[MOD] 3Minit Battery for Stock rooted Nexus 5X - Nexus 5X Themes and Apps

This is for those of you that are interested in having the 3Minit mod on your Nexus. You must install the enclosed 3Minitbatteryresource.apk first or your systemui will fc. Make a backup first though there should be a revert file made under a folder called ozop. You might need to go into your SystemUI folder and delete your SystemUI.odex file after flashing this. It is in the system/priv-app/SystemUI/oat/arm64 folder. After you flash the mod and you want something different than the stock 3minit battery you will need to go to the play store and get the 3Minit battery app.
Flash at your own risk.

The app located on here is just to get the 3minit mod working. Without installing it first you systemui would crash. It does give you a blue-green battery icon with the battery percentage in the middle. You will need the paid app if you want access to lots more.

I had some crashes happening as I was playing around. Not blaming this mod as there where a lot of mods I was running at the same time.
Should this work on Chroma latest @Tulsadiver ?

This is for stock rooted only. Roms with layers are a different creature. You can try this zip. It wasn't made from mmb29k but might work. If not, you can send me the systemui and framework-res and I'll give it a try.
Reinstall the 3minit app first.

Sorry for late reply. Been trying other Roms.
6p got a mmb29k Chroma version. Would that be a better fit then the file you shared? Saw it had been downloaded 4 times. Any feedback?
I attached the latest Chroma SystemUI and Framework. I split the framework in two rar files as the limit for upload is only 8MB.
Love to take those for a spin.
Thank you @Tulsadiver :highfive::good:

No feedback on the chroma zip. Try it. It will make a restore file under a folder called ozop. Couldn't get the framework installed. You should be able to upload 20 mb of apk at a time. Try uploading them without putting them in a .rar file.

Here you go buddy! One with a center clock ampm, one with stock right clock. Both have an invisible power button in the far upper right corner of the status bar. Long press brings up power button menu, short tap locks screen.
You know the drill, install 3minitresources.apk first.

[MOD][i9505] Kitkat Icons for Status bar / GPE Dialer - fixed FC on rejected call

Hi fellow xda,
If you like Samsung Rom, but do not like parts of its apps/UI as I do. Here're something we can do; kitkat-like status bar and GPE dialer.
Kitkat white battery, wifi, and other status icons. Integrated Data/Wifi with Service icon:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
GPE dialer from 4.3 i9505GUEUBMH5: enabled Auto Complete, fixed forced close on rejected call:
Download for stock deodexed XXUEMJ7:
Status bar: mj7-systemui-kk-signed.zip
Dialer/Contact: mj7-gpe-dialer-signed.zip
Download for stock deodexed XXUEMK8:
Status bar: mk8_kitkat-sysui_noampm.zip: + black status bar, clock without am/pm.
Dialer/Contact: mk8-gpe-dialer-signed.zip + enable CRT screen off.
Bonus:
AOSP lockscreen for MK8: mk8-aosp-lockscreen-signed.zip Change settings in Settings > My device > Lock screen > Unlock effect > None.
Warning:
Dialer Package includes modified services.jar which skip signature check, this package replaces SecContacts.apk with Contacts.apk and Dialer.apk. Contacts app will forced close continuously until you navigate to Settings > More > Application Manager > All > Contacts and clear its cache.
Dialer app won't show in app drawer, you have to use quickshortcutmaker of similar app to create a shortcut for home screen.
Side note: Samsung command like *#0011# *#0*# .. works because the dialer is from Samsung GPE

All dev here at XDA and other place around the globe, I forgot the source... I'll find it later.
As precaution, please make usual backup. I'm not responsible for boot loop/brick result from above packages :cyclops:

Thanks again, I attached SystemUI.apk from MJ8.
Strange thing, I have nandroid backup MJ7 (GOLDENEYE ROM) and after I flashed your SystemUI I had same thing like in MJ8, phone boots OK but there's no status bar nor wallpaper. As far as I know SystemUI from GOLDENEYE is stock without any modifications.

