Baseband unknown but I have IMEI, Mobile DATA, WiFi, etc. - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Flashed from CM 12.1 to 13 last night on my wife's OPO via lastest TWRP.
Baseband says "Unknown" but I have IMEI, and phone functions normally.
Any way to fix the baseband?
TIA

[Q] LG C800 [CM9] "Baseband unknown" Stock baseband won`t flash.

I`ve got an LG MyTouch Q (C800) which was network locked to T-Mobile, i`ve flashed the latest nightly CM9 (doing everything by the instructions), and now the phone can`t connect to any mobile networks. Looking for a solution i`ve found that you can flash a stock baseband to solve this, but everytime i flash this stock baseband image through CWM recovery nothing changes - no network connections and baseband still shows "unknown". IMEI is the same as on stock ROM.
Removing the sim card doesn`t bring "emergency call" option and there is no "no sim card" sign in the tray, and the phone acts like it has a sim card in it when trying to connect to a mobile network it says that "Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later".
Flashing back to stock ROM solves the problem - i have a baseband number and emergency call works but the biggest problem still exists - it`s network locked.
So the question is:
Am I flashing correctly this stock baseband through CWM recovery or I am doing everything wrong?
P.S.
I can`t post in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1752704 and instructions on stock baseband flashing were sketchy at best.
No one knows? Please guys\gals help, it`s driving me nuts that I can`t figure it out how to flash this baseband.

(RESOLVED) Stuck in Roaming after CM 10.1 (Flashing)

basically my problem was, I flashed 10.1 a few days ago...lost all services of any kind except data. I got a new sim...no luck..odin'd back to stock...then dialed a *# number and was able to get roaming data and voice even though my IMEI was showing as zero. Repair the imei via a tool here however i've been stuck roaming since. I'm back on CM 10.1 and have selected those options you selected.
PRL version 15233
MEID (all zeroes)
ERI not displayed in this version, however it is showing as none in stock
IMEI repaired...not sharing this info

Baseband and IMEI not showing up and no mobile service

I have decided to try a rom cause being on stock was getting boring and I couldn't even use Samsung pay so I installed Twrp and then proceeded to restore one of my backups, that's where it stopped working. I had G920TUVU3DOI1 on my phone and I can't manage finding the files to flash. Whenever I try to flash a firmware (5.1.1. It fails, can anyone provide me a link to that version as that is my problem. Currently the phone is working but the IMEI and Baseband numbers are unknown.

SIM not recognised after reboot

Hi All,
My Oneplus is currently on CM13.0 (6.0.1). Whenever I restart my phone it does not recognise the SIM. The only way for the SIM to be recognised again is to restart the phone around 6-10 times. This happened back when I was on CM12 so I flashed CM13 hoping that would resolve the issue. It did not.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
EDIT: TWRP version is 2.8.0.1
EDIT2: The issue was the SIM card. Replaced it and it's working fine now.

Try to check if your baseband is still showing something, instead of unknown, and check for IMEI too.
If baseband is unknown and IMIE is showing nothing, you have to flash Oxygen OS to get back your modem.
I had exactly the same problem.

The latest, I have 2 bacons, the China version seems to fine, but the US version had missing baseband(sim card cant be detected) and IMEI after clean flashed to Cyanogen OS 13.1.
I'm not sure if mine is same as your case, i basically factory reset COS13 via latest twrp, side loaded the Oxygen OS and the baseband was back.
Or may be you should try to check or clean your sim card?:good:
Brother are you trying with jio sim in india? If yes then forget about it and if no then do a fresh installation of cm 11 and then upgrade to next cm updates by OTA. If that doesnt helps then it might be problem with the network receptor. Cant help you with that.
Sim issue was common in OPO when it was launced so u can find some solution video on yoitube as well
