I had a huge problem with my phone after trying to flash a new rom, my phone got brick and i was able to fix it by flashing with odin a firmware and right after the firmware finish going into recovery mode (which is no longer TWRP) and doing a factory reset.
now, everytime that i try to root my device, either with cf-root or twrp my phone goes into boot loop, and the only why to fix it is by doing what i did the first time! (flashing the firmware etc).
Im pretty sure that the problem is somehow related to the red lettering sentece i get in the top left conrer once the phone is in the boot screen (Recovery is not seandroid enforcing) I had this message also everytime well having the old rom but the phone worked fine.
what can I do to fix it, and is it possible that the problem doesnt related to the red message.
P.S - after flashing the firmware and doing factory reset and booting the phone, the message in the top left corner doesnt appearce
which model are you using and are you on the latest android update ? I'm pretty sure you are in DOL5 , if yes then you have to download dok9 and flash that firmware then proceed with root

I need help
I have a Tmobile Galaxy s4 M919.
After the 4.3 update, i am not able to completely flash a stock rom in order to have my phone working again.
Tried root, tried CWM ot TWRP, Odin stock, Kies, but every attempt got stuck for ever on the boot logo screen with blue letters on the left hand up corner saying recovery booting.
I can't access download mode but not recovery.
Only onceworked, and i could flash thru KIES and the download screen after that shown:
System Official Samsung
Binary Official.
After that i start to have an issue with SIMCARD non detected, and had to restart and never worked again.
Seems like Knox is dealing with custom rom or bootloader and keeps on bootlogo screen.
Any help will n]be very appreciated.

Best thing to do is use odin on your pc and get the stock rom from samsung or another source, then completly flash it so it will wipe out you phone completly and then reinstall stock. This happened to my m919. If you need more help on how to completly replace the stock rom using odin there are plenty of videos that show you step by step. You just soft bricked your phone so it's fixable.

I have flashed several times via odin and kies, but everytime i still with Binary Official and System Custom.
Seems like the flash does not overwrite the kies bootloader, thats why i am stuck on boot revovery.
Once it worked, the system and binary became official, then i flashed knox free stock rom via recovery.
As i told, i can acces download but not recovery.
Does anyone know any knox free stock rom flashable via odin???
I have a huge problem!
I flashed the twrp (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/development/rom-aterminatorg920f3zpa1m-6-0-11-0b-t3295183 ) via odin ,as said, and then the phone stayed in download mode instead of rebooting or saying something like "finish" (in odin i got a message that the process successed) only the writing "dont turn the phone off". it stay like this for a long time so i had turn the phone off and since then the phone doesnt go past the samsung s6 logo screen and can be booted into recovery mode in any way!!
Ive tried reflashing twrp (many versions) and to use every other combination to get into Recovery mode (so i could do a factory reset or a data wipe) but it doesnt work.
I had this issue. It was because I was running the latest 5.1.1 update and couldn't flash TWRP. My solution was to use odin to flash stock recovery.
Hope that helps
where cani find stock recovery?
I've been trying to flash TWRP recovery via Odin on my S7 (G930W8), however I would constantly get the verification error. Now I'm trying to reflash the stock firmware but it gave me a Fail on Odin. This is probably my fifth time reflashing the stock rom, and it worked previously today but then it decided it had enough and started giving me a bootloop I guess lol. But yeah, everytime I try reflashing the stock now it fails to do so. I'm absolutely sure I have the right firmware.
My phone is stuck on a bootloop now with the Samsung text and black screen. I can get to TWRP recovery via volume up, power button, and home button, but I can't really do anything there, not even full wipe as it tells me it couldn't mount or something. I can get to Download mode though.
Any advice? I'm really stuck right now.
EDIT: So it looks like this worked: I turned off the device via recovery mode, and then flashed my stock firmware.
Hey, first post on here so not sure if this is in the right place but here goes.
the phone randomly turned off last night and has been stuck in a bootloop since, when I go into recovery mode its showing that manual mode has loaded, successfully applying multi-CSC at the bottom of the screen but other than that the screen is black.
It isn't rooted and the bootloader is locked, I'm really at a loss for possible ways to fix so any advice whatsoever would be appreciated.
The device is Booting to Bootloader/ Flash mode?
If yes, i recomend to flash Latest Stock Firmware with odin for your Phone Region/ Model,
Download firmware in SamMobile/ SamsungFirmwares
Hello, my problem is that I flash "Twrp_3.2.3-1_a750.tar" with ODIN in order to try and root my SM-A750FN device.
After I flash it and ODIN sais PASS, I get out of download mode and immediatly enter recovery mode. At that point the teamwin logo flashes on the screen and then the phone shuts down. The phone boots up again, tries to go into recovery mode again at which point it goes into a kind of bootloop to teamwin logo and after a few tries it just stays closed, doesnt take anymore commands (dl, recovery, etc.) and starts to heat up like he is still bootlooping just doesnt show on the screen. I let the battery drain, i go into download mode and install stock firmware. I know long story.
SHORT STORY: SM-A750FN wont go into TWRP recovery, when i try to go to recovery mode it bootloops to TWRP logo. I would like to solve this in order to root it.
I specify that i have changed the firmware(rom) on the device, the original one worked with TWRP, I tried the latest firmware I could find for two separete regions and both have the same behavior.
Thanks in advance!
Re-flash the original ROM to get rid off of the failed TWRP installation.
Hello, thanks for the answear. Do you have any idea where to get the original rom from? I dont have it anymore as i din't make a back-up before flashing the ones that i got from the internet. I already tried to flash 2 stock roms from the internet and they dont seem to work with twrp.
Request it from OEM / Carrier.
BTW: It's NOT the installed ROM that doesn't work with TWRP but it's TWRP that doesn't work with installed ROM. Take note that TWRP rewrites portions of installed ROM.
I see, so I should request it from Samsung? Also thanks for you answears, i think i'll try atleast one older ROM for my phone, maybe TWRP will work with that. Thanks!