You can search here how to compile/recompile... and for touchwiz rom, just add the framework.apk and twframework.apk. And what I've changed are the icons located in \res\drawable-xxhdpi and for the integrated signal and data, I've change res\layout\signal_cluster_view.xml. I attach the file here so you can compare the different.
Please keep in mind that the spacing in this file fit with signal bar icons I replaced.

If you meant the font in transparent status bar in my screen shot, it's because I use Xposed framework and Wanam exposed to use Condensed font. But kitkat also release new thin/light/condensed fonts... to me, I don't see any different but if you want you can check in my attachment.

I put it in a UFT zip and edited file names to be compatible with more than just one single TW rom for a single device. Now thanks to my help with his original work, it is compatible with AOSP, TW and GE roms for any device. not to mention VRthemes (like the other guy posted) are only good for CWM or TWRP. there are separate VRtheme templates for each. eww. my UFT is compatible with both cwm and twrp, and all 3 rom types on any xxhdpi device.

Eww flash the undo zip on your sdcard
Dear friends,
First thanks to TRusselo for its nice work.
I see some people have problems with this theme. I think that coming from the fact that the MOD is a VR themes, and some mods are not possible with this kind of project. The advantage of it is that they are universal, but they can only patch resources like icons/pictures and sometime its not enough.
If you study the original MOD, you will see that the author also work on layout XML files (signal_cluster_view) which are compiled for a particular ROM so they cannot be used in a VR mod. You won't be able to have the "stacked" signal icons that way from original SystemUI.
The problem of the battery is the same : some systemUi have been changed by ROM makers to extend the original behaviour (animated charge battery ...). We can see in the icons directory that the icons are patched in the drawable-xhdpi resource directory while most of the SystemUi use drawable-xxhdpi directory and tw_stat_sys_battery_xxxx file names.
For all those reasons I'm afraid that the only way to achieve the original MOD with all its feature is to rebuild the original files and to replace them on ROMS. I've done it for me, I will try to share a version for latest TW roms.

its not a VRtheme zip, its a Universal Flasher Theme zip. 2 different but similar methods. and with both, it doesnt work with ANY rom but, also can..
there are some TW roms that this does work on, others not, works better with AOSP and GE roms, but there's one or 2 they dont. Subtle differences break functionality. Some custom TW roms have the stacked icons incorporated already, and allows this to work. other roms have no send/receive icons at all, and yes some xposed modules take over icons.

3Minit Battery Mod is not my work, I only modified LGSystemUI and added this module.
The original thread :http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2799958
Thanks to @gharrington for the mod and @Ticklefish and @tdunham for helping me with decompiling and recompiling. Check out Ticklefish's fantastic tool, Tickle My Android here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1633333.
Thanks to @bloof for files and for testing this on CloudyG3 to ensure that it's working.
Also thanks to @Kirpman who also provided me with his files from CloudyG3.
Finally, last but not least: a big thanks to @XxZombiePikachu for the installation ZIP.
3Minit Battery mod for LG G2 using CloudyG2 2.2 and CloudyG3 2.1 (LG G2 Version)
Please do not use this mod on any other version than CloudyG3. It will most likely NOT work.
What is this?
It's a mod for your battery icon. It replaces the original battery meter with a custom battery meter of your choice. There are over 1070 battery icons to choose from!
Installation instructions
1. Download CloudyG3_3minit.zip and CloudyG3_Restore.zip. CloudyG3_Restore.zip is a backup ZIP if things go sour or you don't like this mod and you want to go back.
2. Download and install 3minit app v2.2 from here. Make sure you install the apk or you will get androidsystemui force close.
3. After installing, reboot to recovery and flash CloudyG3_3minit.zip
4. Reboot and profit!
What do I do if I have an issue?
Flash the CloudyG3_Restore.zip. Please note that it's a deodexed LGSystemUI.apk but it will have no impact. Report here afterwards including info about your ROM. It has, however, been thoroughly tested and should work flawlessly.
Will you support more ROMS in the future?
Yes. I just have to find time and see which ROM has the highest demand.
Features
LGSystemUI.apk with support for 3Minit Battery mod. Deodexed and Zipaligned.
Can I use this on the Odexed version of CloudyG3 2.1
Yes you can without any issues.
Eww! I don't like this! How do I remove this?
Reboot to recovery, flash CloudyG3_Restore.zip and reboot. When you are in the rom again, delete 3minit.apk.
Why a seperate thread?
It's simply to avoid confusion and problems. Since CloudyG3 is based on G3A firmware and OptimusG3 is based on a Hybrid G2/G3 firmware it will cause problems if cross-flashed.
Any questions? Feel free to ask!

