Hi, when charger is connected my phone keeps rebooting on Google logo, when I disconnect a charger it has no signs of being alive. What should I do? Help me please
EDIT: now somehow i managed to get into fastboot, but when i try to get into recovery phone reboots again and shows full charged battery. What should I do now? I tried to flash stock and unroot via nexus root toolkit, i get the same.

I have had the same problem several times.
Mine was a sticky power button on a phone I keep very clean.
I haven't seen any discussion of this so I thought I was the only one.
At first I could tap the area around the button and it would loosen up and stop.
After some time that stopped working.
I tried to open the phone but found I had no access to the power button mechanism.
Last resort was a can of WD-40 with the straw on.
I sprayed a bit around the button and played with it for a few minutes and problem solved.
I was worried about the WD-40 inside the phone but haven't had any issues since.
This was about 3 months ago and would happen to me about once a month before.
I hope this helps.

i think my power button works perfectly, because everytime i try to go to fastboot it works. Now I see only "full battery charged" symbol like this:

im able to get ONLY into fast boot. Ive tried fastboot format and flashing everything stock, didn't helped. what should i do now?
That symbol does not mean the battery is full, it means the phone is connected to a charging source.

Does the bootloader re-lock when the phone reboots?
Disconnect the usb cable from the charger, then re-connect the usb cable. Does the LED blink red?
Did you try using the original USB cable and charger that came with the phone? Do you have a wireless qi charging pad to try?
I dont have original, but with qi charger it reboots a little bit more often than on the wire charger
Boot loader stays unlocked.

Are you able to successfully flash a stock rom or does it reboot before it can flash? Could be a damaged memory chip.
I had this happen to the Nexus 5 I gave my mom. It would show no signs of life from any button combo but when plugged into the charger the Google logo would appear but then turn off again. I would be able to go bootloader but then it would restart. Guessed the power button had to be resoldered onto the device and took it to a repair shop last week where they confirmed

I suggest opening up the phone, removing the motherboard, and press and release the power button several times in a row, using lots of pressure, but not so much pressure that you damage the button.
I had a phone that would reboot or power itself off at random. I was going to pay to have it fixed but I decided to open it up, clean out the phone, press a few times on the power button, and now it works. No random reboots or shutdowns.
Does your phone battery charge to 100%?
Maybe the phone has a battery problem, power button problem, or memory problem.

Ok so I have browsed many threads on bricked xoom 2 / xyboards and most have been fixed via fastboot files. My problem is when i was clearing cache from a JB update.zip I had applied I accidently whiped System... When i went to reboot it said no OS installed warning, so i freaked out and plugged it in over night so it would not do anything from that point until i could get the fastboot files today. When i had woke up the battery was completely dead I have tried to plug it in and charge but it will only charge enough to turn on an sit at the M logo screen, i can get into fastboot mode but it keeps saying battery level low charge first, but as soon as the tablet charges it stops once it turns on (the white light goes out) I have read in other threads
Well there is the problem, depending on how "bricked" it is the following apply.
Really bricked. Stuck at M Your going to need to pull the battery and charge it out side of the tablet.
Kind of bricked. Os boots but loops at animation. Turn off tablet and plug in charger.
The OS is needed to charge the tablet. All be it the whole is dose not need to load. So if it's looping while attempting to do the final boot sequence then it should still charge.
From a power off state only the minimal core stuff needs to run for the charging modules to load. That said from a power off state the entire OS does not typical load

I am willing to do what it takes to get the battery out if need be, but I cannot find a DIY on this? does anyone else have any suggestions? Im not completely new to rooting / flashing, but I have always done so on a phone an this is the first time i have ever cleared system.

Here's my Mcgyver fix for no os an low battery that won't charge.

If you can still boot into fast mode like this but won't stay on long enough it's because an os is required to charge your battery.
Step 1 - start removing the rear cover
With a small tipped screwdriver or razor blade gently work your way between the glass and the rear plastic. This process is time consuming be patient . After working the case off you will see this.
Once the case is off the next step is to disconnect the two battery cables

Next step grab an old charge cable and cut off the micro USB end. Peel back the rubber an you will find 4 wires. Black and red are the important ones, cut off others and strip red an black wires (if u have no wire stripers simply use a lighter to light the wire on fire an with a napkin pinch an pull , all off the rubber should b off now.
Now that your cable is ready remove the 2 screws holding down the wires to the battery (t5 torx bits) once these have been taken off wrap the red wire to the red loop ( tape these ends for safety ) do the same with black. Once you have them set up plug it into you laptop and let charge for 1-2 hrs ( always check on the temperature of battery for safety)
Once charged start it up and verify your fast boot screen now shows good battery program ok then proceed to rsd fastboot flash .
everything should run smooth after this.

