Lenovo Vibe Shot Z90-7 ROM Flashing problem - Android General

This method http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/lenovo-z90-7-vibe-shot-international-t3148018 doesn't work for my Z90-7 (Chinese fw). I tried everything, multiple times, multiple computers etc...
Device info (VIBEUI_2.5_ST):
i63.tinypic.com/205ul1.jpg
I'm still getting the error as shown below:
oi68.tinypic.com/29v3ow.jpg
Tried on W7 x64, USB3/USB2, multiple cables, like a hundred times with different timing.
When holding the VOL+ button and connecting the cable, the screen blinks for a tiny moment with lenovo logo
Couldn't get help in the original thread so I made a new one.
Any help appreciated!

Bricked KF2 not recognozed by ADB in fastboot! Please Help

I have searched the web for hours to no avail, I have tried installing many different drivers and many different solutions but I still end up getting the same message. <waiting for device> I have tried two different computers, one with windows 7 and one with windows 8.1, and still the same error. The device shows up in the device manager with a yellow triangle next to it. (See picture)
The device itself boots into fast mode with the factory cable and has the green light blinking. When turned on with the default cable, the Kindle Fire logo appears then it instantly goes red. I do believe there are drivers that will work, I have found some ancient posts on here that have people claiming that they work, but the links were all on goo.im, which doesn't exist anymore. I really would appreciate if anyone could help me on this, thanks in advance.

Emish X700 Android TV box KK 4.4.04

Hi I bought on ebay android tv box called Emish X700. Once i went for holiday and disconnected TV box from power outlet. After 2 weeks i came back home and when i turned it on TV box get stucked with picture of dead android without any option. I tried to do reset with toothpick for 10 sec in hole but with no change. when i googled a bit i found tools and firmware which helped me to restore this TV box to factory state and to be able to use it again. That's why i'd like to share it with users with same or similar problem.
Firmware + Flash tools + Drivers
Steps.
1. download attached files
2. unpack it
3. follow instructions from document in "X700 upgrade" folder
4. in case your PC can't detect your device use "Android Tool" flasher with firmware from "X700 upgrade" folder
5. after successful flashing device will reboot and will be booting for about 15 mins, so be patient
Where can I find Android Tool?
I did the step but in the program for firmware update the label does not become Green, so can't detect the device
Android tool is possible to download from link in 1st post. to get green status in program you have to plug usb cable connected already to your computer to your box with pressed resset button for abbout 5 secs.
I did for 10 seconds but nothing happens
Edit: it work, thank you very much for the guide!!
need you help

You have to use the tool for flash, not the program where the label should become green.

Read my previous post!!
I get the error IDB failed in android tools, what can I do?
Thanks for this! I've been searching everywhere.
Device not recognized using the tools.
I have an Emish 700 android box. Works great WHEN it's working. What I mean is that now and again the red light simply won't click on to blue? I've tried switching it off and on and disconnecting it, reconnecting it... over and over again. After a day or so, all of a sudden, poof it comes on blue when connected. I'm ready to throw it out and buy something new. I tried the tools above, but my computer won't recognize the device? Does it need to be plugged in and turned on showing the blue light to work? Thanks!
Thanks for the software and drivers, my device now is alive again.
for those who don't work properly the reset button, I was in the same situation, searching on google reset for RK3128 devices, I find a solution, do a short circuit between 8-9 Pin on NAND chip with the USB connected.
Install the drivers attached at the link from djmaj0, flash the update image with Android Tools, and now working perfectly.
PD: i flashed with Win10 x64 and no problems, don't need W7 or W8
Thanks again djmaj0!
After flash
After the flash, is the Android still 4.4.1? or updated to 5.0 or higher?
I have emish x700. However unable to identify the toothpick hole as no click on/off apparent. Im assuming the hole on back between the usb ports. Can you confirm this or where it is. My device is frozen on the emish screen and will not proceed further. Thanks

Yes you're right. The reset button is hidden in hole between 2 USB ports.

.
Thanks Djamjo
On my device unable to feel any pin through that hole. Saw posts elsewhere that you can use the on/off switch and volume control. Do you / any one know about this, also hole underneath the box whick on left out of line to other holes??.
Have downloaded the files. Can you confirm unpacking is same as extracting or unzipping ?. And as havent got to instructions yet do I need to copy the files to a usb or do everything from the laptop.
What is a short circuit between 8/9 pins on nand chip as advised above, and roughly how one would one do it.?
Sorry this is all a learning curve, hence delay. Thanks
For flashing firmware is required the DC-IN 5V to be connected?
So I found out that we have to connect the box with USB3. But in the flash process I get the errore Download IDB Fail. Anyone had this?
I know it's an old post, I successfully upgraded my emish x700 who had power on issues, now I see two types of memory partitions, phone about 1GB and internal_sd about 6GB. Why? Before upgrade I remember I had only one memory (think so) and I didn't have full memory issues when installing new apps. Who can help me?

[Completed] Bricked Alcatel OT 6030A reboots too fast for flashing

As the title says.
I've been trying to fix this phone, which apparently has gotten a bad flash. I've tried already with different Scatter files, ROMs, USB cables, PCs (both win 32 and 64 bits) and still I can't find a way around this.
Whenever I connect it, it either connects as a PreLoader or as a MTK device.
After 10 or 11 seconds the phone seems to reboot and the flashing progress interrupts abruptly.
Thanks in advance.

[UMIDIGI ONE PRO] Bad flashing, can't start download with SPFT

Hello, new member here. I can't post this in Umidigi One Pro subforum, so I'm doing it here.
I'm trying to revive a Umidigi One Pro. It seems it's a case of flashing gone bad.
I can get to recovery (twrp) if I hold all three buttons for about 15 seconds and then relase and hold only vol+. Then I can choose recovery, fastboot or normal. From twrp I can't mount any partiton nor do successful wipe or install zip from SD card. I can't access the phone from PC if I choose fastboot.
I tried to flash it with SPFT a lot of times with all possible combinations of drivers, operating systems and buttons pressed.
I followed the instruction from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/rooting-roms/guide-mediatek-spflashtool-failure-t2936933
https://forum.xda-developers.com/elephone-p8000/help/how-to-guideline-install-mtk-drivers-t3334698
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1982587
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2674459
The phone is recognized by the OS, I see the red ribon, but after that the flasing doesn't happen. It time-outs in 4 minutes or so with "status download exception". I tried different computers, win 7, 8.1 and 10 (32bit and 64bit), legacy driver enabled/disabled. Also changed USB port multiple times. I've read multiple threads all over the internet and watched countless youtube videos. I also tried Linux from this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ge...torial-how-to-setup-spflashtoollinux-t3160802
I understand there are a lot of threads just like this one. I read a lot of them and tried anything I could find. I'm out of ideas what else could be done to start the download to the phone. I can get to twrp so i Guess it's probably not hardware fault.
Can anyone help?

Another Load error. Computer won't recognize device.

I have the same problem as many others have had, but most of those threads get fixed by sideloading OTAs or booting into recovery. I cant get adb to recognize my device. I have tried updating drivers, switched cables, different computers, deleting and re-downloading platform tools, etc. Is there something I'm missing, or is my phone completely dead? I don't believe it's the usb port, because when the phone is off and I plug in the cable, The screen flashes the charging symbol briefly and then turns on to the load error screen. My bootloader is unlocked and is on slot A. Thanks for any help you all can give.
