Is there any way to get Xposed to work with the LG G Stylo (MetroPCS)? I've tried searching this sub for it and can't find it.

Depends on what you want to do. GravityBox works. Youtube AdAway, Youtube Background playback, If you use Pandora. Pandora Patcher works.

you're welcome. i'm only using gravitybox and xstana, but db225 mentioned some other good ones. just look through the xposed modules forum and try the ones you're interested in...if they don't work you can just uninstall them :good:

then flash that zip in twrp...i dont know what flashfire is, i always flash everything through twrp and have never had a problem
then download this apk and install it after you flash the zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440

see above
also just to make sure...sdk22 is for lollipop, if you are on marshmallow you need to go up to the parent directory and select sdk23 > arm > select the latest zip file
Thank you! Flashed sdk22 v83 and no soft-bricks. Boyfriend is happy now. Thanks again.
BTW his phone is the T-mobile Stylo but I know they're basically the same as MetroPCS (in fact his service is MetroPCS.) So this works for the T-mobile phone too.

Are those 2 apps using same binary ?
Can I simply replace SuperSU apk in system/apps/ with ChainsDD superuser app, or I must something additionally ?
Thanks !
I think they are different binaries

Install the new superuser will prompt you to delete the old one. BTW "SuperSU" is the very best superuser access tool ever made in my opinion
Why not just uninstall the superuser first and then Flash the laster SuperSU

Means its not caused by S-ON. You just need a flashable zip of your superuser tool. But installing via play store is th easier choice i think.

I believe that you're using the incorrect Xposed. You need to be using the one's from Arter97 -xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon,xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-snapdragon or xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-snapdragon. You need to go to the unofficial xposed forum for our devices
This is my only limitation:
/* Prerequisite */
Due to my skills limitation, only deodex'ed ROMs are supported for now.
Install the ROM [VZW Stock Based TW Rom] [5.0 Lollipop BOK3 Build Deodexed]
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-s5/development/vzwstock-based-tw-rom-t3281095
And then install the version of Arter97 Xpossed -xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463
Now everything is going great in my Verizon S5
I was vzw stock based TWRom 5.0 Bok3 i then flashfired deodexed. It didn't appear to wipe the system files all my old files came back up, should i habe wiped first?

You guys just saved my day. BTW if the phone gets stuck in the Verizon screen after flashing with FlashFire, pull the battery and turn on again. Then it'll carry on to app update screen
Must be blind also
Hello,
I flashed the Snapdragon of Xposed through Safestrap, rebooted and the optimize screen came up and started the apps.
I went to the app drawer looking for Xposed and couldn't find it. Is it hiding some where? I'm sorry if this is a dumb question.
Thanks for your help.
PS: I didn't see any installer.

Xposed v80 test build. Deodexed ROM not required.
No Luck
I have the VZW_BOK3_STOCK_ROM_DEODEXED.zip and I've tried installing Xposed from snapdragon. I've tried through SafeStrap with the zip on both the ext sd card and the internal card and nothing happened except having the "apps compress" then home screen come up.
There is no "Loader", app, or apk for Xposed I just don't know where to go, or where it went.
I would like it installed.
You have to install the app seperately yourself.
This is Where?
I take it I can get it at the location in reply #14. Since that's a "Test" version is there a stable working version?
Thanks for your reply :cyclops:

I hope this wil help some users to update or remove Xposed without having to reinstall a ROM.
I posted this on another thread and I basically searched and read through Arter97's Unofficial Xposed forum to find out how and what's needed to uninstall Xposed without having bootloops. It's worked for me numeroustimes. So it should work for you as well. Just don't forget to make a backup just in case...
What I've read and found out on how to remove an xposed version to either remove or update, is to
- pull the original "core-libart.jar" from the rom you're using and replace it with the one in the system setting the correct permissions
- reboot to safestrap recovery and flash "xposed-uninstaller-arter97.zip"
- wipe cache and dalvek cache
- flash your kernel that you're using in your ROM
- reboot (it'll take a while to get to home screen, so be patient)
- xposed is now Uninstalled
- reboot to recovery if you're wanting to flash a different xposed version and do the wiping steps and flash kernel as before.
Hope this helps you and others. I've done this 10+ times with no issues from V65 to V75. I haven't tried v79 as of yet and from reading Arter97's thread it installs differently and I believe you have to use a different method. When I get a chance to install it, I'll try to uninstall and post back.

you can't with flashfire. and no recovery... hmmm.... use terminal emulator. It receives all super user shell permissions and i'm pretty sure you can side load and change the permissions. But not sure if it will work still cause of android se linux. plus you gotta side load the xposed framework too.
I use xposed-v85.1-sdk23-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20160528.zip to install the framework using flashfire..... Open flashfire, select zip. After zip is selected a pop-up appears, uncheck Mount/system read/write, so everything on that pop-up should be unchecked.. Select wipe cache, then flash.. This is how i got it working on my j700t1 and its the same process for the j700t (i know this because i bricked my t1, now i use the t firmware)... Let me know if this helped @brandonlee96

Hello, this is simple guide to root Oppo F1 Plus. No need to unlock bootloader :fingers-crossed:
This method worked and tested :highfive:
Yes i know there's another guide in this forum but it only link to youtube video tutorial.
First, download this update.zip and then copy it to your device (internal or MicroSD is allright, up to you)
*You can download file update.zip via attachment below
1. Go to recovery mode. Turn off your F1 Plus, wait for a second and then turn it on again with Power + Volume Down
2. Select language (english of course ahh is up to you)
3. Choose Install from storage and select update.zip
4. Wait the process (below 1 minute) and when it done just reboot system
5. Finishing updating and then check in your app drawer SuperSu should appear
6. Update SuperSU binary if needed
7. Done

There are instructions in a guide in this very section of this forum.
Works like a charm. Having recently purchased the phone I didn't want to root it. But after I realized that Oppo released the May firmware (around 1.3 GB) on their website. Everything works as it should. I'm hoping for an official forum with more stuff.
A question, what theme are you using with the default launcher?
