I am having a random issue with 3 different numbers calling me. When ever the call comes in and I go to answer it the call immediately fails.
This happens if I answer from the phone or my Bluetooth headset. It's only from 3 numbers that I've experienced so far. I can call them with no problem at all.
The only similarity between the 3 is they all have iPhones.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions to fix this?

I'm running cm7 and often when I'm on the phone it will vibrate and the person on the other end won't be able to hear me any more. I end up having to hang up and redial to fix it. Has anyone else had this problem? It's a bit annoying and I would really like to fix it.

I have an issue that I have no idea what causes it. Every few weeks or so I am not able to text a specific person or call them. I can be on any Rom and kernel combo and the issue will still arise. The messages will send but they never receive them and when I call, it doesn't show that I called on their phone. The only way I have found to fix my issue is to flash a TW Rom at which point we can call and text again then I flash back to AOSP and it will be fine for a few weeks. My friend has an iPhone, which I believe might have something to do with it. When this happens I can call and text any other contact and they can call and text any of their contacts but we can't contact each other. I don't know if the issue is me, them or Verizon, which we both have. If anyone has any insight or has heard of this, any info would be greatly appreciated because it gets annoying having to flash a new Rom every month. (Sorry for any grammatical errors, I'm typing this on a tablet.)
My buddy and I both have androids, he can get my texts but the ones sent to me will not go through. We can call though but the text issue has been happening on three phones. I think it's an issue on his end. He's bone stock.

I know it's strange to ask about something related to calls on a phone
But...
made a call today, other side couldnt hear me. tried another person, same.
rebooted phone and all is good.
anybody had this at all?
No idea if it's phone or software (or if it will happen again)
Welcome to the club, I have the same issue but its very random so you cannot recreate it, this is said to be a software issue related to noise cancellation.

I've been using the phone for almost 7 months now, the problem never occurred until a couple of days ago. In both incoming and outgoing calls, the other party can't hear me, not at all. I cut it and call them again, then it's okay. This problem, however, vanishes if I'm using a headphone or loudspeaker, but whenever I switch from the headphone/loudspeaker to hands-on, the problem immediately starts again. I've tried restarting the phone, doesn't help. Has anyone faced this issue? I heard in one place that a factory reset might be helpful, I'm not quite sure whether I should go for it. Can anyone tell me whether it's a software or a hardware level problem? Because this problem does not occur when I'm using Viber or Skype, it only occurs when I'm calling from my carrier number. Any help will be much appreciated.
I am having a similar if not the same problem. Phone is basically unusable. Going to try the low mic fix in this forum. Only other bit of info I'd add is I'm on AT&T.

OK, So I have flashed the low mic volume fix successfully, and though the problem was intermittent before, I have yet to see the issue persisting past the "fix".
I'll keep my fingers crossed and update if the problem shows up again.
My phone is rooted and i have been randomly not receving messages that were sent to me. I've been gettin cursed out by some friends and family for not responding to them lol. But i never got some of the mesages they sent. Is it just happening to me or is anyone else going through the same?
Best thing you can do right now for the fix is install a new ROM. Better start from fresh install so your device works like new.
what @luisoriera said. i had this issue with the android messages app where it either would receive, or id be texting the wrong person. wiping app data should help. also check for network outages in your area when this happens.

it happens i think its a network problem not a hardware my previous phone would do the same thing before my note 5
