no sound during calls

i flashed to HTC professional 1921 and i have a problem when i receive calls. i can only receive and hear them when i'm on speaker (i noticed some of the people have this problem on VoIP - but i'm talking about regular phone calls) The person on the other end of the phone can hear me fine. I can only during calls using speakerphone or headphones.
i searched the forum, but didn't find and answer
does anyone know how can i fix this?

Flash another rom just to be sure it's not a hardware problem.

I to am experiencing a similar issue. Have you tried talking on the phone when you flip it and fold? Basically putting it in portrait mode, is that when you don't get any sound? That is when I don't get any sound, but if I just leave it open in laptop mode I can hear, but trying to talk to someone looks very awkward.

hey i have the same problem , but it's seems to be an hardware problem , what's odd is , it's happen after i flashed :S . anyway i flashed back to my operator ROM and used my insurence .... it's all fixed now .

Yeah, it happened to me after i flashed which is weird. i agree it must be a hardware problem though because I just flashed to the button rom and am still not hearing anything during calls. Unfortunately, my warranty has already run out...so sad.

i think it's an no luck thing . maybe it was humid in you room or who knows .
u should fix it at some store - hope they gonna keep the price cheap .

I know it's strange to ask about something related to calls on a phone
But...
made a call today, other side couldnt hear me. tried another person, same.
rebooted phone and all is good.
anybody had this at all?
No idea if it's phone or software (or if it will happen again)

Welcome to the club, I have the same issue but its very random so you cannot recreate it, this is said to be a software issue related to noise cancellation.

Call failed.

I am having a random issue with 3 different numbers calling me. When ever the call comes in and I go to answer it the call immediately fails.
This happens if I answer from the phone or my Bluetooth headset. It's only from 3 numbers that I've experienced so far. I can call them with no problem at all.
The only similarity between the 3 is they all have iPhones.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions to fix this?

Anyone having issues with the loudspeaker?

Whenever I call people on the loudspeaker, the person on the other end says I sound muffled or crackly. Anyone else have the same issue. Fastboot flashed stock rom and made no difference.

Yeah I've been having the same issue since the phone came out. Not sure if it can be fixed or not with a software update.

Try recording a video of yourself using the front facing camera, how does it sound?

I have the same proplem. Any now if it is software or harsware issue.
also when i hit the on/off button for waking the phone up the front camera is going up and down.

I have the same issue, Microphone works fine in other apps

Same problem here, spoke with support and they unable to help. I've had this problem for a while now and considering getting rid of this phone if no fix very soon. Unfortunately this has put me off ever buying oneplus again.

Cannot answer incoming calls - Unless on Wifi?

My phone has been doing this for the past week or so -
If I am at home on my wifi and someone calls me, the dialer functions as normal.
However when I am not connected to a wifi network and someone calls me I cannot answer. The phone will ring, the dialer will not come up and allow me to answer.
The only reason I know someone is calling me is because my Mi Band is going off with the contact and my phone is playing the ringtone.
Has anybody else had this?

That's your problem

I'm going to try the pixel experience custom rom.
Hopefully that will resolve the issue.
Stock plain android is all I want.

Can't even do that because I have to wait 7 days to unlock the boot loader! Going to be a long 7 days

Flashed pixel experience rom - still the same !!
A friend also reporting the same bug on his OnePlus, we both using the Google dialer.
Anybody else had this issue?

I'm honestly not too sure to be honest. Minimum a few years.
