My Moto g brightness is really dimmed to the point I can not see the screen. First I thought it was the screen display. So I brought a new one but i'm still having the same problem. Then I took everything apart and I'm left with the motherboard, battery and the screen. When i plug them two things in the motherboard and turn on the phone and put it near a lightbulb, I can see the screen. I'm wondering how I can fix this problem. Please help.

I recently replaced the screen on my Inspire because the touch digitizer didn't work and the LCD back-light always remained on. I thought the problems were related but after replacing the screen (LCD and digitizer) the touch works but the back-light is always on. Even if I shut it down the normal way(hold screen lock select shutdown) it says on, the back-light not the phone. I have to pull out the battery or shut down through recovery. Does anyone know why this might happen or any way to turn off the screen back-light?
I also can't adjust the screen brightness it is always 100% and this is killing my battery.
I'm guessing their is no way to fix this but I thought I'd ask. Plus my Inspire like this is still 1000 times better than using my Motorola Flipside.
Edit : (Mod please move to Q&A)
My moto G brightness is really dim, to the pint where I can't see the screen. I first I thought there was a problem with my screen. So i brought a new one and replaced the old one, but its the same thing. But when i get the phone and put it near a lightbulb, I can see the home screen properly. I want to know if it is a internal problem like something to do with the motherboard or its just the system problem.
Hey guys, I need your help. I have a Moto G 1st gen.
My screen shattered a while ago, and I bought and replaced the front glass panel, and after turning on the phone, I get no display. The phone boots, and the back-light works. The vibration feedback also works, and I see on my router that it's connected to the internet. However, I get no display, just a blank screen, no boot logo, nothing.
I dropped my Moto G 2015 today. It was a nasty fall but the case ensured no screen crack. I had already cracked and replaced the screen prior to this.
The battery (Hidden LED in the earpiece) is now permanently lit. I'm running LineageOS and I tried turning off the light from settings where it shows that it's already turned off. Switching it on just makes the light glow brighter.
Any ideas what this might be and how to fix it?

The LED/digitizer probably shifted with respect to the mainboard. You could try removing the LCD/digitizer and look at it and see if you see anything(including unplugging the ribbon cable), and then put it back on. If that light is part of the LCD/digitizer assembly you could replace it again. I don't know as I haven't been in there yet.
Title. My mom needed her screen replaced but the only thing I could do was replace the whole LCD and glass. After putting on the new display I get an issue where the LED indicator shows, but nothing on the display. Does this with the old one too. Any help would be appreciated.
I do notice when I try to turn on the display a line at the top flashes
