWRP to also see internal storage.
For people who do not know, there is currently a patch.zip called disable_encryption (forceencrypt=> encryptable). But it should be done particularly for an MT6750 with Android 7 or someone else making one for /or you do yourself.
With the option made in FORMAT DATA the device will start the ROM as factory.
That's why I always write something that people should know about like the attacked image.
Obviously, after installing TWRP you could use a MicroSD to back up your data. But, since you have already reset ....
Regarding partitions do you need to know, compare and confirm if the TWRP coming from the donor has the same partitioning structure as your phone.
If everything works out well, congratulations and good luck! :fingers-crossed:
@lopestom intentionally i reset factory to remove the data encryption and it worked. TWRP shows all the partitions with the available space.
What I want is to be able to do in the future, to clean Data without removing files from internal storage (music, pics)
Could that be possible?
I compared the partition table of both and they are the same.
The difference between the devices more than everything, is in ram and storage.
Hace the same mt6750

Well. If you or other user installing TWRP in first time so yes, need FORMAT Data. But installing universal disable encrypt patch and Root so I think the users no lost internal storage. Obviously if TWRP look internal storage after install that files....
If no, so need FORMAT Data. In this case that's need only in first install TWRP. After that no need same process....
Two ways for no lost files: 1) put files in the Microsd. 2) in each period you can copy files to your PC or host/server like google photos, drive, etc...

You can try the KingRoot option from here. It worked on my Blu Studio One Plus. It says 2018 but its updated 2019 in the actual post. But in reality, nothing probably changed from the previous year to this year

Hello lopestom, thank you for the TWRP for the Blu Studio One Plus. I tried getting the file from Android File Host but it kept telling me that access was denied to me there. Luckily I found it here.
I am hoping you can help me as I now want to use TWRP and magisk to root my device instead of the kingroot that I used previously.
Can you upload the stock boot.img for the Blu Studio One Plus? I'm trying to flash the stock firmware once more onto the device so It can hopefully fix some problems I'm having. After removing kingroot, it's being pesky and not letting me fully remove root and is at times stuck in a bootloop or not wanting to boot properly at all.
I'm able to access factory mode, standard recovery mode, and go into fastboot. But I'm afraid to create my own boot.img from it's current state, fearing the current problems will persist. The latest firmware I have is BLU_S0130UU_V14_GENERIC
Thank you for any help you can provide.

I found the TWRP from your downloads link in you= first post and then with even more searching I found a stock image here on XDA for the phone. Thank you for your help!
Well, i tried rooting my device (Marshmellow) with both methods (www) andro4all (.) com/2016/01/rootea-moto-g-en-un-click (www) quora (.) com/How-can-I-root-my-Moto-G3-running-in-Android-6-0-1-marshmallow
But when i install the recovery, the device enters in bootloop, in the first method i can flash the supersu file successfully, but it doesn't rooted the device, after that i tried flashing roms and other supersu zip and i don't have any backup because I had already rooted a device before and because of how reliable the previous pages looked like. Any idea what to do at this point?
Any help is appreciated

You can find better information on rooting your device here on XDA.
Use the latest TWRP recovery from twrp.me for your device.
Try using magisk as your root solution. Magisk can be found here on XDA.
I would not recommend using Supersu.
You can try flashing a Nougat ROM for your device.
If necessary you can find a stock ROM for your device and instructions on how to revert to stock here on XDA.

Edit: Ok, so i downloaded again the files, and everything it's fine!, it was the sdcard the one was giving problems. Thanks for your help!
