How to remove "no sim card" on samsung galaxy s4 - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I got a Samsung Galaxy S4 for Christmas and I am using this as a WiFi phone. What I wondering is if there is a way to get rid of the No sim card warning without buying a Sim card. Is there?

[Completed] Verizon LG G Vista; does it already have an unlocked SIM slot?

My friend recently got this phone but had never used it. I have an account with Ting and the imei checked out just fine, they said with one of their SIM cards it would work on their network no problem. I have 2 questions;
1.since no SIM has been activated on this phone with any carrier dies that have any bearing in it being kicked out not?
2. A brand new sim card came in the phone, again never activated. Is there a reason why that SIM card I'd number count just be attached to my thing account? I thought that they just tore that number in and connect it to the appropriate account n I'm confused in why what logo is on it matters.
Thank you in advance for any help or insight that gets sent my way and I appreciate everyone's patience if my questions seem silly or dumb. I am legit confuse though,

Unfortunately there is not much about your exact device on xda.
I found this thread: [Q] LG G Vista - Root Request by ClassickWORLD.
If you register on xda, you can post in this thread or in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Hopefully you will get better help there :fingers-crossed:

How soon will S6 be rooted and Sim unlocked?

I have a S4 that is still in original 4.2.2 firmware, rooted and able to tap into AT&T free Wi-Fi tether. Unfortunately I never Sim unlocked it. But ability to do all these things are very important to me. How soon do you guys reckon S6 will get these options? Will the Sim card be the same size as my s4? I may get it but still use my S4 for the Wi-Fi tethering.
1. Expect a mod to come by and get rid of this thread because this sort of thing doesn't belong here.
2. Ask AT&T about that sim unlock thing.
3. Some variants of the S6 are already rooted. You can find threads referencing this by searching XDA or Google.

[Completed] [Q] Cyanogen and Verizon

Hello, my contract is about to renew and unfortunately where I live Verizon is pretty much the only provider that I can use where I have service at home and at work. So I have a Galaxy S4 (SCH-I545) with the FNK1 firmware so I'm pretty locked out of doing anything fun with it. What I want is a modern phone with Cyanogen, or at least an unlocked bootloader. I was going to go with the M9 since the S6 got rid of the SD card and paying $100 for 16GB of space is stupid. I just saw the other day that verizon locked the phones from using the HTC Dev method... so what are my options? Am I pretty much screwed if I want to stay with verizon? Or is there some perfect option that I don't know about.
Thanks I will look into it! Are there any other options? I will go check it out but I'm afraid it will be too big for my hands, haha. Also the lack of a sd card slot and swappable battery makes me sad.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Check your this thread,http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846277. There are a lot of options out there this is a good place to get some help.

You did not mention about the exact device model.
However there is a general forum for android here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help where you can get better help and support if you try to ask over there.
Good luck.

Hi and thank you for using XDA Assist
Unfortunally no, you can't do this thing with an app or in any other way.
But if your phone was without a SIM card then it should be a carrier bought one, so if you broke your phone and you bought it from a carrier shop like for example T-Mobile AT&T etc... You can ask to transfer your phone number and use it on a new SIM card. This thing can be done in my country so i don't know how the things work in yours, but you can always try to see how it goes.
Good luck!