First of, check your grammar. There is a certain word there that could make your sentence look offensive. Depending on how the opposite part takes it though :silly:
Second, I was wondering the same..?
I jumped the gun and flashed it on cloudy 2.2 and it works!
Whoops, I missed the question. Thanks for answering it, Arju.
Yes, CloudyG2 2.2 is not much different from CloudyG3 2.1 , so yes!
its the same rom,cloudy just renamed it

Your browser says that? Ignore it. It often tells me that when I download ROMs. I think apk files are considered malicious or something.

[MOD][THEME][G2][CLOUDY G2.2 & G3 2.1][DEODEXED] Cobalt (+ Giga) icons / UI theme

UPDATED!
CLOUDY G2 2.2 & G3 2.1 - MOD for Cobalt (+some Gigamatrix) icons & UI theme- See screenshots
CREDITS TO ICON CREATORS!!! THANKS!!
PS: If you did create the icons and don't want them released in this MOD please let me know.
WORKS WITH CLOUDY G2 2.2
I said DEODEXED, and I repeat it. I don't know if this works on ODEX ROM, but it should (now you flash entire apks, not just patch them). Let me know if it does, only test after full nandroid backup.

Tested:
This should work on Dalvik and ART and ODEXED ROMs.
- D802 cloudy G3 2.1 Deodexed ART with and without 3minit MOD
- LS980: seems to create an nfc error
Please let me know if you test on other configurations, including odex ROM.
I have serious doubts it would work on verizon phones, depends on how Cloudy G3 works on those.
3minit battery mod for Cloudy G3:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/themes-apps/3minit-battery-mod-cloudyg3-2-1-t2962454
credits @vPro97
NOTE on 3minit MOD: if you want 3minit MOD, then first install that, if you apply 3minit AFTER applying my MOD you will lose some aspects of it.
Notes:
- Battery icon in screenshots is from 3minit
- Most icons are Cobalt. I also used some status bar icons from Gigamatrix (either because they are nicer or Cobalt was not themed), etc.
- The status bar icons have been resized from G3 to fit, others have not, and I like the very large quicksettings icons!
- T-action is not themed, i Just replaced the blue button with something that doesn't clash as much.
- some UI icons in settings might no be themed in "tab mode"
Instructions:
1. Either make a full nandroid backup (recommended if you are testing on an ODEX ROM), or follow these instructions for creating a quick flashable recovery file.
Backup the following files with ZIPme: (Make sure you backup the odex files too if you are testing this on an odex ROM!
system/app/LGEasySettings.apk & LGNfc.apk
system/framwork/framework-res.apk & lge-res.apk
system/priv-app/LGContacts.apk & LGInCallUI.apk & LGSettings.apk & LGSystemUI.apk
2. Download flashable zips (see Download section below)
4. Reboot to recovery
5a. If you DON'T have E 3minit: Flash "Flash-CloudyG3-Cobalt-Theme-FULL files.zip" first, if you want the light blue clock on the left then also flash "Flash-CloudyG3-ClockBlueLeft-stock.zip" second (this last flashable zip is only a patch to LGSystemUI.apk, it might not work for ODEX ROMs).
5b. If you HAVE 3minit: Flash "Flash-CloudyG3-Cobalt-3minit-FULL files.zip" first, if you want the light blue clock on the left then also flash "Flash-CloudyG3-ClockBlueLeft-3minit.zip" second (this last flashable zip is only a patch to LGSystemUI.apk, it might not work for ODEX ROMs).
6. Reboot to system
Downloads:
Flash-CloudyG3-Cobalt-Theme-FULL files.zip
Flash-CloudyG3-Cobalt-3minit-FULL files.zip
Flash-CloudyG3-ClockBlueLeft-3minit.zip
Flash-CloudyG3-ClockBlueLeft-stock.zip
Restore:
If you have followed this link instructions to create a recovery file BEFORE applying these MODs, then simply reboot to recovery and flash your recovery file.
If you also installed 3minit MOD please follow the 3minit MOD removal instructions (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/themes-apps/3minit-battery-mod-cloudyg3-2-1-t2962454).

