I've already fixed the RW of the external SD using the app in the Playstore and also the camera is set to record the videos and pictures to the external SD. Problem is that when I try to record a timeshift video, I get an error and I can't record anything. However, if I choose the internal memory, the videos are saved with no problem.
The memory is a Samsung high class. I've already tried the memory in a goPro with no issues and the SD is perfect... No idea why I can't record videos to the external SD though
Thanks in advance.
Timeshift videos simply cant records on external micro SD.You only can recored timeshift videos on internal memory and than cut them on mico SD.

Does it realy matter if I install coreplayer on main memory as compare to storage card. Will the performance difference noticable or its just a thoery.
Similerly does it also amke difference if I store audio/video files on main memory?
TCPMP has a benchmark function (click file-benchmark) so you can see for yourself by trying it all 4 ways:
Player and video in memory.
Player and video on storage card.
Player on storage card video in memory
player in memory video on storage card....
Let us know!

I have several videos on my external SD card and can open and see them with Gallery>Stock Player, but not anything else. The stock player plays the vids, but because of the format they play choppy. I tried using Rockplayer free to play them but each time I tried it said it could not open the file. This was done using Gallery and selecting default app to play vids. On Rockplayer itself, it does not detect the external SD card or the external media.
Anyone figure a way around this? Or is this still a work in progress?
Go into options on Rockplayer and change the root directory to "/" or "/mnt". Then you will find "..", select it and work you way over to sdcard2. Also set the option to show all files, not just media. Rockplayer will play more than it would suggest by what it shows.

hi guys! i have a few issues regarding my GTab 7.0 plus P6200 ver.
i just bought it yesterday + a 32gb class 4 sd card. i installed Samsung Kies and then my pc detected my GTab. I opened the sd card folder and started copying movies and music and the copying is succesfull to the SD CARD. I also copied photos to the GTab's internal memory and it went well..
heres the problem, when i open my GTab default GALLERY application i cant see the pictures i put to the internal memory. also i opened the default video and music player and i cant see also the video and music's i put on the SD card. BUT, i can see the pictures, videos and listen to the musics using the MY FILES application.
Take note that this is out-of-the-box unit, never been rooted.
What maybe the problem is?
i just use the traditional copy-paste method in transferring the files BUT with the SAMSUNG SKIES installed.
Is there a good, high quality app (pay is fine) that allows selecting external storage (Meenova) as a destination directory for video recordings?
Thx
I've got a rooted Galaxy S5, SM-G900A. I'm on kitkat, but I used sd fix and it tells me my sd is fixed. Well, heres my problem. I use es file explorer, and I have no trouble transfering photos or other documents, including both apk and exe files from the internal storage to the sd card. But some mp4 videos do not transfer correctly. Some will no longer play after the transfer, others will only play part of the video before getting the message "cannot play this video". Like I said, it is only some mp4's. Ive tried using a computer to do the swap, and even rom toolbox pro. Still the same. On occasion a vid that was transfered but stops playing near the end, after trying again, it just doesn't play. The sd seems to be working great. I was able to transfer apps using app2sd, and they work great also. Has anyone had this odd problem, or know how to fix it. The videos on the sd play all the way through. And the videos that won't transfer play great from the internal storage. So, who here is a genius. I need your help. Thanks in advance.
