Anyone else have problems when exiting Ultra Stamina Mode with the main screen continuing to show the Ultra Stamina Mode home screen, only after restarting it a few times do I get the normal home screen back but then the app icons don't show up within the menu & any widgets in use on main screen have been removed.
Also keep getting the error message "Google Play Services has stopped working".
When I go into Settings>Apps>Downloaded all my apps are showing up.

Hi all,
I recently tried changing the wallpaper on my phone from a live background to regular image. The background went black and the phone froze.
I removed the battery and restarted the phone but it now often freezes on the LG logo. When it does occasionally start up the touch screen will not respond so I cannot get past my lock pattern. If I press the stand by button at the top of the phone, the screen goes off and cannot be turned on again, but the phone is still running - as I can tell this when connected to the computer.
I don't have my phone rooted and do not know much about that. I was hoping there was a way to fix this without having to lose all of my data or root/mod my phone. Otherwise I would be happy just to have my phone working.
Can anyone please help with this problem or tell me why the touch screen will not respond the times it does start up?
Cheers
UPDATE - I started the phone holding the volume button down and went into the recovery mode. I'm not sure exactly which option I then selected, as I hit the home key a couple of times, but I think it was "Clear cache and recovery" or something similar.
The phone managed to start back up with all my apps and photos, etc. Although I had to go through the startup wizard again and sign into the Market, LG World, etc.
Now I have a problem with quite a few of my apps. Whenever I click on them, they start very briefly and then I get the message "The application had stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and have to force close. This happens with apps such as Adobe Reader, GTA 3 and Viber, so it's not a specific type of app.
I also noticed with the few apps that work, data is missing from some and not others. For example, I still have high scores in one game, but not in another.
Does anyone know what the problem is here or why this recovery is maybe causing this?
Thanks very much
Still haven't fixed this problem if anyone could please help. Most of the apps before the recovery still force close upon starting.
Some of these can be fixed temporarily by moving to phone/SD depending on location, but this only lasts for so long, before I have to move again. Others will open up each time as though it's the first opening of the app, e.g. Do you accept....
Apps downloaded after the recovery seem to work fine.
Any suggestions people?
As stated above I have the 64gb AT&T S6 and so far I found bugs
1st Home button when in the APP draw only goes back to the APP Draw after closing a APP
2nd Media Vol is always off even after I check all my apps to make sure I didn't mute something
3rd listen to Bluetooth volume is up and when the phone screen goes black the volume shut down to Zero when working out .
I have to manually turn it up with the screen off. but if I get a text message that wakes my screen it goes back to zero
4th cant access camera menu open up than closes
5th cant access Samsung gear app pass the main screen they also close after I try to open it
6th finger scanner is set to screen off and even when not in a trusted location it wont lock. just swipe and open phone
7th camera way to much on double press from the off position
going to do a factory reset and see but sux because I have to log in and DL my apps
anyone having these problem and is there a fix before I wipe and reload
Not sure about fixes but I have an att model and none of these issues.
As for the camera settings from what I've seen you'll need to factory reset. As for the lock screen not locking, is it connected to a Bluetooth device, it treats that as as trusted place and won't engage the finger print lock, this can be disabled in settings I believe.
The rest of it I'm not sure as like I said, I don't have these issues on my end.

Hey guys-
Was on a long international flight yesterday and decided to put my (unrooted) Galaxy S6 into "ultra power saving" mode for the first time. It was a horrible mistake and I'm not sure how to undo it!
The first issue it had was that it said Ultra Power Saving mode doesn't support the use of themes, so it was reverting to the default theme (I use Material Black).
After a long time of saying it was reverting to the default theme, I'm not sure if it worked - it ended up in the state that it is currently in: if I turn the phone on, the screen is just black - it has the status bar at the top of the screen, but just a blank black screen below it. It does not look like images I've seen on other websites for what Ultra Power Saving mode is supposed to look like (no icons on the screen, no "More" at the top right). If I go to settings by dragging from the top of the screen and hitting the settings button, I get a very limited set of settings: WiFi, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, Mobile Networks, Location, Sound, and Brightness - nothing that enables me to turn off Ultra Power Saving mode.
I am afraid to reboot the device, because when I did that yesterday, I had major issues. My device is encrypted, and I think this mode doesn't play nicely with encryption; when I rebooted the device, I was asked to sign in to unlock the encryption (as normal), but then the encryption booting screen (an unlock symbol with a circle around it) just idled indefinitely - for an hour or two. I couldn't do anything to get the phone to actually boot. Eventually, many hours later, rebooting the phone and logging in allowed it to boot to the state I described above; I don't know what went differently that time.
I tried various key combinations on restart, one of which seemed to result in the device trying to boot to Safe Mode (it said safe mode in the bottom left corner when asking me to sign in to device encryption), but ended up leaving me in the exact same place - the extremely limited Ultra Power Saving mode black screen I described above.
Anyway - is there anything I can try to get my phone out of Ultra Power Saving mode and back to normal? It is unusable right now and I can't figure out how to get it back. Would like to avoid a factory reset if possible (because I'm overseas with ****ty internet, and don't have access to my office to get it re-set up with enterprise mail etc.).
If I have to factory reset the device - I'm not even sure how to do it from this current UPSM state, so any tips there would be helpful too.
Thanks a ton in advance for the help guys
Go to download mode, reflash original rom with odin. You need your rom file from sammobile or samsung-updates or xda and odin 3.
Sorry, I am no power user although I am not totally tech incompetent. Can you tell me in a little more detail what your instructions mean? It sounds like it is basically a total reset of the OS; is that right? Any implications for my warranty? Any alternatives?
If you had package disabler and disabled any of the packages required to run ultra power saving mode, you get symptoms like this.
com.sec.android.emergencylauncher is one package amongst many.
I have honestly only heard of factory resetting working.

So my phone randomly restarted and after that my home button doesn't work, the button left to it, notification bar and few more things.
I tried to google the solution, and it seems that it has to do something with developer mode. It says: "developer options are not available for this user " , while they were before restart.
Solutions were to install nova launcher, but i can't do that since when i press install, it just hangs there forever.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I have May update.
Hi guys,
this morning i have a strange issue on my oneplus 7. The screen turned off, then it won't turn on again, the only thing on the screen was a little "pixel" flashing at the top center of the screen. I keept the power button pressed to turn off the phone, and after a bunch of seconds the screen turned back on (the phone was still on).
After that, i frequently see a flashing window that looks like a crash notification for some app, but it is so fast that i can not read what is related on... This window keeps popping out every few minutes (or seconds) but the phone seems working as alwatys. I've tried rebooting with no luck. There's no way to see some kind of log to check what app is crashing? The phone is consuming a lot of battery now (30% in the last 2h) and looks like Google Play Services has used almost 25% of battery.