Thanks, trying to catch up with you.
But this flashable ZIP only contains replacement image files and patches the apks, so not sure if it would work on Odex.

Oh! I think the best you can do (if it doesn't work for ODEX) is to provide a LGsystemui.apk that's already Deodexed and contains your changes. People will end up with a Deodexed systemui but if it's zipaligned they won't notice a decrease in performance at all.

Sorry to hear that.
Which model do you have?
The only thing I can think of is that your nfc.apk is different for some reason.
Option 1:
1. Boot to recovery and wipe dalvik+cache.
2. See if that works.
Option 2:
1. Revert to your original files
2. Boot to recovery and flash the non-full version:

I'm on the ls980. I just did a clean install and will try the full again and if that doesn't work I'll try the non-full version. I had xposed and other stuff installed, so I'm trying it without the other tweaks to see if that's what's causing the problem.

Ok the link you posted worked but I don't have everything themed. Battery and signal are still white and the left side of the status bar is stock also.
@bloof Is there a way you can create a full theme that takes out the nfc.apk or whatever it was that caused the nfc chaos on my ls980? I'm a huge fan of the Cobalt theme and would love to have everything themed with it. Hope I'm not sounding too pushy.

Thanks for testing. Don't have an ls980 so can't find out what to change.
For removing the nfc.apk it is really easy, just unzip the full flashable zip, delete nfc.apk folder and re-zip, you're good for re-flashing.

Did you manage to make it work? The only difference will be the NFC icon in status bar will be missing.
For other status bar notification icons, the ones on the left will always be stock as they are contained within the apps themselves. Only exceptions are system status icons (adb, usb, etc).

YES! Just tested on G2 2.2 Dalvik deodexed.
All relevant apks have the same MD5 in 2.2 and 2.1, so works just as before.
@bloof How can I make this theme work with Cloudy G3 3.3? Are you able to do so if its beyond basic knowledge?
Sorry, my G2 bricked 2 weeks ago, (full brick, no response).
But there is a cobalt module in xposed i think.

Ok I'll give that a try. Also, see if reseating your sim card and then holding the power button for about 10 seconds will make it boot up. I had that happen to me about the same time as yours and that did the trick for me.

[MOD] Battery Percentage on StatusBar Stock based MTC19T - MTC19Z

The option of having the battery percentage seems to have been removed with MTC19T. One of these zips will put one to the left of your battery. The other will replace your battery with percentage only. Since most of you are not deodexed, one is a full systemui.apk replacement. If you have other mods done to your systemui, you will need to perform them again after flashing this.

It works with centered clocks too.
The font is not bold as the Clock, and is therefore somewhat awkward.
There is an exposed module (if you're using it) called Battery Percent that does just that but bold and consistent with the Clock font and size.

No, I don't use exposed. I prefer to do my own modding.
Making it bold should not be a problem, nor size. Thanks for the suggestion.

No, this is currently for MTC19T only though I could make it for other firmwares. I don't have a deodexed copy of Android N preview 3 so I have no way of doing it.

I took a look at Android N earlier (preview 2, I think). I got it deodexed but if I remember right, I had trouble getting it to except modifications. Bootlooped every time. If you had a copy of preview 3 or if I could get a copy without having to install it on my phone, I'd be happy to check in to it.
Edit: Tried again. The problem is I cannot get it deodexed.
Paranoid Android implement the same battery percentage solution as here.
Hopefully their return will help make this a new standard instead of CM's tiny annoying font.

I would need a deodexed copy of the systemui.apk due to smali files that need to be added.
How to flash?
Can I flash this directly on stock rom without root or bootloader unlock? or need to intall custom recovery?