My experience is using a factory cable to turn on phone n install firmware w/o removing battery.
So my TF101 appears to be completely dead. I had it rooted and rom'd running KatKiss 4.3,not sure of which number . I loved it too. Anyway, before it died, it rebooted and would not leave the "updating apps"screen so I did a factory install which fixed the problem but only temporarily. A few days later the same thing happened. This time I could not even reboot it. I left it charged overnight but could not get it to boot at all. I think I have tried everything. I tried booting with and without being on the keyboard dock, I have tried plugging into the computer, tried hdmi to a monitor to see if the screen went bad. I tried seeing if the computer recognized it in APX mode. NOTHING. The USB charges the keyboard dock but does nothing for the tablet. The computer does not see it period. It looks completely dead. It is out of warranty but I even called ASUS and all they would do is charge me $340 to send it in.
I would love to troubleshoot to see if it is a board or battery or whatever gone bad , but I cannot find anything on the Web. Can anyone help. Otherwise it's a lovely paperweight.
It's possible that the battery has come to the end of it's life and won't hold any charge, which would explain why APX mode won't work, the PC can't power on the TF via USB, only trickle charge it while it's powered off / screen is off, but if the battery is dead then that's not gonna happen either
Not sure if the charger needs the battery for it to power on the TF too or not
You could try disconnecting the battery and plugging in the charger

Im not 100% sure, but if the dock battery is fine, you could check and see if the connections are the same and swap them over

Thanks for the awesome YouTube of breaking down the TF101. Unfortunately, I swapped batteries and still no good. Nothing happens. It looks like the old battery has power too, based on my multimeter. Is there anyone else with suggestions at this point or do I leave it as a nice paperweight?

Apologies for resurrecting this thread. My TF101 (with dock) had also gone dead after running one of the KatKiss ROMs (maybe 4.2). Wouldn't charge, wouldn't turn on even to the bootloader or recovery. Charged it for days, nothing. I left it for dead and forgot about it for over 6 months. Uncovered it the other, dusted it off, charged it and it magically powered up. Everything was still on the tablet as it was before it went unresponsive.
My guess is that a microcontroller responsible for powering up the tablet got into a bad state. Even when powered off, these very low power microcontrollers remain on to handle the button press that powers on the device. It took the tablet being absolutely, fully discharged to clear it out of that bad state. Not just 0% as reported by the battery firmware, but a true complete emptying of the battery where its voltage drops below what the microcontroller needs to remain running.
Hopefully if you still have the TF101 after all this time, try charging it up all the way and see if it comes back to life.

- phone was totally hot
- when connected to wall charger, it showed blinking red LED, but after 30 seconds, it turned off - phone was totally hot
- ... suddenly after 10 minutes, phone stopped overheating and when connected to wall charger, it changed LED from blinking red to green LED.
Now, my phone looks like this - only green LED is displayed during charging - see below.
I tried to follow this guide, but nothing solved my problem:

First of all what were you doing before this happened? Did you flash anything not intended for this phone? To me it sounds like a brick.. can you access bootloader at all?

I did not flash anything on my phone - for more than 3 weeks.
I installed M6 and used the phone.
After 3 weeks, it suddenly made this strange thing.
I cannot access bootloader, it does not boot at all.
It only shows the green icon when cable plugged in, but it does not charge.
I have it on the charger about 24 hrs.
It really looked like some hardware issues, since I did not flash anything there.

Could be wrong but I remember my One XL days and I remember an issue with it leading to bricks and everyone had to avoid CM till it was sorted out. Like users could flash and run CM but all of the sudden bricks were happening.. And it may be the same here. But I could be wrong.. of you can't access bootloader pay for jtag or get new HTC One Mini from HTC.

I think my N5 is buggered.
I was at a festival this weekend and my phone battery ran out so I left it in my bag for more of the weekend. On the drive back it was working fine as I was using GPs, making calls, using Gplay without any problems. As my GF wanted to charge her phone mine ran out again by the time I got home and I went to charge it as it was down to 2% but when I plugged the charger in it would not charge. It would start charging for a second then stop for a second and then start again. So I unplugged it and went to give it a re-boot and the screen came back on corrupted like this -

It's a problem with the flex cable, the screen, or possibly the motherboard.

I have a problem with my new Samsung S6. Phone works very well, after I was updated the software, battery fail on 7% and I cant charge phone. I try to wipe cache partition and reset on factory settings but the situation is the same. I cant charge phone right now, when i plugged ,screen show the charging icon for a few minutes and dissaper but not show that phone is charging. When I try to turn on phone after samsung logo phone turned off because is battery empty. Does someone have a solution to fix a problem ? thanks

Yes, i am using a orginal charger and usb cable. I test charger and cable on other phone and everything works . But before that I was charged phone with non-orginal charger maybe two or three times , in period of two months.
Did you get a black screen with a white "X" in the lower right or left corner?
Was there any flcikering on the screen or a Samsung power-sharing notification popping up?
Can you charge your phone with inductive chargers?

No , i didnt get a black screen wiith a white "X", i show to you what I get but nothing happens.
I will post pictures link in a minute . After i try to turn on the phone, samsung logo appears , phone vibrate and when it must turn on phones goes to off because battery is on 0%. This charging sign appears in a few minutes and dissaper. I dont have a wireless charger to try charg phone on that way.

When you see that charging sign, press and hold the home button and power button at the same time.
This worked for me. Now my phone is charging normally.
