So today I was using my phone and then i could turn the screen back on. So i pulled out the battery and tried to turn it back on, however it didnt work. I tried plugging in the charger, but there wasn't any orange charging light (it was on around 60-50% battery when it stopped working). I tried connecting it to a pc, but there was nothing, i couldnt access the sd card and there was nothing on the device manager. I tried doing the volume down and power button and other stuff, after a while i managed to get the phone to boot up but it died before it made it to the lock screen (not charging). Is there away to fix it?

Try removing your battery and then plug in the cable connected to PC USB. I would also try doing the same with a unix based system, just to be sure that there are no driver issues(though windows should at least show an unrecognised device in device manager).
Also, can you keep it on charge for some time and see if the phone feels a bit hot...? If not, it seems to be hardware fault.

Maybe your phone is bricked, but the way you explained it seems like a hardware problem !
Do you have warranty ?
My device is D6603, already rooted in kitkat using giefroot, locked bootloader, "Z3-lockeddualrecovery2.8.15" installed.
I flashed the " D6603_23.1.A.1.28_Customized_NCB" firmware as "[D66XX]{5.0.2} Flashable stock Lollipop pre-rooted collection & XZ dualrecovery" post instruct, after that, the device restart, and I enjoyed lollipop for just a few minutes, after I open the Setting, the device first become no response, then screen is off, led off(even plug into adapter), no response no matter how hard i tried to press the power button, with vol+/- pressed together, no response at all!!
After one night leave it alone, i tried again, no response at all ,however, when i plugged into adapter, the led light became red, then after a while, it began to blink in red.
Please help me, what should i do with this condition?

You should reinstall your firmware using Sony PC companion. Download it and it will give you instructions how to repair your phone. Make sure you have all the necessary drivers installed. this is official and simple method to repair your phone
Secondly , you can alternatively use FLASHTOOL.
If you still have questions, quote for a reply

my phone is still bricked. when using flashtool in flashmode, connected to the PC, it repeats the following message:
INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
INFO - Device disconnected
Device connected with USB debugging off
For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
INFO - Device disconnected
and the led light is red on, then off, then on ....
if i try to connect it to the power adapter, the led light is red with fast blink. And I try to use another power adapter (iphone's ), the red light is on, continuously for about 20 minutes, then off, at this time ,if i try to reconnect to the power adapter, the led is still off. after try power button or vol+ button, then the led is back again , but with the same status.
is there anything I can do with my z3? I'm desperate...
thanks a lot !!

did you hold the Vol+ button when inserting the microusb? Also, the device must be completely off (power+vol+)

turn off your device.
Hold power+volume up button and then connect your device via a USB. If however, the device disconnects, you should keep holding the power button and do not leave it.
Lastly, upgrade your drivers from flashtool folder!
Good Luck

you mean inserting the microusb connected with power adapter using vol+button? I tried ,but the led light still fast blinking in red.
I thought maybe the fast blinking means the phone cannot charge in.

Do this , Make sure you load all the files in flashtool and it is waiting for the device.
When it is waiting to flash, hold down power+volume key and connect it. Connecting before means, you will have to hold it for a long time
If it doesnot work, your drivers are outdated which as i suggested upgrade from flashtool folder

no;
when NOT connected: press power + vol+. After that you get two vibrations from the device, this means the device is off.
after that, hold ONLY vol+, and connect it to your PC, with Flashtool waiting for the device using flashmode.
the device will never vibrate, no response at all!
I went to customer service yesterday, they said my device is completely no response to any test and need to change the mainboard....how could a basically flash(just flash 5.0.1 with bootloader never unlocked) will result in such a disaster?! I cannot understand!!
My Z3 was running a custom firmware perfectly and then I let it die, and couldn't charge it for a few days. Now I have had it plugged in for a while and tried many different cables and nothing. I tried holding soon power and volume up, I get 3 vibrations and then a solid blue light appears in the notification light. Same thing also happens when I press yellow reset, I get 3 vibrations. Computer doesn't seem to recognise the phone at all.
Hey Jolbol1,
So it turns out you've been booting your device into Fastboot mode if i'm correct - You've said your device vibrates 3 times when pressing the Yellow Reset button found underneath the microSD card flap, with this it leads me to believe there's still a chance to recover your phone as it's not completely dead, first off unplug your device (imagining it's in fastboot mode [Fastboot mode = Blue LED + Blank Screen]) this would take you out of fastboot mode and lead me to believe your device is now in it's off state, Now what i'd like you to perform is a Factory Reset, whether it's by Sony PC Companion or Flash Tool.
The Flashtool method is a lengthier and more difficult process in my own opinion, however it's the route i usually take in order (click here for a step by step guide on how to perform a factory reset with flashtool)
Additionally the method i'd recommend for you to try is first off download Sony PC Companion Once done, ensure Sony PC Companion is running, once checked plug the USB into your PC (ENSURE IT'S NOT CONNECTED TO YOUR PHONE YET) Hold the Volume Down button and plug the other end into your device this puts your device into flash mode, Next follow the instructions on screen and it'll re-install the software onto your device
Hi! I'd like some help.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e (SM-G970F).
The power button is faulty, I got it back from service yesterday, unfortunately it was not repaired because the device is rooted.
Before I handed it in for service, I was able to turn it on without the power button (download mode -> restart), but now the download mode is not available either.
And it doesn't indicate charging either, the display is completely black at all times.
Yesterday the computer recognized it as a drive, but it showed only one TWRP folder. Today, unfortunately, the computer does not even recognize it, nothing happens when the usb cable is connected.
Is it possible that the device has remained in some service mode?
Somehow I would have to reboot or get into download mode, I just don’t know how..
So now:
The display is completely dark.
It does not respond to buttons.
The power button is broken.
It does not indicate charging.
The download mode does not start.
The computer does not indicate a usb connection.
The adb doesn't see either: error '(null)' not found.
What can I do?
Probably is bricked by the shop you leave to repair, get back to them

Thanks for the suggestion.
I can't go back to the service now, I made a complaint in writing before yesterday about this, the investigation time is 30 days.
However, I have new news about the device.
I realized that the device itself works, only the display is always dark.
I disassembled, unplugged the battery from the motherboard, and switched back to download mode and Odin recognized it.
I managed to update the software on it, the device restarted fine, only the display is completely dark.
The computer already recognizes it, I can give a command via adb, and I can hear the volume button when pressed.
The only problem is that there is no picture on the display.
I reconnected the display connector to the motherboard, but that wasn't the problem.
When the power is off, the display does not indicate that the charger is connected.
Does anyone have any idea what else I can do?
Try this command (It toggles the display on and off ):
adb shell input keyevent KEYCODE_POWER

ever find em?
I just posted a bunch of my trial and error work at:
Post in thread 'Unable to enter EDL' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/unable-to-enter-edl.4288003/post-86868743
So far my thought on the LED flashing on my phone is that it happens when there is a "power-up". So if the battery is dead or disconnected, I'll get a flash when it's plugged in. If the battery isn't dead and it's connected, I don't think it flashes, and I assume it has something to do with power already being provided.
The confusing thing to me is that if I hold the power button for about 10 seconds, while plugged in, with the battery disconnected, the LED will flash. Also, if I hold the volume-down button, it will flash about every 20 seconds. But it doesn't flash when doing either of those things while the battery is connected.
Does any of this apply to your phone?
