not work power buttom

1. Take the battery out of the phone and unplug it from USB power.
2. Plug in USB power.
3. While holding down the volume-down button and the Home button, insert the battery (this is a little tricky).
4. The phone should start and warn you that you are entering Download mode.
5. Press Volume Down to reboot and then *immediately* push and hold Volume Up and Home simultaneously. The phone should reboot into recovery. Mine does.

You do realize this is Samsung S6? It doesn't have a removable battery.
@zliludak Take your phone back where you bought it for replacement.

if you dont get any response from your volume buttons, you can use odin. theres a thread here that explains how to do it through odin.

I read somewhere about taking the battery out and then plugging in the phone to usb with ADB running, or was it ODIN, it should boot in to download mode, and from there you can get in to recovery, I seen it done on youtube as well, I think you might need to press the volume up button when you put the battery in, hope it helps

rooted but can't get to custom recovery

I have had my tf101 for sometime and I rooted it very early but every time I try to get a custom recovery installed it never seems to work.
I have checked that I am rooted and its a fact. When I tried installing CWM recovery it appears that it installs but when I hold down the volume down and power button I get the normal boot and not booted into recovery.
If I use terminal to SU and then REBOOT RECOVERY the same thing happens, it boots to the normal android.
I currently have 4.0.3 installed. I can use several apks that require root and they all work fine.
I need some direction.....Thanks in advance.
When you hold VOL DOWN and POWER for 12-15 seconds, there is some white text that appears that says PRESS VOL UP to enter RCK. Did you release and tap VOL UP at this point?
Also, what method did you use to install the recovery? Please tell me you did not use ROM Manager. If you did, please do NOT use it. See HERE for the reason why.

How do I turn s6 off when it enters a bootloop?

How do I turn a s6 off when it enters a bootloop? I have a s5 and when it enters a bootloop I can just take out the battery. But how do I do that on a s6? Because the battery is not removable.
I think down volume home button and power button creates a reset

If at the Samsung screen you switch to up volume it gives a turquoise screen with galaxy written at the bottom.
I have not flashed or any thing so not sure what this mode is for

It's simple.
You don't.
But how do you power off the S6 when it is in a bootloop or such?
Is there a key combo that makes the S6 go off?
Hold volum up +volume down+ home+power button when its off release volume down keep holding the rest until you go inside revovery mode then choose power off
This is the only way to turn it off there no other way

Power off the phone completely.Make sure to plug the USB Cable into your PC, don’t plug it into your device just yet.Press and hold Volume UP button of your Xperia.
– do not release the button.Plug the USB cable into your smartphone now.Fastboot Mode should appear and the phone’s LED light will be BLUE

Hard bricked my Samsung Galaxy Gt-I 8262

I wanted to install lollicop ROM that I downloaded from a thread in this forum.
It happened when I flashed TWRP by Rashr App and rebooted my phone
It got stuck on screen that's saying
[ODIN3]
PRODUCT: GT-I8262
VERSION: I 8262XXBNH1
HW REV: 8
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: NO
CURRENT BINARY: SAMSUNG OFFICIAL
SYSTEM STATUS: CUSTOM
and below it a green Android logo followed by
Downloading......
Do not disconnect USB cable during the software update!
I tried everything,
Volume up+ home+ power
Volume down+home+power
Removed battery
Connected to PC with kies installed but Odin couldn't detect it so can't install recovery from PC
fastboot is not detecting my device
installed latest drivers for Galaxy core but still nothing
Please show me a way if I could do anything with the help of phone or my PC
I don't want to change motherboard guys please help:crying:
This happened to me. You might have gone in recovery using rashr. Just use volume dn+ home + power until you see warning keep holding vol dn and home but leave the power when phone vibrate.
Note - keep holding the two until you see a warning and press vol up on warning. Odin will detect you

But You need odin
---------- Post added at 09:37 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:36 AM ----------
And restart using it
---------- Post added at 09:37 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:37 AM ----------
If works pls like
finally solved it
if other users facing same problem here is the solution stepwise
1. install samsung drivers from the original website of samsung only or from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=961956, there are a lot of drivers available on the internet don't pay attention on them, they don't work
2. download odin latest version
3. go into download mode- switch off the device
long press volume down+power+home button simultaneously, when the phone vibrates or something comes on screen, leave all butten,
you'll see a screen with two options
1. continue
2. restart phone
press volume up key for continue, now you see a logo of android and downloadin on screen-- hurrey- you're in download mode
4. connect your phone to pc with an original data cable
5. odin will detect your device where the ID is written, if it doesn't change port or usb
6. install twrp recovery on your phone with odin, download it from this post its working http://www.techdroider.com/2015/01/cwm-twrp-update-galaxy-core-i8262.html. chose PDA or AP option
7. when the odin displays pass disconnect phone
8. go into recovery mode- long press volume up+power+home all simultaneoulsy
when the logo of smasung appears leave the power key but keep pressing the volume up and home key
9. now you're in recovery mode, choose the download stock or custom rom from sd card,
there are other method too but i prefer this one, bcz its hasslefree and once you've installed custom recovery you don't need pc or any other thing to update or change your rom or whatever plus twrp supports touchscreen.
Thanks twrp and XDA for saving my money
WoW Alhamdulillah thanks brother :*
I have the same problem with you
You have saved my life and my money ^_^
