I 've successfully rooted my SAMSUNG GALAXY GT S-7582 (S duos 2) following your guide.
Now I want to know whether I can use STICKMOUNT to connect usb drive via otg cable in my rooted S 7582 device or not.

I am using Ressurection Remix v3.8 Jellybean rOM in my Samsung Galaxy S2.
When I try to connect my new OTG cblew with my 1 gb pen drive, I do not get the USB drive in ES explorer.
Can anyone give me the steps to use my pendrive with my mobile wuing OTG?

I'm new in the world of android rom and root!
I have a Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 (S6500XXLK2) and I want to root it to try to install a kitkat rom.
I followed many different methods to root it but none with success.
I'm starting to think that there is an hardware problem becuase I'm not able to connect the device to kies, neither to odin. If I use Kingo root it doesn't recognize it.
The strange thing is that if I connet it to my linux pc I can connect via usb and I am able to access the device as a memory storage.
Any ideas?

Regarding a kitkat ROM I would have a look here: Omnirom / CM / AOKP 4.4.4 on Mini2 [FINAL // who takes over?]

Hay please help me m using galaxy s2 i9100g (rooted) os installed cwm with slimkat kitkat rom , my problem is whenever m trying to connect phone kies with laptop it is not detecting, my main problem is m not able to access usb through otg cable , whenever i connect my phone with otg cale it shows a icon of car stairing on top and goes in driving mode ........ So plzzz help me asap .

Are you connecting through otg?
