[Q] samsung galaxy s2 firmware problem

hi i bought a galaxy s2 sim free from amazon which i have decided to install a o2 sim card, anyway i was having so many problems upgrading my firmware to 2.3.4 useing Kies, in the end i decided to do it with Odin but heres the problem, i think i flashed my phone with a french firmware as im missing alot of content on the market place (my gf has the same phone and she can download things that dont appear for me) been in settings and made sure show all etc is ticked in the market but makes no difference, also the swipe keyboard dictionary was using a foreign dictionary i have changed that but still doesnt seem right so i was wondering if anyone can help me get the official 2.3.4 english firmware that i will be able to reflash my phone with using odin, i have searched everywhere and downloaded firmware from here but they dont come with PIT PDA file etc so i cant use them, im really stuck and any help will be much appreciated my phone version i have at the minute is XXKG1.

[Q] Vodafone 845 ruined!

Hi, well i rooted my vodafone 845 some time ago but i have serious problems now. At first i tried set cpu well it was fun but it like crashed and nothing helped, i didint know what to do, so i rooted it again like i did the first time i used fzf eclair 5.2 rom and then my camera did not always work, well i thought maybe it will work if i root it again. And it didint it f****d even more i followed alls the steps carefully but now the camera doesnt work at all and i cant even lock the phone it has no lock! When i rooted it i deleted the firmware backup so i dont have one now. I have only a New zealand fimrware from Huaweidevice com and i dont know how to write it in to phone. And a other problem is that i live in lithuania and i dont know if it will work fine with it. Guys please dont ignore this thread i dont know how to fix this phone i am a noob at rooting and rom writing. If somebody would help i would be really thankefull.
P.S
i am from lithuania so i think i need lithuanian firmware. And huawei device com only has new zealand and they deleted the other country firmwares dont know why.

[Q] CUBOT ONE - Bricked - Chinese android phone

Hi everybody,
recently i bought phone from China - Cubot ONE. I've been happy with it until i lost signal bars and cant connect to any network. So i google it and i found out how to fix it. Just reflash your firmware with another one. So i could not find any FW for Cubot so i downloaded for Cubot GT99 what is very similar phone and i hoped its would be working. Unfortunetly its didnt work good. After flashing this FW i could not switch on my phone or get to the recovery. I think its probably hard bricked, but iam not sure if its can be fixed when i send it back to supplier or if its any chance to do it by myself... Please iam desperate and i need any advice. Thanks.

what kind or core does Ur phone have?
I have a mtk6575 azense one, and as far today I couldn't find the original rom (i have backup of the original rom)
and I see a "universal mtk6575 rom" on internet, but I dont trust in it. because I read it can be dangerous using a kernel
from other models.
If u cant access to the recovery to flash another you may need to use "Flash tool" with the correct rom it'll fix the bricked status
I also use MTK droid tools
I have my backup but I doubt it will work on yours.

Hello, Thanks for your reply. I already sort that out. I use MTK droid tools to flash older android on my Cubot One. I think its was hard bricked, because i cant switch it on. So i try just put cable in with removed battery and hold down volume down button and after that my windows recognise phone and install driver. So i quickly flash it with stock android v0.3 and its works. But unfortunately still i could not get any network. There show me just no service... I find out that maybe i have lost imei, so i put it back with MTK Android tools. Now i got Imei numbers for both sim cards, it can recoginze my network provider but still ŃO SIGNAL! Could anybody tell me what is wrong now? I have no idea. Thanks anyway for any ideas. Regards.
Its quad core MTK 6589T, 1GB RAM, 8GB Rom, with two sim slots.

SM-J7108 Problems.

Hello guys,my friend got this (SM-J7108) phone in Romania some weeks ago from emag.ro (A trusted seller). After a time the phone got an update and he made it, now there is no more romanian language, he can't use frontal camera or flash. He made factory reset, from the android and the recovery. I wanted to flash the android with odin but i saw that the phone is for Asia market and can't find the rom, is that true? And what can i do? He sent me photos with the box, a lot of chinese things on the box but the recovery is full in english, no chinese at all. I told him to make a ticket on the seller site to solve the problem but i first want to know more details about this phone and what really happened here. Thanks ! xD

Convert canadian g930w8 into european g930f

Hi people.
The motherboard of my G930F breaks down and I bought a new one from one seller.
Seller tolds me that my contry language was in the menus (spanish).
I just mount the mainboard and the phone works fine, but maybe the 75% of the menu texts appear in english.
I tryed to translate them with morelocale or some other apk's but the device must be rooted or make it by ADB.
Now, the seller is telling that I can flash a G930F firmware in my G930W8, because is "the same device".
I don't now certanly if this is real or not.
Can you help me? Thx in advance

They both use the same exynos could buy you can't flash 930f firmware to the 930w8 with Odin.
The model number in download mode will always be 930w8.

Yes, since it's the Canadian version, I would imagine the W8 ROM's Spanish language abilities would be limited. Even if there's a Spanish language option in the menus, Samsung wouldn't put the effort into translating the whole OS for something they're only selling in Canada, a country that speaks English and French. What you could do, though, is flash an Exynos custom ROM, which will work with W8 or F, and change your CSC (that stands for country specific phone, it tells Android which language and location to use by default) to Mexico-Unlocked or Spain-Unlocked. There are some Claro CSCs in there too, if you're in one of the many Spanish-speaking countries where they have a monopoly and you need their official apps to recognize your phone as a Claro phone. Just to warn you, if your phone has the Oreo update, this might not work, because even if you flash the Nougat recovery and bootloader, there's no guarantee that TWRP would be able to format /data and mount /system in the Oreo ROM to actually flash the Nougat ROM. If it fails, no worries, a program called "Samsung Smart Switch" can get you back on the working stock ROM with the press of a button. Even if it does work, though, you'll be downgrading to the 1.5-year-old Nougat, which you might not want. The SuperMan ROM developer says Oreo is coming soon though, he wasn't able to do it yet because he was in the hospital with a medical emergency until about a month after Samsung released the official F/FD/W8 Oreo Touchwiz ROM, so it's just a matter of patience. Your comment sounds like you can speak fairly good English, so hopefully you can make calls, text, and bookmark the Spanish versions of your favorite websites until a stock-based Oreo ROM comes out. I don't think it will take any longer than another month.
