Lg leon low storage memory HELP please flash other stock rom ! - General Questions and Answers

Hello, i currently have an LG H340N LTE smartphone and i have the europian vodafone version. Out of the box it comes with 3,45gb internal memory space but only 3.06 is usable (i uninstalled all the preinstalled apps that i could). The System Data (OS) takes about 4,63 gb. I am pretty desperate as i need at least those 450mb of extra space (it would be so great!) I saw on the internet other versions of H340N and they came with 3.45 gb usable space out of the box, i don't know why so i was thinking maybe of flashing another STOCK LG rom that has those 450 mb extra free internal storage space without losing my warranty or something. Please could someone skilled and kind enough help me with this one? I would greatly appreciate it !! thanks alot !!

you can root phone change rom kernel and whatever you find for your phone, when you use the tool of lg for restore the phone it will compleatly reset to stock rom like a new one!
using the lg tool for updating/debrand you're phone does not brake your warranty in most case, and if it will you can restore the version that you have now and nothing have never been happened! ?

download it before you try to modding and try to reflash stock, if it will you are in safe because is similar to flash factory images on nexus device, it will reflash rom recovery and everything!

I attached the picture with the tool. I am afraid that if i try to install any other roms i will brick my phone or something i want to NOT lose warranty =(

maybe you need a internet connection
Yeah I know
I m connected to internet and currently replying with dolphin browser HD on my tf300
do you have root by any chance?
Yes I said that in first post
might i suggest doing a backup then full reset
lemme do a full TiBu syc it to dropbox and run it!!!
sorry to bring this back from the dead, but i am running into another problem with the unlock tool.
its giving me the "cannot unlock bootloader. please try later"
after reading some stuff it seems the root or the .30 firmware is to blame. is this correct?
whats the best way to unroot? just through sparky root app?
i would do an app backup with titanium, move it over to my PC, factory reset, install the asus app, then unlock...correct? does unlocking the bootloader wipe the internal memory? like will i have to transfer all my videos back over to the tablet afterwards?

use OTA Rootkeeper from the Play Store to backup root, then unroot, then unlock.
okay i contacted the asus support via telephone!!!
gave all the details
after 3 hours i got a call saying that the Serial Number I provided was for The Docking Station and not the Tablet!!!
I said no its for a tablet not for the docking station!!!!
Ok well i am still getting the error.
I in rooted and that didn't work
So then I factory reset and I am now on stock .30 firmware and it still isn't working. Is this something I have to contact Asus about?
here is what happened when i contacted ASus
they said that asus doesnt provide any support on UNlocking
if if the device doesnt work!!!
so i had them amde an rma on a non existent issue, but i later realised i could tell them that i cannot OTA
after i made the call i got a call back stating that sir is the s/n correct? cause their database showed it was a Transformer Pad DOcking station and not the dock!
i still havent been able to unlock, but m gonna wait till a new OTA comes and den RMA about this issue
any more help?
Hi, I have the same problem after repair. I just made a call to my customer service and they told me that they put new software into repaired devices and I need to wait for new version of unlockig tool. Sorry for my bad english.

If your having issues with the rom (and not sending the phone back), you could just try and flash a stock or stock based ROM and keep cwm. Its always good to have a backup option.

In order to flash an ota update you have to have the stock recovery among other things. You first problem is trying to ota with TWRP.

Flash the stock recovery. If you've changed any system files, chances are that won't work either. In that case, either revert the changes you've made to whichever system files you've changed or start over and flash a RUU to get back completely to stock.
Also, if you've removed any of Verizon's bloat, it will fail. There's a lot of things like this that can make it fail. If you aren't sure what you've changed and can't put it back the way it was when stock, it's probably easiest to just RUU and get back to stock that way. You'll be starting all over again but it might be easier than trying to figure out what changes you've made that are giving you trouble.
Also, if you're running a custom rom, it will fail. You need to be stock for it to work. S-Off isn't a problem and I don't believe being rooted is either. But the OS itself pretty much needs to be stock.
Trust me when I say that I'm trying to be helpful. You need to do some reading.
You could flash a copy of the stock recovery the same way you flashed twrp and if you didn't modify you system files much/any then you may be able to take the ota after that. Another option would be to run the ruu that doddat posted in his very useful thread. Alternatively, you could just flash 4.4.4 firmware and a sense based rom.
Back to my first point. You are bordering on messing with some things that could seriously cripple your expensive phone and your questions imply that you don't quite know what you're doing. I would recommend you read read read. Read all the stickies in each of the Verizon m8 subforums. Read up on fastboot and adb. You should fully understand the command "fastboot flash <partition> <filename>". It's concerning to not know how to get rid of twrp when you or (worse yet) someone else have already flashed it once.
There are very smart and very helpful people here who will help you if you get into trouble but the responsibility is yours till try and avoid those situations by educating yourself first. Best of luck and happy flashing.

I figured it out i just re-flashed stock recovery, updated then re-flashed TWRP and installed Viperone rom

Cant get twrp working

I updated my phone to nougat and immediately regretted it. Tried reverting and it worked sort of. Stuck on ancient russian firmware on NXT-L29C636B211. It really sucks and when i flash twrp its stuck at my device is booting. Im not sure what to do at all. Can anyone help me out here? I really need a bail out. I cant use any update packages outside of C636's line of firmwares.

If you flash the twrp for mate 9, this will happen. I tried it and obtained the same effect. I had to flash another twrp from this site
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/twrp-nougat-edition-t3504140
It is for the honor 8 but your mate 8 will be able to get into this recovery although not all functions work. However from this recovery you can still reboot, power off, go to recovery or to bootloader.
Ok so i got the twrp working, but now its deciding not to install any rom at all. It does the entire process as if it did and when i check for any install it says theres no OS.

You cannot use this twrp to install any rom. You need to use the dload method. If you want to go back to emui 4 or 4.1 you need to dload the update.app in the rollback package then dload the emui 4 rom.

This is the result of the "anti-rollback" protection feature in the device that prevents earlier (official) versions from being used. You need to find a newer version of the firmware or use the Samsung Kies while it's in the emergency (bootloader) recovery mode.
