Hi folks, I am Nigerian and I use an LG G Pro (D838). Some days back i noticed that i had no network on my phone so I tried inserting another sim into the device and still got the same result but other devices around had network coverage. I changed the network mode to GSM only and got 2G but WCDMA only gives me nothing. I have tried other sims on GSM only mode and got 2G but when i change the mode to WCDMA only, i get nothing at all. Have also put it to GSM/WCDMA auto but keeps giving me just 2G network only. I have even had to downgrade the OS from android 5.0.1 to 4.4.2 as suggested by a friend and still got the same issue. Please, what should i do??????
Still having the same problem with my lg g pro f240s...When i choose wcdma preferred is not working and i loss signal but when i choose gsm i get signal.I travelled to different locations but still getting the same problem.
I also tried to flash a new modem but locked my network but thanks to a Nandroid backup i did i restored it.And my phone was back to it state again.
Any solution thanks Thanks?

i bought a 2nd hand original t-mobile N900T, everything is fine but network, 2g/GSM isworking fine but when i try to switch it to WCDMA ONLY it won't register on the network, i resetted the device but no result, here in afghanistan gsm network is annoying, i have activated 3g data package, it never turns to H or H+ , its olways E,
please help me guys, what should i do, should change the network hardware or what?

i have problem with my data connection. when i set the preferred network to WCDMA only and LTE only. my phone has no signal at all. i have a strong 3G connection on my other phones.
is it a baseband problem?
if it is. how to flash the correct baseband for my F350L?
or this maybe a hardware problem?

I see that you are from Manila and using a F350L please check supported bands by your network and the supported bands of F350L if they are compatible.
i did check it and it is same bands use here. there are f350L users here with no problems using their 3G connection.
My F350L is LTE-8 other F350L are LTE-A. I suspect that this two have different band
I am having the same Problem up here in Ohio
No matter what I try I can not seem to get this phone to do anything besides just G I am running the F350S on AT&T
Please look in Dialer with 5457#*350# and activate your Bands

I put the Checkmarks on the bands that AT&T Supports. But I am still only getting G

Same problem overhere Lg g pro 2 though F350k
I have the same problem in Holland. I have the F350k variant) 3G is in Holland 900/2100. The phone has despite of the advertisement text !!! by selling (900/2100) 850/1900/2100. The 2100 band is the same so should work.
Tried a lot. By the way last software and Androi 5.0.1.
The Sim is not the problem, the APN setting not, ........
any suggestions?

The imie is for d838 already...how aure are you dat after chaging the imie, it will work? And how do i go about changing the imie? Thanks

Hello, I am from Nigeria.
I bought my LG D838 on eBay in May 2015 and was quite impressed with the performance but my pride and happiness was short lived. I woke up one morning in December 2015, and noticed I didn't have any cell reception. I checked with my siblings and I seemed to be the only one who had no cell reception on the same network as theirs.
I swapped SIMS of other networks into my phone but still to no avail but funny thing was that whenever I change network mode to 2G only, I get reception but switching back to 3G only mode gave me nothing at all...this happened a few days after I updated the OS with a 50MB patch file using OTA as prompted. I have been writing to LG since then but no reply and it has frustrated me so much as I bought this phone for about USD 398 and didn't even get to use it up to a year. I managed it on 2G while trying to contact LG about it until the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stopped responding also. I need the NV and QCN backup file for this phone in order to get it running again…I would really love to see this beauty run again. Please help me out.

My oneplus one has a issue for a long time. I live in Turkey and using a network provider named "Avea". With di.3.0 alpha baseband I get no reception no matter what I do, however its like a bug. my sim service trying to reconnect every 5 seconds like in loop.
The issue is: In my country we still have 3G not LTE. and still in many areas beacuse of our networks are so not strong our phones got Edge signal. The problem on my opo is I only have 3G, my 2G band is lost. My GSM band is lost too. If choose another prefered network type instead of 3G my network is lost.
I guess this loss of bands on my phone, DI3.0 baseband modem is not working too. How can I bring back my 2G and GSM bands ?

So, for some reason, only 2G (EDGE) works, even with auto 2G/3G/4G activated. I've already tried changing APNs, factory resetting, calling my provider, and nothing. Only 2G. Also, for some reason, everytime I restart the phone the mobile data resets and goes to 2G only. There's also always a 2G symbol over my signal indicator, never changing to anything or even disappearing, on wlan or when with no connection.
It is updated to EMUI 3.0.
Is there something about 3G or 4G lock about this phone?

In which country are you trying to use it? If you are in europe you should have buy the wcdma versions which are h60-l02 and h60-l12.

I have the same isue with honor 6 h60-l01 . The phone specification say LTE band 38(2600), 39(1900), 40(2300) - H60-L01 which is the band from rcs-rds Romania. What is the problem.

I used my M808 2 years. In 2 days i can't call and sms and don't have internet when i have 3G or 4G. When i force 2G i can call and sms. In 3G i can see range but i cant call to anybody.
Do you have idea how i can fix it?

This could be caused by a few things.
1. Hardware fault.
2. Your carrier (SIM Provider) switched to a none supported band or bands. The M808 does not support LTE band 20 (800mhz) which is common in Europe
Supported Network Bands:
(2G) GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz
(3G) WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100MHz
(4G) FDD-LTE B1/B3/B7/B8/B28
3. APN settings although this would not affect voice calls
4. Your carrier Decided to block your phone by IMEI from using anything other than 2G and yes they do sometimes do this O2 did it to me some years ago now with absolutely no warning or reason given so I will never ever use them again the arrogant s****
5. Duplicate IMEI someone is using a phone with the same IMEI as yours on the same network. This can cause all kinds of strange stuff to happen. Again happened to me when I restored the incorrect backup. Both mine and my sons phone ended up with the same IMEI . It took ages to work out what was going on with that one
I would suggest you first try another sim card from another provider that use's the supported bands for 4G (3UK) if in the UK it used to work fine on my Old M808.
I done some tests.
I put my sim card to other phone - everything is ok.
I put other provider sim card to my phone - only 2G is working properly.
I done flashing - no improvement.
Im afraid hardware fault.
Any more sugestions?

Full Firmware Upgrade using SPFlashTool If that dont fix it then it's time for a new Phone see the original Infocus V5 M808 Thread for ROM s and tools.
