CoverON DuraShield Series Case - Nexus 6P Accessories

Another one I haven't seen before with pretty good ratings and actually doesn't look half bad (plenty of colors if you don't like green).

Anyone tried this one? Looks like I may be able to use this in one of my existing holsters, but I like going by the opinions I see on here first.

anything similar to an incase for n1?

I was looking for a case for my nexus, preferably hardshell, and saw the incase for the iPhone. I really like the style and look and was wondering if anyone had come accross anything similar for the nexus? If so any pics?
The nexus is a brand new phone so there is really not that much of a choice as far as accessories goes. There is a high demand for cases for this phone. Give it some time and company's will be coming out with the cases we are looking for. At the mean time check out some of the other threads to see what is available to us.

Anyone Else See This Dock?

Just found this on ebay and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it, looks to be able to charge a battery plus charge the phone.

I don't really think this thing worth 24 buck....
this is almost exactly what i want just not so cheap looking
Hmmm...if I don't see or hear of anything better soon I'm getting that.
I hadn't seen anything that wasn't homemade although I cannot argue about the looks of it. But for an easy charging system it looks good and will charge another battery as well.
It looks pretty cool. I almost want one. But it does look a bit cheap. Good find though!

Recommended Armband (for Sports) For Galaxy i9000 ?

Anyone know any good sports armband to hold my galaxy while i'm jogging ?
I've looked at google/ebay and found only universal cheap stuff that doesn't look all that great.
I simply want something to hold the galaxy (which I play music from and use apps for sports), protect it from damage and sweat and allow me to use its functions.
IPhone ones will work

Really ?! Any iphone armband ? Headphone's hole in the same place for iphone 4 and Galaxy ?
In that case i'll go for pro armbands, marware and such i guess...
Will be glad to hear input from people who tried it.
Search for the existing thread on this topic in this forum, there are several good suggestions there (I posted one that is specifically made for the SGS and very good).

I've looked through the forums. If I remember right, you recommended the iGatdgitz one. I've been going through the net for hours looking for this and the Vangoddy one but found it nowhere in stock.
I am still wondering whether every iphone4 armband will fit. Usually quality companies create stuff for them and if that's true then it's probably the best solution.

Iphone4 armbands won't fit, the dimensions are slightly off. Iphone 3GS ones on the other hand will, I use a generic iphone 3GS armband and it works like a charm.
i ve got one for iphone. sgs is slightly longer, but in practice i am really satisfied...
google for "SportWrap Armband"

If the iPhone 3G armbands fit there are probably some very good ones out there as others have suggested, certainly would be worth looking into also.
I will order this one:

It's simple, and I think it will fits perfect!

Fits the phone like a glove but strap can be too short if you have big arms.
IF you get an iphone one, just make sure the material can stretch a bit. (They usually do)
Is the igadgitz too bulky, looks like I would get very sweaty in it?
I have looked everywhere for the miCoach one but that appears impossible to get in Australia without paying more then the armbands total value..

iArmbands

I didn't see a ton of good info about armbands for the Infuse but I ended up buying one from iArmbands. I thought a few of you might want to see what it looks like. It's not perfect, but in terms of it not flopping around while you run (or worse losing your phone) it's pretty good and cheap (think I paid around $12.00).

[Q] Can I recommend the "HTC One S" to my father?

Hi,
I´m searching for a new phone for my father. The price range is limited to 300€, so I´m looking for a "One S" or a "Nexus 4 (8GB)".
I´m a real fan of HTC-Sense, so I would prefer the One S.
Can you also recommend the One S? I read something about problems with the color finish and problems with a 900Mhz GSM-Interference and Home-Screen-flickering?
These problems have been fixed now?
Thx, Nem.
The problem with chipping MAO layer on the black one has been fixed, altho you should still not drop it on concrete. The grey one never had a problem.
As far as I know, the home button / helicoptering issue was never fixed. But most devices dont have it. Read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679649 I can't say anything about likelihood or severity.
As for recommending it.. The device is a year old now, but by no means outdated. It is still one of the most powerful - and, in my opinion, beautiful - devices out there today.
Take into consideration that this comes from a long time OneS user, and I haven't looked much into anything else lately, so probably biassed.. ..still hope it helps tho.

It's a solid phone with still ok specs for the price considering it's about a year old model.
I don't think you should be worried about either of these issues as long as you buy a new phone (and thus get a device from a recent patch where they're fixed).
Just be sure to get an S4 (1.5 GHz) and not an S3 (1.7 GHz). I suppose you're in western europe so this shouldn't be a problem.
Sent from my One S. Please hit thanks if I helped.
I think the software optimization is something far more useful than the spec chart. So even if nowadays there are more powerful phones around (so called octa-cores etc.), the One S is still preferable IMHO fot the Sense interface. The software environment is virtually bugless, everything works as expected (and that's by no means obvious). I'd say go for it! :good:
Even though it's a year old phone, it's still awesome. I have one and I love it. Not planning to replace it any soon. Sense is great and if you don't like it, there are lots of ROMs supporting 'ville' out there.
It's metallic. Be careful accidentally fell.....:crying:
If you drop the phone, be careful not to break the floor.
Get a good case...if you crack the screen (like I did) you will most likely have to replace the whole panel since it is amoled and very difficult to replace the glass only.
I love this phone overall though and wouldn't even think of replacing it for a very long time.

Thanks everyone!
I ordered the HTC One S (S4, 1,5 Ghz) today and I´m sure he will have a lot of fun with this device.:fingers-crossed:
Well, since you ordered it already, this post is meaningless. But, will comment anyway. It depends on your fathers usage. Since I am probably one of the older members here, it is important what is age is and what he will do mostly with the phone.
If he is not rooting etc, would ask if he values screen size and clarity. I think the Nexus 4 is better there. Least ways from my playing with it. That doesn't make it better/worse just more geared to him if eyes are aging like mine.
If he is still relatively young and screen is not an issue, the 4 may be larger than he wants for holding and making calls. S is perfect there imho.
I love my One S and bought it early on. But, I am moving toward a bigger screen soon, as even this one is hard to read web pages, for me at least.
Sorry for posting so much after the fact. But, maybe someone else can use my comments, if in similar situation.
Both are great phones--
