Hi,
I just got new Teclast air III 3G x98 64GB (C5J6, v2.00.20150720) and can't install Mirek v6 rom. If I try FLASH_tool_Teclast_x98_air3g_and_air_2-(v2.5).bat it wont connect the device, although my PC's Windows 8 recognizes Teclast when connected to USB. I also installed ADB drivers and Intel ADB drivers.
Then I tried using Manufacturing Flash Tool with instructions from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62823546&postcount=6 but no luck either. MFT gives error shown image below

What I am doing wrong? I have flashed multiple other Android devices earlier but this seems to be tough one :crying:
Got this sorted out.
Solution was to use Flash_tool...bat included in Mirek's ROM with next steps:
1. Select 1. Install Android - Clean install
2. Connect Tablet to your PC with USB and Tablet NOT in debug mode
3. Select 1. Install from Android
4. When red screen opens, switch tablet to debug mode -> after that follow instructions

5). Run command or sh script directly via pc
6). Sign apk and zip
And much more.... detail features can be found on -> official web site

I am currently experiencing issues while installing the ADB drivers for my Shield Tab.
I have downloaded the latest drivers directly from Nvidia's website:
Code:
http://click.xda-developers.com/api/click?format=go&jsonp=vglnk_141966869228312&key=f0a7f91912ae2b52e0700f73990eb321&libId=9f2de995-db4e-47ff-ac55-0e784e93f067&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.xda-developers.com%2Fshield-tablet%2Fdevelopment%2Froot-root-nvidia-shiel
Yet, every time I attempt to install the drivers, I get this message:

I know FOR SURE that my PC is a x64-Based system. USB Debugging is enabled, My PC reads the Tablet & I can use MTP.
I have tried completely uninstalling/re-installing all drivers, I have tried multiple USB cords, I've tried Universal ADB Drivers, and NOTHING seems to work.
Any Advice on how to solve this issue?
I dont know if this is relevant, but prior to updating to Lollipop, My device had been rooted via TowelRoot (I had to unroot in order to avoid bricking from the OTA updates)
This is the Guide I plan on following in order to root my device:
Code:
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/how-root-nvidia-shield-tablet-android-5-0-lollipop-install-cwm-recovery-1481041
Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated.[/FONT]
My only advice would be to find the rooting thread in the general section of this forum and try the guide there.
Try this guide: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/Tablets/NVIDIA/NVIDIA-SHIELD-Tablet-ADB-USB-Driver-1.shtml
I don't see which version of Windows you are using. If Windows 8/8.1 be aware that you may need to take special steps to install an unsigned driver. See http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2303046 for instructions.
I recently upgraded both of my computers to Windows 10 and have been moving some files over to my TF700 via USB. Yesterday my computer just stopped recognizing it as a USB device.

I uninstalled the driver and tried going back in and installing it manually by selecting 'Asus Android Device' and this list popped up:
I've tried several of them and it still doesn't show up as a USB device. Any ideas? I'm confused because it was showing up fine one day and then I plugged it in the next and it won't show up.
Did you try to reboot both devices?
Try different USB ports

Yeah I've tried both of those. No clue what could have changed overnight.
Me neither. But I recently read about a guy who had to uninstall another device's sync utility to get adb/fastboot back. Maybe something along those lines?
In a pinch you can use a live Linux CD like this one: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...t/46090-guide-adb-fastboot-linux-live-cd.html

So My Questions are:
1. How i know which image can i use?
2. Why comes "Installation aborted"?
And Maybe will be helpful if any can write a short tutorial or post a Good video tutorial.
The device is AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGH-I727).
I've access to Windows 11 and Linux (Lubuntu).
So the current state is:
Screen and touch are both not working.
Screen is not turning on or blinking.
I can access download mode.
The device is detected with name: MSM8x60

Odin also detects the phone.
I can access recovery mode.
The device is detected with name: SAMSUNG-SGH-I727
I can find it in `adb device` and I can start a shell. But I can't find anything in data, sdcard, nor sdcard1..
USB Debugging is off.
Kies and Smart Watch can't connect to the phone in any boot mode (download, recovery, or regular boot).
When I turn the mobile on as a regular boot, it gets detected as 'Android'.
What are the options here? I only need to extract the data, I don't really care about the phone.. Please help.
Can you boot normally?
What kind of lockscreen do you have?
Is the problem software or hardware?
You need to have something that can mount data and decrypt it, recovery is usually not that.
Can you screen mirror over USB connector to HDMI/DP?
