I recently upgraded both of my computers to Windows 10 and have been moving some files over to my TF700 via USB. Yesterday my computer just stopped recognizing it as a USB device.

I uninstalled the driver and tried going back in and installing it manually by selecting 'Asus Android Device' and this list popped up:
I've tried several of them and it still doesn't show up as a USB device. Any ideas? I'm confused because it was showing up fine one day and then I plugged it in the next and it won't show up.
Did you try to reboot both devices?
Try different USB ports

Yeah I've tried both of those. No clue what could have changed overnight.
Me neither. But I recently read about a guy who had to uninstall another device's sync utility to get adb/fastboot back. Maybe something along those lines?
In a pinch you can use a live Linux CD like this one: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...t/46090-guide-adb-fastboot-linux-live-cd.html

I recently got my new samsung i760 from a friend (he didn't like it).
Anyways, he didn't bother to include any kind of instalation CD or usb cable so I ordered the USB cable. It came in the mail today, and when I tried to connect it to my PC it did that "add new hardware" thing and failed. So I searched on Samsung's website and downloaded Samsung PC Studio 3. When I installed it, I saw a message saying "please don't hook your phone up to the PC until after the instalation" or something like that so I took out the cable. It installed and I put the cable back in and it still gave me the "add new hardware thing and at the bottom of PC Studio it said "not connected" even when I turned on ActiveSync.

I restarted the phone and my computer and still no luck. And during the installation I had some errors about stuff being different in driver.cab but I clicked ignore, could this be the problem?
Does anyone know a place to download the necessary software to make it be able to connect?
what computer are you using. for vista, you need windows mobile device center and for xp, you need activesync. both are available at microsoft.
Hi,
I'm new to the forums, would like to say that this site's an awesome resource... I'm pleased to have stumbled on it...
Have just got hold of an XDA Zest and having trouble getting Windows Mobile Device Centre to recognise it as a device.
I've downloaded and installed the 64 bit driver (as per FIG 001). I've restarted several times since install, I've re-installed a few times already..

Just can't get it to play ball... It's not recgonised as a mobile device in device manager, however I can confirm that I can browse the phone's storage card as a regular device.
Any suggestions?
I've already had a good old poke around the forums, see numerous threads about connectivity issues and 64bit vista but none that relate directly to my problem...
Thanks, in anticipation...
Ok - found the problem, was me being a b*llend. Issue was that my USB settings on my h/s had been set to memory card ony *blushes*
Hi all,
Is anyone out there running Vista able to use NBHUtil.exe successfully?
When I run it from my home computers it says it finishes, but there is no output file.
I've got no antivirus, and UAC is disabled. I run it as Administrator and have even tested it physically logged in as Administrator.
I'm trying to make my own boot splash screens - which I can do on an XP machine, but I can't do on any of my Vista machines.
I'd like to be able to make some splash screens at home w/o having to take them into work where I use XP.
PS - I also can't get an output file using Windows Server 2008.

Same issue here, any fix?
I haven't found a solution. After hours of searching and testing, I gave up and just reverted back to XP on a spare comp. I think that kitchens can handle the conversions, but without a manual, I'm not interested enough to tinker for yet more hours to figure it out myself.
Until someone actually posts that NBHUtil.exe works for them on Vista, I'll assume it doesn't.
Same exact issue here. I noticed I wasn't getting an output on Windows 7. I tried elevated permissions, admin rights, and compatibility mode. No dice.
Hi all, I have one problem, my TF101 doesn't boot anymore, only to APX mode, and when i use Wheelie, it does all perfectly until it reaches the it just stucks at:
Code:
[+] Sending bootloader...
Sending file: 100%
It always happens, in Ubuntu, Wheelie, EasyFlasher... I don't know what to do I always select the SBK2 option (my TF101 is B80). My PC detects APX mode, and has the drivers. Any ideas why this is happening?

No answers, I assume there's no solution, anyways, thanks to all who at least read to try to help.
the same problems, no hints?
Hardware failure?
The usual... uninstall and delete the drivers, reinstall the recommended one (the universal naked drivers), and try again. Do this even if everything appears ok, there still may be corruption of some sort, like chkdsk messing up a driver file or moving it, etc.
After new installation, the same problem. 100% and after nothing.
I sale the tablet, because i'm not the specalist.
Thanks for you hint.
Hello all there. Was wondering if anyone could help solve problem. Currently running Cyanogenmod 10.2 Stable Release and noticed the USB Mass Storage isn't an option under the notification settings while connected to a computer. After lots of reading (including some forums on here), I went into the About Phone option in the setting and tapped on the build number numerous times to bring up the Developer Options once in there I enabled USB Debugging which should have solved my problem right there, but no luck. After some further reading I went ahead and installed some USB mode switcher apps in which Windows was able to recognize my phone as two separate drives but for some reason kept telling me to insert the drives every time I tried to open one of them. The drives are also being displayed as shaded and not full colored as they should be. I've attached a picture to help describe what I'm talking about.
