Hi, I have a Motorola Moto G 2013 XT 1032 and it was working great until one day the screen didn't´t turn on any more. I have tested several screen replacements, but still the same problem. I disassembled the LCD and used a flashlight replacing the backlight, and everything else still works OK. This might be a motherboard issue, some one knows which component supplies the screen with energy?
Thank you!

My moto G brightness is really dim, to the pint where I can't see the screen. I first I thought there was a problem with my screen. So i brought a new one and replaced the old one, but its the same thing. But when i get the phone and put it near a lightbulb, I can see the home screen properly. I want to know if it is a internal problem like something to do with the motherboard or its just the system problem.
My Moto g brightness is really dimmed to the point I can not see the screen. First I thought it was the screen display. So I brought a new one but i'm still having the same problem. Then I took everything apart and I'm left with the motherboard, battery and the screen. When i plug them two things in the motherboard and turn on the phone and put it near a lightbulb, I can see the screen. I'm wondering how I can fix this problem. Please help.
Dear All,
I have replaced the broken touch screen lcd display on my Moto G3 XT1550 (Indian version) through AliExpress (since it was not available from Moto service centre yet). It was done by an experienced technician who services many mobiles and known by me for last 1 year at least.
There was only one ribbon connector to connect the display to the board.
I am facing a serious problem now. With the new screen replacement, my Moto G3 is stuck on the boot screen. If I connect the old display back it boots as normal. There were many users who have simply replaced and got their phones working; hence I ordered the same.
We have tried connecting the display live after booting with the old display. Then the new display works perfectly as long as you do not switch the power off. Once you power off and on, the phone is stuck on the boot screen.
Can anyone help with any suggestions?
Thanks and regards,
Jacob
Hmmm , try flashing stock , with the new display installed, via fastboot
Hi. My girlfriend has had her Moto G 2015 (3rd gen) for almost a year now. The phone has been advertised as waterproof, which she has taken advantage of. She was using it in the pool last week to take pictures. It wasn't under for very long at all, and wasn't very deep at all. Ever since then, the battery led in the top speaker grill has been constantly on. Power on/off doesnt fix, and neither does clearing the cache partition. It's only supposed to be on when the battery is really low. Any ideas to fix?

If your phone is rooted, then download MOTO X Led Notification App from playstore and try to toggle it off from there.
The device isn't rooted, however k have considered rooting it just to see if that can fix it.
Dear all,
Greetings!
Problem :
Motorola Moto X 2nd gen (2014) switches off randomly. Battery has charge.
Background :
I bought a Moto X 2nd gen phone some 2.5 years back. It was working flawlessly. One fine day, I dropped the phone which resulted in a shattered screen glass (display and touch function is intact). I don't have a protective screen for the phone. So, I ordered a replacement screen (display + screen) from china and replace it (by myself). After that, I observed that the display is a LCD and not OLED and it ate more power and frequently switched off the phone even though there was full charge. Since it was draining the battery faster, I removed it and replace with the old shattered display. Even now, I face a weird random switch-off problem. The switching off is arbitrary. The logo comes and it switches-off. Does not boot up. But if it is in charge, it boots up to home screen and I can use the phone. But suddenly at some point it will switch off when opening any app or something. I guess when in charge, it does not switch off. But battery looks fine.
Solutions Tried :
I tried to factory-reset it. But it did not solve the problem.
Please guide me here. One more step I wanted to try is try re-flashing stock firmware.
If re-flashing may fix the problem, I will try it. But I need a help here - I found a website where stock ROMs are stored. But I am not sure which one to flash in my device! I have a XT1092 in India. Here is the website:
Sorry, I am not able to post links. (it is firmware(dot)centre/../XT1092)
Please guide me how can I proceed so that I can solve this problem!
Thanks,
Anish.
Bump!
Update:
Tried re-flashing (with and without bootloader unlock) Now, the screen boots up, and when it reaches the first welcome screen (where it set up the language) it suddenly switches off!
(after logos loading and all, it just flashes the welcome screen and dies)
Any help is greatly appreciated
