703L, random reboot, Google service disappeared after rooted - Huawei MediaPad X2

Hi,
My 703L worked really well in the past, no problem so far, not until I decided to unlock bootloader and root
Now my phone is randomly reboot without any notice, and Google service disappeared after 2-3 days using (lost all contact, google account, play store crashed....)
This is all I did:
-unlock bootloader
-flash TWRP
-flash kangvip boot
-back up system
-flash Kangvip ultra slim to test if it fix some issues of mediapad x2 compatible with my gear s2 (but it was not)
-restore system
-flash chainfire root
-change dpi to 380

Constant softbrick while trying to root stock

Hi
I have flashed stock and no problem but I can't root it. I have flashed the latest SuperSU and many others zips and wiped cache and dalvik cache, but when I reboot it stucks in bootlogo. I have the latest TWRP recovery and I use stock MM 6.0.1 ROM.
What can I do?
Thanks

Read some posts on rooting... You can't root a Marshmallow device like you used too, systemless root is required...
Open TWRP, go to Advanced - Terminal and enter:
echo SYSTEMLESS=true>>/data/.supersu
And flash SuperSU again, you should see a message about systemless install, then clear caches (takes forever) and rebooted and give it a while.

Flash supersu zip v2.62.3 ( http://download.chainfire.eu/751/SuperSU/BETA-SuperSU-v2.62-3-20151211162651.zip )
If you flash other version you will get bootloop.

Not true... You can flash this beta version without doing anything special, but any SuperSU v2.63 or above, including the current version, works perfectly if you create the /data/.supersu file containing "SYSTEMLESS=true" flag as noted in my previous post. It is not difficult and any newer version cleans up a "bad" regular system flash as well.

A SuperSU v2.62.3 installation will be updated to 2.76 via playstore.

Registered for this forum specifically to thank you for this.
Lots of instructions found when googling for rooting the Moto G 3rd gen, some good, some not so good. Every one of them resulted in getting stuck at the Motorola bootloader unlocked warning page. Re-flashed back to stock firmware and had almost given up until I saw this post. Solved the problem.
Thanks!

SuperSu & Stock Kernel With Forced Encryption Removed MM 6.0.1

Well after a few weeks of playing around with our MZP, I have managed to extract the SuperSu zip from the Chinese TWRP.
This can be flashed through any TWRP Recovery you choice to use, we no longer have to use the suspicious Chinese version of TWRP.
Flash at your own risk(as usual)
I have tested this with the Oct security update, I don't know if will work on any other update past October's
Link https://mega.nz/#!KN8xiI5L!zxjTMMSvtiYg7deturcH_aP_m__PN-KO8l2sxcTj9wo
Stock With Forced Encryption Removed also dm-verify is removed ( October Update)
Flash with fastboot:https://mega.nz/#!TA8iEJhR!vr5bY8gYZQ5XQq41WC_d6P0eko8RwZVCzGR5r2yn5Qk
Code:fastboot flash boot boot.img or use flashify from the Play Store
You will of course need to format your data or after flashing the boot.img through fastboot just type in fastboot erase userdata.
This will wipe everything from your internal sdcard, so be prepared
Hello, you can put the steps that you have given I have not touched anything of boot.img
Thank you

In my long drawn out attempts to get a flashable stock rom working ( not successfully to this point) . I unpacked the boot.img and removed both forced encrytption as well as dm-verify disabled and repacked the boot.img.
As I have flashed the stock firmware about 40 times to date(sparsechunks, oem & boot.img only) I finally decided that I also wanted encryption removed, so I took my ultered boot.img and flashed it and went through the flashing of the sparsechunk and finally erased userdata.
I'm not encrypted any more

Hi there !
I can't manage to install SuperSU on my Honor 6X, here is what I did :
- install of twrp-3.1.0-2 with fastboot
- then booted to TWRP using the Huawei tool provided in the main root post (btw click on the recovery on the second tab, the first one didn't worked for me),
- then i installed the SuperSU file provided in the same post (with no error message)
- wipe cache/dalvik
- reboot
--> No SuperSU app on my phone
Can someone tell me what I did wrong ?
Thanks a lot !

Are you on EMUI 4 or 5? if on EMUI 5/Nougat then you must try with TWRP 3.1.1.0.img and can follow this guide-

I think you shouldn't format the devlock cache after flashing twrp. Just flash TWRP and reboot to recovery again and reboot to normal and see what happens.

Problem solved. I don't need to install super SU anymore since I managed to get root with Magisk.
It appears also that installing managing allowed me to access recovery normally (using volume up + power) which I couldn't do before for some reason.
Hardest phone to root I nerver had, Huawei sucks

You've made a better choice, don't worry! Magisk is definitely superior to SuperSU, it's full of potentialities. Anyway yes, i agree with your last sentence: It's harder than other phones where a simple autoroot package does everything, but i wasn't sad because for as i see it, in this way i made experience on rooting a device that requires an harder work

It supports add-on systemless modules that enhance other apps, or add functionalities like HD audio tweaks, ART optimization for example. It can be updated via Magisk Manager app or removed easily. It contains a function to hide root in a toggle and select which apps will see root access or not. It's great!

XT1254 Won't boot to system after factory reset

Hi,
I have a VZW Quark that's been unlocked with Sunshine and rooted and running fine on custom ROM's for a year. Today I did a factory reset and complete wipe and reinstalled RR Rom and GApps etc. However, on reboot, it only goes back to recovery (TWRP 3.1.1-0). I faced this the last time as well and managed to find the fix by googling it but can't seem to get to it now. It was a quick fix and then it booted to system fine and I cannot remember it. Can anyone help! Thanks.

Someone else had this issue and they solved it by flashing the latest @bhb27 modded TWRP. You say you have TWRP 3.1.1, but is it from the TWRP website or from @bhb27? Flash this one below to make sure.
twrp-3.1.1-mod_2-quark.img
https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=39562
Once they flashed it, they were able to boot to system, then they booted back to TWRP (on purpose) -- and then upon subsequent reboots everything was fine.
See here:

Awesome job
Nice work bro ????
Keep it up !
perfect thanks?
Just flashed on my P8 Lite 2017, super smooth, great job with the ROM. :good:
I've spotted just three points of concern:
SuperSU being preinstalled means the device doesn't pass SafetyNet and therefore cannot use Google Pay. It also says 'uninstallation failed' if you try to uninstall it.
When changing the height of the navbar, the recent app button and back button both scale up to the size of the navbar, but the home button doesn't, so the home button looks smaller than the other two buttons.
Google Play Services comes pre-installed, but the Google Play Store doesn't.
Great ROM otherwise.

Now can't you go to fastboot???
